IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT spam this topic, if your posts are anything other than questions you want to add to the FAQ or questions about the information I have given they will be deleted, you have been warned.
These are some frequently asked questions about Naruto-Arena Clans. This topic was created to avoid people repeating the same questions over and over and over in different topics and flooding the Clans forum, so... from now on; if you're new or have only recently discovered Clans, all the information you want should be here. If the Question and Answer you're looking for isn't in this first post, then post the question in this thread and it and it's answer will be added to the FAQ, thanks in advance.
Question: What's the point in joining a Clan?
Answer: The answer to this question entirely depends on common sense and peoples opinions. If you value mine, these are some points in what I see to be the point of joining or creating a Clan:
* To find and make friends.
* To have someone to play NA with and talk about strategies and teams with.
* To compete in Clan Wars (group fights between Clans), which is a LOT more fun than the average Ladder Games and single PB's and increases the overall competitative-ness of the game.
* To successfully build something, this is why most people want to create clans, it's a good feeling of accomplishment knowing you have built a friendly community from scratch either by yourself or with the help of your friends.
Question: How do I join a Clan?
Answer: Many different Clans have many different processes for recruitment; the best way of finding this is by identifying the Clan that you wish to join and then reading their Clan topic in the Naruto-Arena Clan forum; this usually tells you all the information you need to know about how to join that specific Clan, whether it's by skill requirements or perhaps you just have to ask the Leader of the Clan if you can join.
Question: How do I make a Clan?
Answer: If you really want to make a new Clan, and I mean really make one and not just have a name with a list of members, then these are the things you should do:
* Think of a name, try to be original and try to avoid copying a name of a Clan that has already been made, doing this makes each clan more individual and unique and avoids petty flames between Clans.
* Create a clan topic and in the Naruto-Arena Clans forum with information about your clan, and if you want to openly invite people into your clan, you may create an topic in the Clan Invitations forum.
* Create a list of your requirements for entry into your clan, of course this is entirely optional, a lot of Clans don't have any requirements whatsoever and just let people join without any questions.
* This is also completely up to you; make a forum for your members to communicate, as to avoid posting too much or flooding these forums, I recommend invisionfree forums, they're easy to set up and really user friendly.
* Start recruiting members, a Clan isn't a Clan without it's members, so go ahead, do not force people to join, ask them politely.
Question: How many Clans are there?
Answer: Absolutely tons. I have absolutely no idea of the exact number, but if anyone knows, post in this topic.
Question: Can I be in more than one Clan?
Answer: As Clans are not exactly "official", there is no concrete rules to just how many Clans you're allowed to be in at one time. So it's completely up to the Clan Leader, if they only want you to be in their Clan and no others then you should either leave all the others or leave that one. Some Clan's do allow you to be in others at the same time, but then again many Clan's disallow it, so like I said, ask them before joining any others.
Question: How do you start a Clan War?
Answer: Challenge another Clan, it's best if you do this in their Clan topic, and it's also best if you Challenge their leader and ask your leader if it's ok to do so. As I've already said, Clans are not "official", so in Clan Wars Clan's can make up their own rules, whether it's 5 vs 5, 10 vs 10, each game is best of 3 or best of 20 and what characters are allowed, it's all up to you!
Question: What is the point of a Clan War?
Answer: The point of a Clan War is to basically enhance the competitiveness of the game, and it's also a way that Clans can compete with each other to see who is stronger skill-wise. Clan Wars are very popular due to players eagerness to prove themselves and fight for a team.
Question: Another Clan said that they were going to destroy my Clan, can they do that?
Answer: A Clan saying that they are going to destroy another Clan is merely exaggerated role-playing. There is no way to "destroy" another Clan as you can not make their members disappear, wipe out their forums or remove their Clan topic and existence from the game. The most one Clan can do to another Clan is defeat them in a Clan War, so don't be frightened if some crazy person comes up to you and says "YOUR CLAN DIES TODAY." (unless they have a lot of corrupted Admins and Moderators in their Clan and a couple of extremely skilled hackers)
Question: Are their any Clan Tournaments?
Answer: There have been, like DAWN's first two tournaments and Kusanagis NA-Legends Tournament. They have all been huge successes and have resulted in great matches between a variety of different clans. I'm certain that they'll be more in the future, and as you may have seen in my signature; I'm organizing the NA Clan League. So look around if you really want to get competitive!
Question: What if my Clan Topic has gone unanswered and has been pushed back several pages in the Naruto-Arena Clan forum?
Answer: You are allowed to 'bump' your Clan Topic if and only if the most recent post was posted roughly 24 hours ago.
Question: Can Clans make alliances with other Clans?
Answer: Sure they can, a reason for doing this would be so you can do Team Clan Wars where 2 Clans can fight as a team against another 2 Clans, another reason to do this is to extend friendships beyond just your own members or perhaps even share a website or forum, it all adds to the fun of it really.
Question: If I'm in a Clan; is it compulsory for me to wear required Clan avatars/signatures/userbars?
Answer: Most Clans insist that you wear e.g. the name of the Clan on your avatar, to represent the Clan and show other people that you're in it. However, some Clans allow its members to be entirely independent in their choices of avatars, signatures and userbars. You'll have to ask your Clan Leader if they are compulsory to that Clan or not.
Questioin: What is the best Clan?
Answer: This is a completely subjective question as the word "best" has a varied meaning depending on different peoples opinions. There is no true way to distinguish which Clan is the best, it could be the one that has the most members, it could be the one who's won the most tournaments, has the best players or just the one that is most organized. Dispute all you will, as long as you realize that no one can be possibly "right".
Question: Is Clan Support going to be added, and if so, when?
Answer: A while ago I heard talk of further plans for Clans but nothing yet has been confirmed. However, the ideas and suggestions I saw I didn't like one bit, in fact I prefer it just the way it is where Clans can roam freely throughout the site and we're able to organize our own Clan Wars and Tournaments. But if Clan Support is ever to be released, you're find the news on the Main Site.
