Help for people new to sig making

#1 If you have any other resources, PMing them to be would be much appreciated ^^ Programs Programs used to make sigs. Photoshop (Free trial only, you have to buy it for full copy) GIMP Paint.Net PhotoImpression (Not free) Paint Shop Pro (Not free) Paint Renders Renders are pictures without backgrounds. Also known as cuts. They are used as the main points of the signatures, such as characters from shows and anime. Planet Renders (requires sign-up) Game Renders (Requires sign-up) PSDProtocol Recommended: N/A Fonts The different looks for texts. To install them, add the font file into /WINDOWS/Fonts. Da Font Recommended: Eurostile, CAC valiant, Sell Your Soul. Brushes Can be used to smudge or used for backgrounds. To install brushes, go to where you installed Photoshop, and go into Adobe/Photoshop/Presets/Brushes and add the .abr file there. DeviantArt Photoshop Brushes DeviantArt GIMP Brushes Recommended: D118, Metal CX brushes, Ghost Abstract brushes (All PS). My Photoshop Brushes (credit to Hinduragi) Tutorials These are step by step guides to help you with GFX. Planet Render tutorials Anime Render Tuts (requires sign-up) Dutchdesginz Tuts (GIMP Only) GIMP Talk Recommended: N/A Stock Images Images with backgrounds/ordinary pictures. that can used for various purposes such as backgrounds, focals or special effects.
