History of the Tremere Clan
The history of the Tremere dates back nearly one thousand years to a time when people were just learning to understand the flow of chakra, and those who could tap it were called magus, not ninja. One group was lead by a man who called himself Primarius. This small group of nine warlocks were paranoid and diluted as they saw the end of chakra, which had no end in sight. The group thus stopped studying chakra, and turned towards true immortality.
In a short amount of time, Primarius thought he had found the secrets of vampirism, and a longer life. In truth, what he had found were groups of people with bloodlines that gave those people abilities that made them seem like the vampires of lore. Fueled by his delusion that he could use these people to achieve immortality, he and the other members of the group became friends with those who held bloodlines and learned how they worked.
The Tremere were still new, and knew next to nothing about how to use their recently acquired abilities. Without this knowledge, the Tremere would face a difficult battle in the years ahead. The world saw these new kindred as blasphemers and usurpers who sold their souls to the Devil. A simple misstep could prove disastrous to a Tremere who did not hide himself effectively enough, especially since they had very limited mastery of their powers. The situation quickly spiraled out of control as the clans they had experimented upon prior to their unlife rallied together to destroy the fledgling Tremere clan. In addition, those clans had rallied the support of many powerful allies, including other groups of ninjas, to hunt down the Tremere.
In order to combat this great threat, the founder and his council began to research new ways of utilizing chakra. From this they developed Thaumaturgy, a means to use the power in their blood to give additional potency to chakra. Knowledge of this new chakra spread throughout the clan like wildfire and it very quickly began to replace the mystic arts as the Lure of Flames was potent indeed. Many say that the founders created even more powerful chakras, but refused to spread this knowledge to the rest of the clan out of fear that it would be abused. This has more truth to it than many rumors as the founders did indeed create a much more potent path of Thaumaturgy known as Bijuu. However, their fear was not that it would be abused, but that younger members could use it against them and destroy the clan. So great was the threat that all resources that showed how to use Bijuu were burned completely.
THE GREAT LAND OF EREBUS AND VAMPIRE GUILDS WITHIN
The Great Land of Erebus, also known as „World of Darkness“. Many countries are forged from the success and perils of the once-proud vampire clan Tremere. The World of Erebus, it is here where your journey begins.
The roots of the Tree burn deep within the earth, and so does their burning passion. Deep within the thickest forest of Erebus lies the scorching dedication and tradition of the Vampires, ready to burn anyone to ashes who dare disturb their peace.
-The Assamites. A predatory guild of assassins with a penchant for Kindred vitae. Also known as the Guild of the Hunt.
From hidden fortresses in the Middle East, the Assamites emerge as the silent stalkers of other Tremere Vampires. Secretive, insular and fanatically loyal to the precepts of their Guild, the Assamites claim to be descendants of Their Lord, who is said to fight against Primarius and his curse. As a result, the Assamites seek to convert or slay other Vampires, attempting to purge the foul curse of Primarius and bring honor to Lord's cause of justice. Needless to say, such pursuits including hunting other Vampires for blood, and engaging strong Vampires in attempts to strengthen their clan and their closeness to Lord are not popular with the other Clans.
Beyond the new countries lies lands that emit no sound but wind roars and distant beast howls. They're lands of ruin, mishap and death. Dark almost all day. For that, and for that it has no treasures to collect, no body steps in it. Past its shores by a reasonable distance lies islands that none know of and are yet undiscovered.
- The Lasombra. The rulers and creators of the Arkham who control the substance of shadows. Also known as the Clan of Night or the Keepers.
Master manipulators, influence brokers and scions of hidden power. The Lasombra, as much a family as a guild, exercised their influence over the Church and nobility of the Dark Ages, turning mortal rulers to their whims and bending entire societies to their service. Underneath, they study hideous Necromancy, engage in debauched rituals and wallow in the excessive wealth of an immortal family.
Terminating the world to the extreme south, this country is an aggregate of many connected islands with bamboo jungles, waterfalls and bays. The Water's most knowledgeable trait is its many vivid harbors and the ferries that connect it with close-by countries.
- The Toreador. A guild of artists and aesthetes who seek beauty in the darkness of the unlife. Also known as Degenerates.
Artists, dilettantes and degenerates make up the ranks of the Toreador guild, a lineage ensconced in sensuality and experience. Whether patronizing or creating works of their own, these vampires are rarely far and beauty. Ultimately, though, whether for aesthetics the arts from the pleasures of expression or indulgence, it is beauty that carries the members of this clan. Like all true artists, they search for a truth beyond an existence they fear to be meaningless. It is that struggle for truth, and ultimately salvation, that has inspired them with what they consider to be their mission - protectors of the genius of the human race. They are truly in love with the vigor and passion of the mortals, and never tire of marveling at their creations.
Dominating Erebus's entire east, an endless desert of sand dunes, orange plateaus and canyons. Doton country has many rocky towns and cities located nearest to the ocean, mostly specialized in making poisonous weapons and thief tools. The desert also has many stops and oases where many ambushes might occur.
- The Setites. The worshipers of a long dead God who are noted for their ability to corrupt. Also known as the Guild of the Serpent or Sand-Snakes. Can also summon Samael, which is mightily awesome.
The desert sands of Doton Country hold many secrets long buried, some best left undisturbed. Claiming literal descent from the dark Mythological God Set, the Setites hoard the secrets of their lost civilizations. According to the Setites, Set himself will rise -soon- and he will reward his faithful while plunging the world into eternal night. Organized more like a cult than a Guild, the Followers eagerly search for the mystic means to rouse Set, while they simultaneously spin webs of deceit and fixation to sway others to their service. Needless to say, the Setites are regarded with wariness at best and horror at worst.
Primarius took the moniker of Tremere after creating the clan, and his true name has long been forgotten by everyone, himself included. It has been a little under a millennia since he first joined the kindred, so Tremere does not see much of the world. He spends most of his time sleeping and hiding away from the world. At least, this is the most popular story among the rest of the Tremere clan. It is entirely possible that the founder could be dead, as it is unnecessary for him to give orders with the hierarchy he had set up.
Rumors constantly flow about this man among the lesser Tremere. Many say that this tall foreboding undead can see everything that happens within the clan, and that he remembers it all as well. The specifics about how this is done vary considerably. Some say that he has a spies and scouts interwoven into the clan who report to him through the chain of command. Others say that he uses chakra to see and hear through the eyes and ears of the seven inner councilmen who make up the highest rank underneath Tremere himself. Still others say that he even possesses the bodies of the councilmen and acts in their stead.
The Tremere created a pyramid like hierarchy. The clan can only be sustained if everyone works together, and even at the lowest rank, an out of place block can weaken the entire structure. Respect for the structure is expected to be maintained at all times, and the clan is quick to punish those who behave to weaken the structure.
An apprentice is sometimes called a neonate, and are the lowest blocks in the pyramid. A newly created apprentice is forced to drink the blood of his sire. The new vampire should be immediately taken to a temple and given a special mixture of vitae that is said to be comprised of the blood of the seven inner council members, as well as that of Tremere himself. This ritual symbolizes the bond between the apprentice and his sire, as well as his loyalty to the clan. The apprentice is bound to follow the mandate of their Acolyte, the head of the temple they were inducted into. This temple is normally the one located closest to the new member's home. All apprentices are expected to show respect towards any magi of higher rank or circle, and are quickly educated if they do otherwise.
As all ranks, the apprentice rank has seven Circles of Mystery. As they progress, they gain more freedom and influence. As a first circle apprentice, one is required to meet with his or her elder in the temple once a week. Seventh circle apprentices are more or less independent. At the seventh circle, those who dwell mainly within the temple have nearly as much influence as the Acolyte himself.
An apprentice who has reached the seventh Circle of Mystery can apply to become a Acolyte. A Acolyte is one who rules over a single temple. They are responsible for the activities of all apprentices who are within its province, or the area surrounding the temple. Each hidden village has two temples, and hundreds more lie all throughout the world. A Acolyte is required to meet once a year with their Lord at the Lord's Temple.
A Acolyte who has reached the seventh Circle of Mystery can apply to become a Lord. A lord is sometimes referred to as a High Acolyte, as they control about a half dozen temples in a general area referred to as a Realm. Each country contains about 8 Realms, each ruled by a Lord. While a Lord is very frequently in contact with his or her superior, a Lord is required to meet with the Councilor every three years at the Councilor's temple.
The Inner Council of Seven is made up of the oldest vampires. Among them are seven of the original eight that Tremere embraced. These do not rule individual areas, but instead control the whole of the clan as a council. These seven are responsible for pointing the direction the clan will take, and drafting the exact plans that will guide the clan to that goal. There is a rumor that each member of the council is in constant telepathic communication with the other members, but this is unknown. The Inner Council of Seven formally meets every ten years in the ancient Tremere chantry of Etrius, located in one of the least populated areas of Konoha.
CIRCLE OF MYSTERY
It consists of a few Paths which each Tremere member have to Master in order to earn higher position in Hierarchy. Each rank in hierarchy got different tasks.
1. You have to fill "Application Format" which is right bellow and to post it on Tremere Clan Main Thread.
2. By looking at "Application Format", you will need to earn approval from Founder and Councilors to take participation in promotion.
3. Tests will be given and done through PMs. Participant starts with "Path of the Blood" and ends with "Path of the Body".
Path of the Blood (Ninjutsu)
The Path of Blood is the most common path of learning and mastering. It takes what's earned during "Embrace Ritual" and expands it to control the raw power of the blood more efficiently. Tremere who follow this path make good generalists, as what is learned can apply to nearly everything.
Path of the Mind (Genjutsu)
The Path of the Mind is for Tremere who have a greater craving for knowledge. Path of the mind allows one to steal the memories of another. With much training, one can even learn to implant memories.
Path of the Body (Taijutsu)
The Path of the Body is for Tremere who have a stronger connection with the inner "Demon" than most. By sacrificing time learning to utilize the power of their blood, these Tremere take time learning to siphon the power of the "Demon" to enhance their own bodies. Tremere who follow the Path of the Body tend to make better fighters as modifications to the body generally enhance only physical traits.

The Tremere are a secluded clan who seem to exist simply to further the bonds between the rest of the clan, and to study everything they can relating to manipulation. Manipulation of the mind, the energies (what they call chakra), and even manipulation of the self. By studying all these methods of manipulation, the Tremere act as a group to influence others to create a change in the world. This change doesn't have to be big, and they rarely are. The Tremere like to influence the direction that technology is advancing, or even mathematical and scientific theories.
The Path to become the Tremere
The first part of the process is to post your application on this thread. Here are some things to keep in mind while filling out the application:
- Make it understandable
- Fill out all applicable questions. If you do not, you are in high risk of being automatically rejected or even...ignored.

After posting your application, it will be overlooked by a Tremere Leader and Councilor members. If they feel that you meet their initial standards, they will accept you for further evaluation. Than you will receive a PM from Tremere Leader himself or from one of Tremere Councilors. There might be a few more questions, if it's necessary, that you MUST answer completely or you will get rejection.
One joins through a process called Embracing. This is a crude and often painful method of blood transfusions. During the embracing process, the new member's blood is mixed with that of his sire and of the Council. This new blood is what actually gives the clan members their power. This process is going to be done through Private Battle.
