The anime isn't over yet. Only 12 episodes at the moment.
The anime is already over.
Son, you ARE one year younger than me in NB Age, but I didn't think you'd be THAT ignorant of what's happening to Deadman Wonderland. Are you?
Let me tell you this much: If a manga becomes an anime, it means that either the series is still on-going and it's at a far enough point to where they can make the anime, or it's finished and it's ready for anime, correct?
If an anime reaches America AND The Manga is not finished, Not to mention on that fact, the Anime is getting good results in America and so is the Manga, Odds are, they will continue that Anime into the next act of where the Manga/Anime Point is at.
Long Story Short: Deadman Wonderland isn't even finished. The English Dub Kicks Ass. There's gonna be another season for Japan, and then America as well. End. Of. Discussion.

=================================================
Can I just say that the English Dub officially kicks major butt! I never thought I'd actually see a English Dub that improved better than the English Sub. And we're only 2 Episodes In! Reason why I say this:
There is an EPIC Difference in what Ganta says in English Dub than what he says in Sub on Episode 2 when he resolves to survive Deadman Wonderland. And that personally made me salute Toonami when I heard Ganta said the prison could suck it!
Manglobe won't be making a second season of deadman wonderland because:
1.- they gave deadman wonderland an original ending, this already happened to claymore in 2007 and we still don't have a second season of claymore because of that.
2.- The ANIME didnt sell well, this already happened to a still ongoing manga called The world god only knows that sells more than DW, the anime didnt sell well and then they picked up DW.
3.- It doesnt matter how well the anime or the manga is doing in america because they don't give a shit about what people outside japan think, if they did we would be getting more seasons of stuff like Full metal panic or Claymore.
Do you really want a seacond season of DW after how bad they butchered the manga?
Wow, you are so incorrect in ALL of what you're saying, it's not even funny. It's rather sad, so sad I should play you a song on the world's smallest violin.
1A: Manglobe, or whatever you're calling it, doesn't even OWN Deadman Wonderland anymore! If you HAVE been watching the English Dub, it's run by FUNimation now. And FUNimation can do the second season instead. In fact, if you've been keeping up on FUNimation news the past year, Manglobe only owns the Manga now. FUNimation owns every aspect of the Anime Version. Google "Deadman Wonderland DVD" and you'll find a FUNimation topic along the way. Suggest you read it. And even though they own the First Season Rights, if it goes well in America, like it should (Because frankly, Deadman Wonderland is MUCH better as an Anime than a Manga, just my opinion) then we may see Season 2 Rights for FUNimation (Wow, been saying their name a lot, haven't I?)
2A. If you've even watched the Anime (Which I highly doubt you did considering what you've said), The Finale was OPEN ENDING. Just like how Deadman Wonderland Manga was an open chapter after the fight with the Undertakers. People even added on to the fact, that The Anime was based on Volume 1- Chapter 1 thru Volume 5- Chapter 21. And you're saying they butchered it because they didn't add a Drag Queen Shemale?!
What planet are you from that you don't understand the human train of thought when watching Anime and what people would rather see??? If I have to explain THAT to you, I will, but you will have officially EPIC FAILED if I have to.
3A: If we're going by Anime not selling well enough in Japan for another season, then the Gundam Franchise should have never existed.
EVER. (And if you don't know why, you don't deserve to call yourself a TRUE Anime Fan.) As for America, I've been noticing that people have been starting to buy it like hotcakes where I live, I can barely read a free copy of the volumes anymore when I go to my bookstores. And yes, many anime haven't been selling well. Do you know why? Because the big men in Anime Production have decided to make whole seasons in one box set instead of doing it one disc at a time now.
3A Continued: Do you really think ANYONE Wants to buy a Whole Series anymore?! That's like, $20 thru $100+ Dollars! And if you notice that the anime is bad, your hard earned money is spent down the drain! Here's some evidence for why The World God Only Knows Selled So Badly:
The Complete Collection (And Please Note, That's all there is, no seperate discs from volumes, just the complete series) is $35 Cheapest. $54 For Most Expensive I could currently search for. And you're going to ask why it didn't sell so well? Yu Yu Hakusho has each season for $20 Brand New. Cheaper if it's used where I am. And people have bought that easily. TWGOK played high robbey, plain and simple, and they payed for it.
Not only that, but only the Best of the Best Anime can have those prices for seasons and expect to sell, but nowadays, even the Best of the Best Anime aren't selling as well as they did in the past, and that's because everyone's jumping the "Season Collection Box Set" Wagon and asking for ridiculous prices from a struggling economic situation that is America. That's why many people just go to Anime Sites and watch them for free, or download them for free, or have connections to bootleg them for a price. Eitherway, thanks to Greedy Japan, people have found much easier methods to watch anime without having to shell out so much money.
And since WHEN was Deadman Wonderland available for DVD in America??? FUNimation said it would be out sometime in 2012, but if it's out now, I didn't know, because no one has it available where I am in Oklahoma. And if we don't have it in English Dub, then no one does yet. Maybe you're talking about the Japanese DVD Set. Eitherway, we'll have to wait and see how it does.
4A: I quote you again, just because of THIS:

Oh The Inhumanity! Oh the Political Incorrectness!
Once again: Gundam Franchise. Enough Said. But if you still haven't figured out why I keep saying it, I'll give it a long story short: The very first Gundam Series BLOWED EPIC FAIL in Japan when it was first released. Then, America watched, America loved it, Japan was surprised, gave it another chance, and it became a Juggernaut in Anime History. And I wouldn't be too sure if I were you on Claymore. Full Metal Panic had enough seasons frankly, we don't need more, but Claymore, and many others may see a return in the future, and do you know why?
4A Continued: Look at Anime these days. Look at the newer ones coming out. Most of them utterly SUCK, with a capital bolded
"S". A Friend who knows FAR more about anime than I do and devotes a good majority of his money to the viewing of anime has seen a LOT of what has came out this year, some I even saw with his consideration, and many of them have been dissappointing. Some, because they're Shojo, and boys and men normally don't like Shojo. Others, they tried too hard. And those who don't fall under these categories just failed. And Japan's starting to realize something. They're not as powerful as they once were back in the 90's and early 00 Era. And it's only a matter of time before we start seeing ressurections popping out of the woodwork.
Just Watch. Because Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, And One Piece have to come to an end at one point, and we're looking at what might be the end now. Only a matter of time.

DAMN! SON!
Now THAT, Is a Text Wall Of Justice!
Read that before commenting, thank you.
And I haven't noticed any huge butcher marks on the Anime/Manga Semblance, but hey, to each their own eyes that wander into nerdy hawk-ness.
