This will be an on-going short story, loosely inspired by the Owl City song of the same name. I'll try to post at least three "days" of the story a week, which will be separated into topics for each "week". I will try to end it by December. I will also take any suggestions for the name of the female lead. Finally, I need beta readers. Anyone that can articulate thoughts and express them in complete sentences will do. Just pm me, and I'll tell you wether or not you get the job.
Intro
------
Dante Gibson walked through the glass doors into the light-flooded room he'd always hated. He was feeling rather ill and would much rather be attempting to heal, but alas, today was his first mid-term. He saw his circle of "people he could stand to talk to for a prolonged period of time", as he liked to call them, and trotted atop the ceramic tiles of varying shades of gray and blue to meet with them. Little did he know, someone was hunting him down. "Dante!" an unfamiliar, yet clearly happy voice exclaimed. Before poor Dante could turn his head in recognition, he felt a sudden surge of weight on his shoulders and soft flesh press against his back.
