Cynical Angel...

#1 Engart posting his story here made me think that I should post the poem I made too... This was previously posted in the Jinmirai Meibatsu clan thread... That time I was feeling depressed and wished to convey a message to someone there... It's a short, free versed poem... and a bit emo... Anyway... enjoy The angel seeks to find her fallen; That he may carry her from her abysmal prison She hopes to see his wings spread That they may fly away, together... Yet she despairs, for she sees his heart Encased in ice, never to be thawed She prays for mercy, for a chance To banish his hidden coldness... She beseeches the heavens That she be allowed To experience the gift that Eros brings From Eros, to her fallen, to her... EDIT: In case some of you don't know... Not all poems rhyme... This is free-verse... It doesn't follow any rhyme pattern... It doesn't have any iambic or pentatonic meter, etc...
