#1 Hi, everyone!!! I’m Sorina…probably you know me because I posted many characters here, in Naruto-Boards and I acheived some prizes. I decided to make this guide for you, because many people doesn’t know how to use Photoshop or how to make good characters. Personaly I don’t like to give low ratings and this will help a lot. ? I don’t want to see comments like “Not helpful”, “Stupid tutorial” etc…because I worked at this one and I don’t need these comments. If you don’t like it, please don’t post. ~Don’t spam, or flame! ~Don’t rip any ideas or pictures for another guide or characters!! ~Read this guide’s every step if you want to learn something!!! You need a Photoshop Program so download it from here. You need to buy it if you want this program for ever. Let’s start!!! 1.Open your template: Click File>Open and open your template. If you don’t have one, try my template. 2.You need to make some pictures so, go to File>New and open 5 windows that have 75x75. Something like this: How do I get pictures? Here is the most important thing for a good-looking character. First, for a beast quality, you need to download the HQ episodes from www.dattebayo.com or another sites with bittorent episodes. You also need a torrent downloader like BitLord(Download it from the official site which can be found on Google.) If you don’t want to perform the download episodes action, here are some sources for decent pics: ~www.leafninja.com ~www.naruto.wikia.com (I will add more but not now.) If you have pics from these sites, it’s easy to make a 75x75 picture. If not, let me show you what I know about making a realy good picture: a. Open your video player(To make screenshots you need Windows Media Player, Camtasia Studio 6->I use them.) b. In your keyboard, press the “Print Screen” button. If you cannot make PrintScreen try this: - Open Window Media Player - Then go to Tools and then Options - In Options, select the Performance Tab - Then click on the Advanced Button - Uncheck “Use Overlays’ - Click Ok c. Go in Photoshop and select a 75x75 window. Then, go to Edit>Paste, and here is your picture: d. This is the most important step: Select your Move Tool and its option in its menu need to be like this: e. By using the transform controls, you can make your pictures how you want, moving the squares that are placed around the picture. After that, click on your Move Toole again, and a new windows appears that says “Apply”, “Don’t Apply”, “Cancel”. Press, “Apply” if you like how the picture is looking, press “Cancel” if you want to make a new setting and press “Don’t Apply” if you would like to work again at them. 3.How to improve the quality of the pics!!! Another very important step… Well, if the picture looks blurry, the best think to do is to sharpen. Go to Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen. You can fade the sharpeness if you want. Then, go to Image>Adjustements>Brightness/Contrast and chose the level of brightening or contrasting. Example: Before Settings: After Settings: 4.~How do you put this picture on the template? Let’s see…First look at the picture that you want to put on your template and click on this picture’s layer. ~Then press CTRL+A to select all the picture and CTRL+C to copy it. Select your Template window and press CTRL+V to paste it. Special Note: A face pic needs to have only the character’s profile and the character needs to look on the right so if your character is looking on the left, go to Image>Rotate Canvas>Flip Canvas Horizontal. Do this for each picture that you want to put on your template. 5.Text time!!!:D There are some settings for the Text Tool that need to be used when you make a character, because in Naruto-Arena characters have the same fonts: ~Character’s Name Text Font: ~Skills’ Name Text Font: ~Description Text Font: ~Classes’ Text Font: Find the classes descriptions here Your character will look something like this: About the balancing part, it’s always hard to balance a character and this will destroy your character if it’s unbalanced. Find many helpful balancing tricks here. 6.Chakra adding…It’s very easy and the last step. Use this tool [IMG][/IMG] and zoom in: ~Use the Selecting Tool and select your charka: ~Press CTRL+C and put it in the place that you want, near the “Charka Required”, by pressing CTRL+V. ~To me and my mother because she made me and whithout her you won’t have this awesome guide. ~To all Naruto-Boards’ staff, including moderators and mostly Admins. ~To You because you spent your time on this guide and made me happy. ~To lder(with a small L not i) for the Balancing Guide.
