49ers are struggling and Tennessee's D is playing at an incredible level, that on top of it being in Tennessee.

It's a hard game to pick, but I can see the Titans D forcing enough Kaepernick mistakes to put Fitzpatrick in good enough situations to win the game.

I'ma little bit curious. Are you really a Dolphins fan? I know you live in Tennessee so I'm starting to believe you're a Titans fan in secret. :noworry

Haha, nah. I live in Columbia, Tennessee, so I get to watch their games(thus having more knowledge on them than maybe other fans would...Have to stream the Dolphins game, and when they don't play at the same time, I'll watch the Titans game), but I was born in Florida(St. Augustine, to be exact, so if anything I guess I should have been a Jaguars fan rather than a Dolphins fan, if you want to base fandom off of locations, as Jacksonville is much closer than Miami to St. Augustine, but my father and grandfather both are Dolphins fans, so I guess I kind of just fell in line with them).

A lot more of my focus has been on the Titans this year in comparison to previous years(not because of my location, I've lived here in Columbia for 6 years) because I feel the way they built their team is the right way to go about it. In the trenches and then build outwards. It also obviously helps that I was a huge Jake Locker fan when he was at Washington(I'm a sucker for mobile QBs..dunno why, most of them never pan out in the NFL, but oh well), but the way the Titans wanted to come in and play smash mouth football(though it's not been quite as successful as they had hoped, I guess, with Locker having to step up and be the focal point of the offense) intrigued me. That combined with my original expectations of us coming in and being terrible this season gave me reason to follow them more closely than in the past.

Thankfully we look like we should be a decent team and fight for a wildcard birth, though. First year I've been able to get excited about the Dolphins this early in the season since the 2001 season, lol. Back when I actually thought Wannstedt was gonna be one of the best coaches in the NFL for a long time...dude couldn't even make it as a college HC after his stint with us, lol. 2008 ended up as a solid season, but started off disappointing at 2-4, but won 9 of the last 10.

On top of all this, the Titans were my surprise pick. I have to defend them, they're my only chance at my pre-season predictions looking good. :laugh
