#1 FIRST OF ALL, GO HERE TO SEE CHARACTERS 100% DONE IN PAINT. LEAVE A COMMENT! Ok well you guys/girls who are doing characters in paint are doing it wrong .-. Ok i will start now! How to upload your characters and post them on the Naruto-Boards. First of all, when you finish your character, upload it into Photobucket.com/Imageshack.us/Tinypic.com ect. ect. Then copy the IMG cod and just post it on N-B. ^^ Getting Your Skill Images. You can do this at Photobucket, Google, Or best place: Youtube.com ( Comedykid taught me about Youtube =o I used to use Veoh ^^; ) Just press print screen on the image you want ( Example - Naruto using Shadow Clones ) Then open paint. Press edit and then paste. Not paste from, paste. Ok then press the outlined sqaure, outline the part of the image you want, then right click it and press copy, when that is done press image, and then clear image. Then press edit, then paste. Then you got your skill image! =D. But my guess is that it isn't 75x75 =o No problem, there are many resizing websites. The best one you could go to is Resizepic.com Balancing Your Characters This part is quite hard. Well to balance your characters you have to have the right Chakra Costs and Cooldowns. If your going to have damage 55 and over for 1 specific chakra and 1 random chakra, you really should have some kind of preperation, Same thing with 30 or more damage and a stun. If you have damage like 20 or below with no special effects (Example - Stun, Defence, ect.) then you should make it one specific chakra. Well i am sure you get the point of balancing by now =P Wording Your Characters Well make your character interesting, don't just write "Deals 40 damage to one opponent" Write somehting like this "(Lets just say sakon) Sakon punches rapidly with his fists. This skill deals 40 damage to one opponent." Get it? But for the defence skill just write "Makes Sakon invulnerable for the next round" This is not a must, but it is a should! =P Saving your characters without it being all fuzzy and bad quality. I see ALOT of people doing this.. Well whatever you do, do NOT save your character as a JPG image. This will make it very bad quality. But DO save it as a PNG image. PNG = Great quality! This is how a characters will turn out if it is a JPG image Pretty? I don't think so. This is how it will look if it is a PNG image Pretty? Well hell yes! =o How to get the chakra to the 'Chakra Costs' section This is pretty easy. Use the zoom in object to zoom in to the chakra, then outline it with the square.. Then right click it and press copy. Then next to the 'Chakra Cost' section, press edit and then press paste. There is your chakra! =o Text font and sizes Do not make your text to big or to small. Font for typing the skill names: Arial or Tebuchet MS and make it bold. Text size for the skill names: 12. Text font for the skill effects: Arial. Don't make it bold. Text size for the skill effects: 8. Same thing for the Character name as the Skill name. Btw, just erase what is already there with the Eraser tool. #9 Yeah I especially like the example part between the jpg, and png. But, do you use regular 'ol paint? Or paint.net?
