Welcome to the first official Naruto-Arena World Cup tournament. The idea was born quite some time ago in someone else's head, but it was never completed, so Ive made up my mind and thought about hosting it. We know that the country ladder shows the most active countries which consists of quality players in ladder, but is it really the same when it comes down to private battles? This tournament will show which country is the best.
Credits for the idea goes to Hyuga-clan, at least I got it from Nick.

Banners - APz. Sorreh bro I had to cut them a little e.e

1.Tournament.
1.1 This tournament will be based on the World Cup tournament in soccer/football. 16 countries chosen by me will be divided into 4 groups. If it is possible, countries from the same continent will oppose themselves in this stage to not encounter time difference problems. I don't think that it will be possible, but I will try to do it like this. Then all countries will fight opposing countries from their group. The 2 best teams from each group will advance to the Knockout stage. Then it will go on like this until only one team will be standing as the winner.
1.2 All matches will be 7 vs 7. Countries can have a roster up to 20 people. Only the captain can sub players.
The captain of all the countries must be registered on the NAWC forum where he/she will post their lineup.In one match there can be max of 3 subs. Players will have one week to play their matchups, but the sooner all of the games will be fought, the sooner the next round will start.
1.3 Of course there is a possibilty of group stage ending with more than 2 teams that may advance. The most important things are big points , gained by winning whole wars (Win = 3 points, Draw = 1 point, Lose = 0 points). After that there is the greatest mini points difference from winning single matches(For example if some country wins one game 5-4 and the second one 8-1 then the points difference is 8 [1 from the first game and 7 from the second one]) . That's why it's important to play all of the games in the war. If even this don't bring an outcome then the country with the most mini points will advance. Finally, if this don't bring it, then the advancement will be decided by the result of the game between countries or with a draw.
1.4 I know that it may be hard to get 16 countries with at least 7 active players to participate, which is why I thought about creating Coalitions. If some country doesn't have 7 active players, it can fuse with another country to create one team. There are, of course,a few conditions for that to happen. First of all,a coalition can be created from 2 countries, but they have to be from the same continent.If you propose the coalition's squad but active members from your country will show their will to participate, I can forcefully disband the coalition to create one country. You cannot create a coalition with (e.g.)1 member from Poland and rest from the Brazil. In the main line-up there have to be at least 3 members of one country and 4 from the another one.
If you want to make a coalition, post here or PM this account with informations:
Country 1:
Country 2:
Captain:
There is a possibility of making a coalition of more countries but under one condition. It has to be coalition like United Kingdom, Scandinavia or f.e. Benelux. This names are used in real life.
All of the aplications will be checked.
1.5 You can join as a single member without a team. For more info read paragraph 2.1
You can join as a whole team. But first of all you have to be accepted by me as a captain of your representation. If I have a doubt about your nationality I will ask some random question about your country.
You can join as a coalition if you have completed all conditions from the paragraph about coalitions and there is no country in the tournament already. Captains have to be accepted by me.
1.6 First of all let's start with Player of the Group Stage. It will be a simple userbar but it will show how good this player managed to do in all of his matches in the Group Stage.
Player of the Knockout Stage will work the same as PotGS ,but it will concern only the matches played in the Knockout Stage.
Player of the World Cup. Another userbar for the best player in all games of both stages.
There will also be a banner for all members of the winning country.
2.Participation.
2.1 This paragraph is directed especially for people that want to join the tourney, but their country isn't organized enough to make a team.
First of all. If someone post something like "I want to join" then he will not be allowed into the tournament even if he edits his post and do things like I will show right now.
If you want to join then PM me with
Name:
Country:
MSN or Yahoo:
as a subject put "NAWC"
People that will do it correctly will be placed in the Waiting list (explanation in the paragraph 2.3)
To be on the waiting list your account have to be created at least half year ago.
Your country cannot be represented only by people from one clan. (e.g.) If there is a clan only for Poles, they can't join as a clan. Your roster have to be made from people from various clans. There cannot be more than 1 representation from one country.
Completed coalitions and countries.If you have completed whole team you can post it in the thread like that:
Captain:
V-ce Captain:
Player 1:
Player 2:
...
Player 20:
Captain and V-ce Captain shall be typed twice. If they don't play then you don't have to do it. If your roster doesn't have 20 players in it just make more space for players and finish it with {e.g.) "Player 9:"
Accounts in your roster have to be created at least half year ago.
If you are going to play for the country that you don't belong to, you will be banned from the tournament and the same will happen to your team.
2.2 Even if you complete your coalition it doesn't mean that you will be allowed to join the tournament, because the priority goes to countries that managed to make a team from people of one nationality.
But right after them stands the colations.
The last one are countries completed with people on the waiting list.
2.3. This list is like a chance for people that want to participate but their country can't find enough active members.
The whole list will be sorted by countries and list of all people that have done exactly what I've typed above will be placed there.
However, if some country post their roster that will be accepted by me, the waiting list of people from this country will be deleted.
If there is not enough countries and coalitions participating (minimum 16), then I may create a country from people on the waiting list. I would then decide who will be a captain of that country and they would be able to participate like a normal country.
3.Rules about fights.
1.All of the matches will be best out of 5;
2.You can't use the same team twice;
3.You can't copy opponent's teams;
4.There is no other team restrictions;
5.If bug or glitch will occur, the person that has the win in his/her profile can decide if he want to give re-match or not.
However, if there is a screen that shows the glitch, then there have to be a re-match.
6.No whinning after you lose your game
7.No talking about your opponent's teams in public.
8.No full stuns, drainers/burners, counters.
Breaking one of those rules will result in a yellow card. 2 yellow cards will make the player unable to play in the next match.
You have one week to complete a match. The sooner you will finish, the sooner you will be able to start the next round.
Tournament will last around 6 weeks.
Tournament will start as soon as 16 countries/coalitions are accepted or after 1 month from the date of this post.
