I really like this anime, but they are skipping too much if you ask me, like a week before last episode he was level 48, and in this last episode he is level 72, wtf.

Still I love it, story is really good, and I can see a lot of potential in it.

They actually added that part in - in the manga it goes straight from Day 1 to 2 years in the future when's he's already like god-tier.

The manga isn't even the original source.

Did A-1 skipped content? yes they did but it's only normal because SAO is a light novel and light novel adaptations always end up being mediocre because theres a lot of stuff that they don't have time to animate.

Well even though i don't like SAO i have to say that the animation its pretty neat.

Wow isn't it too early for something like that?

We are just 5 episodes in the anime and btw I didn't even know that there is something like that in SAO, but if you read the light novel, you know the best. :D

I honestly found the last episode really boring, though it does signify the first time there was an episode that sets up the next episode (instead of jumping forward heavily)

I Completely Agree. But it was almost a nice change of things. Because now the story can lengthen out for a bit instead of being jumpy and fast.

Woah really? I might look for it, I'm liking the storyline so far.

Yeah I found the last episode a bit boring too, but I agree the next one should be better.

Spoiler
My theory is that the weapons are launched from outside the safe zones? We'll see.
