Ok so I notice that certain characters produce more chakara of a certain kind than others. This cannot be random because it is a pattern maybe not in the sense that it always occurs but happens to go that way majority of the time.

Now my theory is that the length of names gives certain chakara. I believe it is slightly random but I feel that the numbered of letters in a name produces a certain result. I have had this theory for a while and would finally like to have this tested. If you are interested in helping me test this please send me a PM. I will give you the details in a PM.

First of all u r using the wrong section.

And ur idea is a bad idea. (sorry to say)
Reason is what if some has 2 letters? or if it has 5 letters for all three chars. The charkra will be messed. You could use any skill every turn. I dont know why u like that idea. Or am I looking at it the wrong way.

My theory is based on the placement of characters. Ex: Placing Lee first(on top) will grant you more tai, Zaku will grant you more blood. Ino will grant you more gen etc....

No, you are seeing it a different way. I believe it cycles through 5 chakara, random is included in it. Also depending on the positioning of the characters decides the chakara given.

I can almost guarantee that the chakra system is random as far as character selection is concerned. When programming its so simple to create pseudo-random numbers using things like pi or the weather or the time of day or hell any number of things. So there is absolutely no reason why anyone in the first place would program it to be affected by whats happening in game.

However since the game(as far as i can tell) is not programmed that well, some numbers might influence each other and get crossed, causing the correlation between the stated theories(ex: Character placement/ Number of letters). I do not think his theory is stupid at all, and since we have lazy programmers, i seriously doubt they would double check for the game to avoid any crossing between the numbers or one influencing the other, or even some parts of the program using same numbers as the character image/ skill effects(damage and such)

this guy is right. they probably use math.random to generate chakra or pi to generate chakra

Random is only random because we haven't found out a pattern yet. Random is a false word because programming something requires a set point. Even making pi a set point still triggers a pattern. A computer can't calculate all of pi so therefore it is as human as the programmer.

You aren't very experienced with programming are you? That isn't really how things work.

nothing is random, everthing has a cause.

i'm going with placement of characters theory

Example is try using in this order Chouza (s), Kakashi, IBD. I guarantee you get Bloodline first 85% of the time . Then the next turn you get 2 gen and 1 tai or 1 gen, 1 tai, and 1 nin. But then what causes that 85% is the random chakara that certain characters give.
