Ok, before we start, I've switched Hirozumi and Maya's ages, making Maya 16 and Hirozumi 17.
Alright.......
Trick 4-Team Territory
Later that night, Kara had dinner ready and set on the hot stone. Maya and Kai both came downstairs for dinner. During it...........
Kai: *uses his chopsticks to reach for a piece of steak* Maya......ya mind if I ask you somethin'?
Maya: Depends. What is it?
Kai: You said your a storm rider, right? *puts the steak on his plate*
Maya: Did I studder?
Kai: You got a team?
Maya: I'm not the leader of team, if that's what you mean. Although, I am on a team.
Kai: Must be pretty low-rate, seeing that they let you in, huh? *reaches for another steak*
Maya: *puts her chopsticks on the same steak*
Kai: *small gasp* Urgh......
Maya: Alright, Kai. Just move the sticks, and I wont pound your face in, alright?!
Kai: Hell no! This is the best piece on the entire entray, I'm not letting this thing go for NOTHIN'!
Maya: *sighs* I guess I've been pretty mean to you lately, havent I? Alright, you can have it!
Kai: Really?
Maya: No lie!
Kai: Hell yeah! I've finally won against you......now gimme my meat, woman!
Maya: *snatches the meat up and throws it in Kai's face, burning him*
Kai: *yells in pain* ARGH!!!!! *falls back*
Kara: *sighs* The two of you, its just a nonstop party!
Maya: Now, if you really want to know, the Storm Rider team I'm on just happens to be C class! We're really getting up there in the ranks, higher than your sorry ass would ever be able to!
Kai: *anime tears pouring from his eyes* You bitch.....I should kick your ass for that!
Maya: Please, I really dont think you should waste any of your energy tonight, your gonna need all of it for tomorrow.
Kai: What?
Maya: *giggles* Nothing! Just wait 'till tomorrow, 'kay?! *winks*
Kai: Yeah, whatever, as long as I get my AT's.
Maya: I still dont know how your gonna get the money.
Kai: I've got a couple of plans. *devilish smile*
The next day, school was out for the weekend. Kai woke up early and walked down the streets of the city to meet up with his best friend, Toriko Haminara, to tell him about the Air Trek business. The two of them met around noon, at the fountain from before.
Kai: *waving* Yo! Toriko!
Toriko: *listening to an MP3, he removes his earphones* Yo, Kai! What the hell took you so long?! 'Been waitin' here for half an hour!
Kai: Long story short, I had to raise some cash.
Toriko: Hmm........you sure about this entire Air Trek deal? I've heard that the lives of Storm Riders are pretty damn tough, according to a couple of friends of mine.
Kai: No doubt, it'd be pretty damn stupid to back down after I worked all morning for the cash. *pulls out a wad of money from his pocket*
Toriko: Woah........where the hell'd you get that?!
Kai: Ya know, you'd be suprised at how much women at a hair salon downtown pay to see me dance with my shirt off. *rolls eyes*
Toriko: No joke? Maybe I should give that a try?
Kai: *walks by Toriko* Like hell, you'll never have abs like these.
Toriko: Shut up! *follows behind Kai*
They walk down the streets, seeing Storm Riders skating down the streets. Thoughts rushed through Kai's head, knowing that he would soon be one of them. He looked at the address on the piece of paper Maya gave him the night before.
Toriko: Dude, ya know what your doing?
Kai: Yeah, I'm pretty sure. Maya and I may not get along all that well, but she doesnt hate me enough to trick me like this......although, she did say somethin' about "coming back alive" and all that.
Toriko: Maya? Dude, the purple-haired one?
Kai: Yeah, that's the one.
Toriko: Good lord, we both know how sexy she is! You gotta get that, man! No joke!
Kai: Maya?
Toriko: And if that doesnt work, then there's always Kara, she's pretty cute too. Let's face it, you live with two hot girls, you've gotta get one of them sooner or later!
Kai: Dude, you dont even know them! If you see the way that Maya treats me at home, its as if SHE runs the house, when we both know I'M THE MAN!
Toriko: We do? You sure?
Kai: And Kara, well.....she may not act this way in public, but whenever Maya and I get to arguin', which happens just about every time we see each other, she always acts like the most mature one of us, even though Maya and I are both a year older than her.
Toriko: Who cares? There cute, their yours, I'M JEALOUS.
Kai: Let's see you live with them for a week, see how you feel!
Toriko: I would gladly take your spot in life, ANY DAY!
Kai: Shut it, alright? Here's the shop......*looks up at the sign* Kimoto Storm Rider Shop.........
Toriko: Hmm, its like this thing has been here all along, but we've never noticed it.......
Kai: Yeah.......anyway, looks like there open. Let's hurry, get in, get out, and start tearin' up the streets. *walks into the shop, followed by Toriko*
The entire shop was filled with racks upon racks of AT's and safety gear for Storm Riders. From helmets, to pads, body weights, and a dozens of different AT types. Kai and Toriko stared in awe.
Shop Owner: So, you gonna buy somethin'? Or are you just spectators?
Kai: Huh?
Shop Owner: Buying?
Kai: Oh yeah! I got the cash, no worries. I'm just.....searching for that special pair, ya know? *checks out a pair* Toriko, you've got your cash, dont ya?
Toriko: Hell no.
Kai: Figured, that's why I gave a lap dance at the salon. *passes cash to Toriko* Buy cheap, though.
Toriko: Nice! I'll start searching around.
Shop Owner: *chuckles* Yall dont look too bright, buy you must be pretty damn brave to come around this shop.
Kai: Well, why's that?
Shop Owner: Your tellin' me you dont know? This is Shadowlurk territory.
Kai: Shadowlurk?
Shop Owner: An F class Storm Rider team, they've completely taken this territory over by force. Do you see how amazing this shop is? Dont you think that I'd be sold out by now if it was open completely to the public?
Kai: True.....but, why dont higher ranked Storm Riders just take the territory back?
Shop Owner: Their all "sponsored" and such, so they dont really need a place like this.
Toriko: So, your saying we should probably high-tail it outta here?
Shop Owner: That'd be what any smart person would do.
Toriko: In that case, Kai, I go, you stay. *begins to walk out*
Kai: *grabs Toriko by the collar* Pussy. *sighs* We'll be fine, dont worry.
Shop Owner: I cant help but worry, counting on the fact that here they come. *points out of the shop, a large shadow begins to creep toward it*
Out of it, a group of 4 people, all wearing black cloaks and lead by a large figure hiding in the shadows, enters the shop.
Man: Takamaru, you adjusted my new Treks, right?
Takamaru: No worries, Kraven, their all ready. *hands a pair of AT's from the bottom of the shelf to the man*
Kai: *turns to the Shop Owner* So, your name's Takamaru?
Kraven: What the hell? There's somebody else in my territory?
Takamaru: Please, just leave these two alone. Their noobs in the world of AT, the had no idea until I told them about it a few minutes ago.
Kraven: Well, if they had half the brain, they'd get the hell out of my territory!
Kai: Back of, bitch! I aint goin' nowhere....not until I've picked up myself a pair of AT's!
Toriko: Oh, yeah, we're dead now.
Kraven: *looks at Kai, top-down* You act like you've got the skills to back up those words, kid.
Kai: Huh?
Kraven: Ya know what, I'll let you get your AT's.........and we're gonna have a little race. This is how I tend to figure out my disagreements. You up for it?
Toriko: That's bullshit! Kai's never even touched AT's before, now your challenging him to a r.....
Kai: I accept.
Kraven: Oooo, so we've got a brave guy on our hands?
Kai: I'm not backin' down from yo' ugly ass, if that's what you mean. *devilish smile*
Kraven: Alright then! It's gonna be a 2 on 1 race to the Local Mall! Let's see if you can back up your potty mouth! And here's a deal....*turns to Takamaru* Taka, mind if we borrow a pair?
Takamaru: Hey, this is your territory.
Kraven: Alright then, you can use a pair of AT's in this shop. If you can win against me and one of my members, we'll let you take the AT's AND the territory!
Kai: Hello? No team here.
Kraven: Oh, yeah....well, we'll let you take as many AT's from the shop as you like, and the territory goes free!
Kai: *puts his hand forward* Alright then, I accept.
Kraven: *pounds fists* Alright, meet you outside. *walks away*
Takamaru: Stick it to'em, kid. I'm ready to get my shop back in business!
Kai: No worries. *grabs a pair of AT's and inspects them* Yes.......these ones, they look perfect. *devilish smile*
