-We introduce you to one of the first official arena drafts made in N-B! With a grand record of 166,749 page views, we'd like to take the time to thank all the members for supporting the arena and helping this place stand tall through the tough months of inactivity and warnings.

Day 1: May 17th, 2009

-Mirrorforce was simply making a collection of Pokemon characters until Fissp gave him the idea of making it into something bigger, something many people have waited for the longest of times. Mirror had his doubts thinking this was a mere joke, but just to confirm, a poll was made to see the results. 2 months passed and the outcome was overwhelming!

The Results

Seeing how people were fascinated with this idea, a new crew came into play and the arena was taking action. All works and characters were posted in Mirror's Collection topic since no official arena topic was created yet. Everyone was warming up getting used to work they'll be doing in the future.

First Official Draft: June 2nd, 2009 (Click)

-An attempt to make a draft became a failure due to lack of preparation, communication, gfx and organizing. This topic was ignored thus the work continued on Mirror's collection topic until sometime in August, 2009

July ??, 2009

-The loss of a loved admin of Pokemon-Arena lead to some distress and grief. He became perma-banned after ignoring too many mod requests of less spam. Ever since, he left the boards and never came back putting members in a pickle. His name was noobpwner, will always be remembered as an admin and a dear friend

August 5, 2009: (Click)

-Lack of communication came into place when this draft was made however the results were successful finally having a place where all work can be stored for all organizers to access. This was the time when the most motivation took place, characters were made every day and when all members were active

September 2009-January 2010: The Downfall

-A new draft page was expected on October of 2009 but it never came due to laziness and lack of motivation. Workers were still making gfx , characters and such but members started to leave and some became too inactive. This was the time of stand-still where nothing new arrived, all was the same.

March 2010: The Deathwalk

-The moment arrived when Pokemon-Arena was about to die. Action was desperately needed and this was the time when members were the most inactive. Train and Mirror decided to close down the arena shocking many members and putting some into despair. This was the month where Train and Mirror both kicked into high gear to get the new thread done.

May-August 2010: Up Another Level

-Summer rolled by and Mirror was nowhere to be found in this topic. Hyuuga and Train decided to lead while he was gone and started the training of coding. Some dear workers have left but that doesn't mean we're quitting, we've came too far to quit now. This was the time of editing old characters and improving them to the final stage.

-Negative comments are not allowed, keep them to yourselves or pm someone about it
-Not all characters will appear for these reasons:

1) Some will not use enough skills in the episode
2) Some will not make a major appearance limiting options for moves and pics
3) We may not choose to make them

-Not a worker? Don't post your works here, post them outside of this thread
-If you wish to be a worker higher than a member, you cannot work for other -arena's
-Avatars made here can only be used by the workers, anyone else using them will be reported
-Don't make a habit of posting useless information, that increases the chances of getting this topic closed
-Saying quotes like "You suck", "This will fail", "I hate Pokemon" or "Too many characters to make" will count as spam and possibly reporting if its bad enough
-Asking about your application status will be treated as spam, pm an admin of the arena if you wish to get your question answered
-Quoting an extremely long post is flooding and counts as spam, simply state the name of the person and respond to them

+-, there is a new rule with the colored blocks. It's no longer called "Chakra" because that's Naruto, it's called "PP" (Power Points). For those of you that don't know what it means, it's the number of attacks left for the specific move. Playing the Pok�mon games would help a lot. Here's what each color means:

- Physical

- Special

- Unique

- Status

- Random

Each character has skill classes that apply to all their moves. Are you familiar with words like Affliction, Melee, Instant, e.t.c? Well basically, that's what it is. I have removed a few and added a few. Below is a list of each class:

Distance: Melee or Ranged

Skill Type: Physical, Special, Status

Reaction Type: Instant, Action or Control

Other: Field, and/or Legendary
-Status(Affliction) types:Burn (BRN), Freeze (FRZ), Sleep (SLP), Poison (PSN), Paralyze (PAR), Pain, or Recoil.

The shortened versions are only to be used if space is needed.

Fully Approved Pokemon-Arena Characters. (These characters have been determined to be 100% ready for the game, and will probably not be edited between now and release.)

To Visitors:

Q: What is P-A?
A: Pokemon Arena

Q: Is there really going to be a Pokemon Arena?
A: Yes, our approval status is currently: Pending

Q: How do you become a worker?
A: Simply fill out the application and post here, there may be times when the worker's list is full and if that's the case, don't beg your way in

Q: Is P-A up and running yet?
A: No we are still drafting, therefore this thread.

Q: When will P-A be released?
A: Seeing how a new arena took place not too long ago, it may be from 1-3 years depending on effort

Q: What about coding?
A: There's one way you can get in. We are in desperate need of a coder. However, if you mess with us over this, you will get warned and a warning like this is worse than a simple spam warning. It could ban you. So if you got what it takes, feel free to post the info in your application or pm an admin of this arena

To Workers:

Q: Where do you find the pics for Pokemon characters?
A: Filb.de, Pocketmonsters.net, Serebii.net and Youtube.com (Those are put in order from most recommended to least)

Q: Can I edit the P-A thread page at any time?
A: Only if your an organizer and a trustworthy member, we'll decide if you qualify for that or not

Q: What do I do if I have nothing to work on?
A: There's always something to work on, look at "Future Plans" to see what jobs are available

Q: I want to make a character, and I don't want to delete one my own. Can I do this?
A: Yes, but you must ask the other character creators until you find one willing to delete their own character for you. If this is the case, you are expected to make an even better character. If we think yours is worse, it's booted and replaced with the old one.

Q: What if a worker is troubling me?
A: Feel free to PM an admin of this arena, we'll talk with them to resolve the problem your having
