Synopsis: Gol D. Roger was known as the Pirate King, the strongest and most infamous being to have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and death of Roger by the World Government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death revealed the location of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was this revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, men who dreamed of finding One Piece (which promises an unlimited amount of riches and fame), and quite possibly the most coveted of titles for the person who found it, the title of the Pirate King.

Enter Monkey D. Luffy, a 17-year-old boy that defies your standard definition of a pirate. Rather than the popular persona of a wicked, hardened, toothless pirate who ransacks villages for fun, Luffy’s reason for being a pirate is one of pure wonder; the thought of an exciting adventure and meeting new and intriguing people, along with finding One Piece, are his reasons of becoming a pirate. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Luffy and his crew travel across the Grand Line, experiencing crazy adventures, unveiling dark mysteries and battling strong enemies, all in order to reach One Piece.

Not the best art, but without a doubt the best story. I love what the time-skip has done, and can't wait to see how the current arc is handled with the crew's new powers.

I love seeing my favorite character in the low percentages.

This manga is not like any other imo, sure its a battle manga & shounen, but the story is so full untold mysteries, it just has no end. Best manga Active imo.

I won't count - I believe the 2nd or 3rd season? It's just not One Piece anymore, Luffy is killing people, Ace died. Nope, 1st season ftw.

It's still just like One Piece! Luffy hasn't killed anyone, and Ace wasn't in One Piece but for like 5 chapters tops before he was sentenced to execution, so it's not like him being dead completely changes what One Piece was founded on....

Anyone read today's chapter yet?

I'm glad Jimbei got trapped. He was kinda pissing me off. Now Luffy can show up and go all BA on Hodi and show Jimbei who the real hero is :)

Ships: Kakashi/Yūgao, Lucy/Natsu, Ichigo/Rukia, Luffy/Robin, Goku/Bulma (Some of em are weird, but I don't care, I'm odd like that :teeth

I like One piece , but I don't like that fishman island arc at all ... they r wasting many chapters for nothing serious

That should be a good one, too, but Luffy's just more BA in my opinion.

Ace dying I think really helps the series. It shows that good people can die without it being a flashback. Which makes it less predictable. I don't think luffy has killed anyone besides arlong(maybe).

I love seeing my favorite character in the low percentages.
