As the rolling fog sweeps through the night, you notice that the sky always seems to be covered with fog around this time of the year. However, something that is far more sinister was emerging through the twilight. An evil that is so powerful is finally starting to materialize on Halloween. If left alone, this evil would manipulate man to destroy society as we know it.

As you walk through the darkness that manages to pervade through every one of your senses, you suddenly realize that you are not alone in this ordeal in fighting this unknown evil. The number of people in the tournament have also been cruelly connected by the same fate. The objective? Make it out, alive. The only problem is that destiny has ruled that only one can. Will it be you?

1. You will have 6 days to complete your matches each round unless otherwise stated.
2. Do not use the same team twice (change at least 2 characters) nor discuss your opponent's team.
3. If your opponent does not follow his/her Trick or Treat, you may give a rematch or if you decide to take the win, provide a screenshot as proof.
4. In the case of a glitch, bug, or disconnection, the "winner" decides whether or not to give a rematch.
5. If there are unfinished matches, both players will be disqualified unless you PM proof to a NHQ moderator that:
-----You PMed your opponent but received no response (screenshot your outbox/inbox); or
-----Your opponent is inactive (screenshot opponent's profile)
6. Beware of surprises throughout the tournament!
7. All Naruto-Boards forum rules apply.

Registration will take place over 3 days or until all 128 spots are filled, whichever comes first.
You must post with the account you will be playing with.
The first 128 members to correctly register will be accepted into the tournament.
We will try to match you with those closest to your timezone.

There are 6 Trick or Treats (ToT) to choose from, which determines the characters you may use to form your teams. Characters for each ToT will be revealed at the start of each round, and you may only use the characters shown in your ToT selection. It is preferred that you have 100+ characters unlocked, as it affects your ability in creating teams within your ToT.

The 2 numbers you choose when registering determine the ToT you will use.

We worked long and hard on this tournament to bring you, the members of NB, a tournament with the feedback you gave us from this topic. So we hope you all enjoy and have fun in the tournament. Remember to keep your eye out for suprises along the way!

Reminder!

For all future questions, please remember to PM an NHQ moderator. Do not post anymore questions about the tournament here, as it will be quite hectic when we update the match-ups to have to search through questions and answers to find who completed their matches.

We will be updating the Q&A section on the first page for every question that is asked via PM's, so look there for an answer to your question before PMing us. Thank you for your understanding!

1. What is ToT?
- ToT stands for Trick or Treat. There are 6 altogether. For example, 1. icwhtudidthr is our 1st ToT and 2. ismirk is our 2nd ToT followed by the rest. Refer to post #2 for details explanation.

2. What is PA?
- PA stands for Poison Apple. It consists of either weak or underused characters. You may not like it but that serves its purpose - You got tricked! or not. We will declare PA for each draw. 1st draw has been revealed which is ToT number 3 - 3. iherduliekcat as PA.

3. What are 1st draw and 2nd draw?
- 1st draw is the first ToT number you picked during registration and 2nd draw is for the second ToT number. You have to stick with your ToT for certain rounds as shown below and can only use characters listed in your ToT.

1st draw and 2nd draw wrote:

BUBBLECHEWs (-6) - 3, 4

1st draw: ToT number 3 (Rounds 1 & 2)
2nd draw: ToT number 4 (Round 3, 4 & 5 - Only applicable if you survive until round 3)

4. How are characters assigned to each ToT?
- It's random; each ToT will have characters that use Taijutsu (green), Bloodline (red), Ninjutsu (blue), and Genjutsu (white) chakra.

5. When are characters assigned to each ToT for 1st draw and 2nd draw?
- We have prepared them before the registration started and it's just a matter of time before revealing 2nd draw (wait for round 3).

6. How many characters are in each ToT?
Each ToT consists of 21 characters. However, the three newest characters (ET Pakura S, ET Ginkaku S, ET Ameyuri S) are banned from the tournament and will not be in any ToT.

7. Do we have to use our selected ToTs in all our matches?
- Yes, you need to stick with your selected ToTs (2 numbers you picked during registration) in all matches. Refer to 3rd question on which ToT you need to use for certain rounds.

8. Is there any way that we could change our ToTs?
- At the moment, no. You have to stick with them for all matches. Hmm...We may or may not have this kind of reward but let's just wait for more surprises. :3

9. What is reward?
- It's a small reward from us to give you more advantage in the next round. Only those who play their matches are entitled to this reward. Auto-win for any reason without playing will be excluded. We may or may not give reward in each round but let's just wait for surprises. :3

10. What can I do with the reward?
- For 1st round, we offer it to the first 32 players who complete their match and they may use one character not in their ToT in the next round. We do not limit that one character so you may use any ONE character not in your ToT for that round as long as it's not the three newest characters and not repeating TWO same characters.

Example

Round 2 (2/3) - 1st ToT (Assuming you get rewarded in round 1)
- Zabuza, Kidoumaru, Tayuya (Win) - Tayuya is not in the ToT
- Sakon, Kabuto (S), Baki (Lose) - Baki is not in the ToT
- Sakon, Konan (S), Itachi (S) (Win) - Konan (S) is not in the ToT

11. How do I know if I get rewarded?
- We will list down those who get rewarded in the next round. It's advised that you do your match as soon as possible to ensure you get the reward.

Reward: They may use one character not in their ToT, which basically means they are only required to use 2 characters in their ToT each game. However, keep in mind ET Pakura S, ET Ginkaku S, ET Ameyuri S are banned from the tournament.

12. Could you please explain more on Round 3 (group)?
- In this round, you will battle as a team and you may change your team's name with 15 characters limit.

What is the format?
- We are using Last Man Standing (LMS) format which is often used in wars. You can battle anyone from your opponent team until they are all eliminated as long as you both have not lost a match. Eliminated players will be marked with an "X."

How do we play with 3 players?
- This question is meant for the last group. You must choose one member to be eliminated twice to fill the place of a fourth member. We want to give them the same chance as other groups with 4 members. Discuss with your team members and PM littlehinata on your team's decision so we can update the bracket.

How to qualify to the next round?
- Your team needs 4 wins to qualify to the next round. As long as you are in the team with 4 wins, you will advance even if you lost a match. However, for teams with 3 or less wins, we will decide who advances.

Additional Info
- Since we need 16 players to move to round 4, even if all the teams advance with 4 wins, we don't have enough players. Therefore, 1 player may be "resurrected" from any losing team based on individual performance. However, this is not guaranteed and Round 4 might be skipped depending on how many matches are done. In the case of unfinished matches, PM proof must be sent within 24 hours before the end of the round.
