Ecchi-Bunneh should've been disqualified because his poem didn't follow the iambic pentameter....

Please excuse us judges while we talk about this, it's not as if both followed the format perfectly, although it is true that one strayed more. We will be conversing, but, by the way, that is something that should've be given in a private message Ravino....this way, you look like a sore loser even if you're stating a true remark, think about that in the future.

Let me just say that when I read the guidelines for the iambic pentameter I thought the guidelines were to have at least 5 pairs of stressed/unstressed and that's the way I interpreted it. I didn't know it was exactly 5 pairs and that's it, next time the one's who make the rules should be more specific because different people may interpret it differently.

Even though I didn't know it was exactly 5 pairs, i do admit and accept responsibility that I hadn't followed the guidelines without meaning to do so and if for that reason I get disqualified then I'd maybe be a little bummed but I'll accept that and wish Ravino the best of luck in the finals.

I thought about that, which is why I *also* sent a private message :amused

I have not sent mine in yet. But.... here's why: (Iggy, you may be a genius, but not a poetry genius)
...you people don't know what iambic pentameter is. :noworry
In your examples, you say it's a stressed syllable followed by an unstressed syllable, when in fact it is quite the opposite. For a real example: when you say trapeze, you don't say: TRA-peze, you say tra-PEZE.

I would've posted this sooner, but i just assumed you were correct, seeing as you people know SOOOO much more about poetry than i do. But then again, i took a Shakrespearean acting course for three years.

so mean Kai....i didn't even write all that, i simply gave them the theme when they asked what i wanted my round to be on

Sending a PM would've been enough, rather than forcing this controversy on the thread, the same goes to you Kai. All this is doing is angering God.

As a judge, I ask everyone to please cease the talk about this, we've heard your concerns, and now, we wish to think and make our decisions.

Quite frankly, God in the statement above is all of us becoming one being, and we wish to remind you that getting other people from the boards to take your side during this arguement won't help you at all, because none of them have a say in the matter.
