The East will win the All-Star game.....and in a surprise...I have the Rookies taking out the Sophomores

Edit: Lebron and Paul George on one team aint even fair for the West

Not happening.
I'm from the east, and even I can see the west is a far superior conference.
Half of the east all stars wouldn't be on the west squad.

@Judgementday:
They changed the format.
Instead of rookies vs sophmores, 2 people will draft individuals from a pool of all 18 players, going back and forth, till 2 rosters are formed.

I believe this draft is happening on the 6th.

No. Lebron is still the best player in the game, and Paul George is having a terrific season, but those are the two main things the east has going for it. This game involves a lot of running, and as such, depth is important, and depth is where the west outranks the east tenfold.

Kevin Durant is playing out of his mind. The west has 4 bigmen (Love, Aldridge, Howard, Griffin) who I would take before any of the easts. And 3 backcourt players (Curry, Harden, Paul) who I would take before any of the easts guards.

Well the West has more defined talent in a game where nobody tries ( a few dunks and shit ) until the fourth quarter. Which i'll give to LeBron and PG.

John Wall should be starting, and Anthony Davis got robbed, and especially Dragic, helping the Suns stay well above .500 in a season that's supposed to be a tank season.

I just have this feeling in my gut that Curry, Love and Durant will go off from downtown that night. If all three of those guys are on, it's over.

Wall should be starting, over either of those guys. Lowry, Lance Stephenson and Al Jefferson got robbed by Joe Johnson.

As much as i'd like Davis or Goran Dragic in, who in the west would you take out? Kobe for sure. Maybe Dirk?

Either way, Kobe will likely be replaced due to injury, so Davis still has a chance to represent his hometown.

Well the problem is Kobe's position is the Gaurd spot, and i doubt Davis would get playing time over Howard/Aldridge/Blake.

So if i was the new commissioner, I would take out Kobe and put in Dragic or Lawson ( Conley ) if he didn't get injured.

How they didn't get in while Parker's stats are shit compared to theirs is pure biasm.

And yeah Joe Johnson and D-Wade, wtf are they in for.

There is also 4 backcourt players in the reserves unit, plenty to choose from.
Injury replacements go to the most deserving player, they don't have to follow any position restriction.

Parker gets in because the Spurs are second in the west, and he continues to put up solid (18&6, same as Conley) numbers while chugging along the second best team in the west, despite all their age and injuries. He is just very consistent. And if he was left out, the second best team in the west, third best record in the league, wouldn't have an all star rep, and that would be a bit of a travesty. So, I agree with Parker, he hasn't played as well as his last 2 seasons, but he's still had a good year.

Not sure what's worse..this, or the pro bowl. At least with the new format the pro bowl put in, it was competitive.

Wish they'd just have a panel of people select all-star teams for sports. Would be much better than the fans doing it.

Fans handle the starters, and coaches vote for the reserves of their own conference. It's something.

I agree though, the fans rarely get it right.

Is this confirmed?
I knew Lillard and Ross were confirmed, and George and Wall were likely.

Heard a few rumors today about those 6, searched around, couldn't find any official confirmation so I didn't wanna update yet.

Also, Lillard is also going to be in the 3 point shootout, and still may yet compete in the skills contest.
The nba is trying to force him that weekend.
