First of all, his sister's name is Hana and his mom's name is Tsume, so I don't know how Rin was confused with those two names. And secondly, Rin doesn't have the "same fangs" on her cheeks, those are something else (I want to say some kind of bandage, but idk). I do know that was not the fang markings as other Inuzuka have because the only colored picture of Rin shows that the markings on her cheeks are purple, but Inuzuka's have red fangs markings that actually look like fangs, as the purple things on Rin's face doesn't look like fangs at all. And on top of this, Kakashi stated that all people close to him have already died, so from this we can also presume that Rin is also dead.
