#1 After a gruelling first round, we have been left with four titans - Ravino, Ecchi-Bunneh, Kairyu and Purples! What does fate hold in store for them?! Only the first ever Poetournament will tell us! So far, nothing has been as expected. All four of the group winners have been beaten in the first head-to-head stages - anything can happen! Please submit your poem to this account within 24 hours --------------- This is an Ars Amatoria Event --------------- For those who are unaware of what Iambic Pentameter is, below you will find an explanation and a few examples... When the rhythm is stressed followed by unstressed. This can be one word or split between two. Stressed basically means a hard sounding sylablle - "to", "the", "man". Unstressed is softer; "shell", "eye", "male". A good example of one word as both is "paper". We stress the start but not the end; we wouldn't say pa-PER, we'd say PA-per. Examples of iambic pentameter: DA dum DA dum DA dum DA dum DA dum "To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells."
