I. Rules and Guidelines
1. No Spamming
2. No flaming
3. No racism or otherwise prejudice actions. This includes posts, pictures, etc.
4. No harassing other members, moderators, etc.
5. Do not double post or post multiple times in a row. See "The Amazing Edit Button" section.
6. Do not flood the forums by posting tons of times in a row(usually pages long). This includes in the Spam Kingdom. Flooding will get you a much longer ban than multi-posting.
7. Do not exceed the signature size limit of 580x200 pixels.

8. No linking to sexually explicit websites.
9. Do not post pornographic(including hentai) images or use them in your avatar/signature. Nudity, sexual activity, or an inappropriate level of bared skin is not allowed.
10. Do not link to warez or make any illegal transactions on the forums.
11. No excessive swearing/cussing.
12. Do not interfere with special events such as tournaments or other competitions. See the definitions section for more details.
13. No account scamming. Believe us, we will catch you. If you have been scammed, immediately PM a moderator with any information/proof that you have. We will try to catch the scammer and may get your account back. However, if you have just lost your password, we cannot help you.
14. Do not impersonate a member, a moderator, or any other member of the staff
15. Using somebody else's original avatar or signature, even if edited slightly, is not allowed.
16. Do not publicly discuss the moderators or their actions unless given permission to do so.
17. All technical support questions go in the Village Hall section. DO NOT PM THE ADMINS ABOUT IT!
18. Do not advertise competing products and/or services.
19. Absolutely no back seat modding. It is just plain annoying and will not be tolerated. We moderators can do our jobs just fine without members acting like they have authority.
20. Do not evade your bans. When you are banned, you are banned, and that is that. Don't feel afraid to discuss the ban with the moderators through PMs though.
21. Do not share classified information! If you know a secret, keep it to yourself. We don't need information to leak and spread to everyone. This goes for the moderators too!
These rules apply everywhere on Naruto-Boards, including the private message system, unless noted otherwise!
Note: The punishment received for breaking the rules is at the moderators' discretion. You may be banned for a longer time for repeated and/or more severe offenses. While a single moderator can ban someone for 24 hours without votes, three votes are needed for any ban longer than that. Global moderators can ban without this limitation. Keep in mind that what you do on Naruto-Boards can in fact effect your account on Naruto-Arena.
II. Important Definitions/Interpretations
In this section, certain words and phrases used throughout the rules will be defined and/or interpreted. This is so there is no confusion over what is meant by a certain rule and so the rules cannot be argued.
Spam: A message that is pointless, off-topic, or otherwise lacks content that adds to the discussion.
Double Posting: Posting twice or more times in a row without other people's posts in between. If you want to add something, you should use the edit button.
Flooding: Intentionally posting many times in a short period of time with no useful purpose and an intent to disrupt the forums to the extent that it can no longer be considered double posting. Generally, four or more posts in a row is considered flooding.
Flaming: Any posts meant to offend or hurt any other member in a manner which is offensive and/or insulting. Even calling someone a n00b is considered light flaming.
Harassment: Constantly nagging someone with offensive or negative messages in an attempt to make them feel unhappy or annoyed.
Warez: Illegally copied software that is often associated with pirating.
Ripping: Taking someone else's original artwork, such as signatures and avatars, and claiming them as your own. Even if you slightly edit the image, it is still considered ripped.
Scamming: Attempting to trick or persuade somebody in handing over the password to their account.
Impersonation: Replicating someone's profile and/or name in order to appear to be that person. This also pertains to falsely claiming to be a Moderator/Admin of any "Naruto-Arena" project to try and trick the population.
Event Interference: Performing actions with the intent of causing disruption in events. There are several ways you can commit event interference. The ways to commit event interference are: Joining an event without the intent of participating, searching to private battle a tournament participant without being in the tournament, and spamming or flooding in event threads.
Back Seat Modding: Warning members and/or "punishing" them as if you are a moderator when you aren't actually a moderator. The real moderators can handle their jobs just fine without fakes running around.
Ban Evading: Accessing the forums while you are banned by utilizing proxy servers, creating new accounts, etc.
III. The Amazing Edit Button!
Double posting is against the rules. That is when you post multiple times within a short time period without anyone else posting. The way to fix this is to use The Amazing Edit Button!
The amazing edit button is a blue button located in the top right hand corner of all your posts.

By clicking that button, you can edit and/or add stuff to your post without double posting. To show that you edited your post, you can add the new content after the word "Edit:".

Once you are finished editing your post, click the blue "Edit Reply" button at the bottom.
