I did not read it all, to admit, because I was just skimming some topics; however, I do wish to comment on the first bit of advice about not making your main character different from everybody else.

To follow your format, here's a list of why that's not true:

~"The Catcher in the Rye"
~"Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"
~....pretty much any book with an unreliable narrator made for the readers to dislike such as "This Boy's Life"
~"Carter Beats the Devil" (just popped into mind because its so good)
~Hundreds of books that display Bildungsromans of characters that are different from everyone else
~"Brave New World" (I hate it, and its sorta a reverse of the point, but it works and is considered great)
~The entire "Ender's Game" series

The list could go on. It's not so much that the main character can't be unrelatable to the reader, its that they can't be that superhero that no longer belongs as a part of human kind. Different isn't the issue, only superiority is.

Nana, you are a genius!

This will help me write narrative stories in English class.
