Lucky's Showcase

Days after we set off towards Vexuria we found ourselves in the middle of a Lightning Storm as the day turned into night. The wind was blowing violently and was so loud we couldn't hear each other although we were half a meeter apart taking refuge in a small cave. The road slowly turned into a swamp and mud tornadoes started to take shape heading towards the nearest lake. Beside the road, all the trees were on fire since they were struck by lightning repeatedly and not even the heavy rain could put the flames out. We were starting to get really concerned about getting electrocuted seeing so many lightning bolts strike the ground whit so much force we could feel the vibrations they caused. We were soaked wet and the floor of the cave was wet also . One thing was strange though... we didn't hear any thunder the entire time.The horses almost broke they're harnesses at a point trying to run away acting really panicked and in a effort to calm them down Rock and Hunter took a serious hit in the chest from them . Hunter was OK but by the time we got to Rock who got kicked out of the cave it was to late. A huge tornado suddenly appeared and he was sucked into it . We barely managed to escape it's pull by blocking the entrance whit a bolder. Several hours later the storm stopped and we got out of the cave. Everything around us was leveled just like in the town where Lord Naxus sent his troops to capture me. All that was left was a swamp filled whit ash where corn fields used to be and the road barely noticeable since we had to walk ankle deep in water . We looked around and noticed significant increase in damage towards the other side of the mountain and set off in that direction looking for Rock. We figured that that's where the tornado went .

While we were searching for him Rock was unconscious on a river bed right where we we thought he could be but was days away from us. He eventually woke up near dawn and immediately felt a sharp breath taking pain in his right shoulder. On further inspection he noticed he had a stick stuck deep in it and was loosing blood but didn't pull it out because he had no means of stooping the blood properly and he would just make things worse. He got up and started walking around the forest looking for some sign of us or civilization. After walking for hours Rock found himself in front of a huge cave entrance. It was very cold outside so going inside seemed like a good idea at the time. What he found there was a total shock to him. All of the walls were covered in diamonds and the floor covered in piles of gold items but that wasn't the strangest thing. The back of the cave was full of thousands of flower pots whit splendid flowers floating around the place like they were dancing by the harp melody Rock started to hear. The symphony of colors and movement in the company of that music was really beautiful and had a hypnotic effect on anyone who watched it. He stood there for a little watching then he collapsed from the loss of blood and exhaustion. Days later he woke up inside a strange place whit circular pink walls sitting on a bed that seemed to be made entirely out of flowers. The design of the walls reminded him of a rose, it was like the room was shaped like a rose. He got up but his shoulder gave him a sharp pain. That was when he realized his wounds were cleaned and bandaged by someone. Walking around the strange structure he started to hear the same song he heard before and followed the sound till he entered a huge bright white room full of red and white flowers which were both on the ground and in the air dancing to the music. The entire room seemed to be made of bright white marble and was designed like a roman arena. A girl stood in the middle of the room playing a harp for twelve beings that looked exactly like suns the size of a house which were sitting around her in a circle . She was about 19 years old had long blond hair, bright white soft skin and a pair of eyes that would make even the most hateful man fell in love whit her. When she saw him, she stopped playing and all the attention of the sun-beings was directed on him. " Who are you and how dare you enter our sacred chamber ? said a deep voice as loud as thunder tat seemed to come from one of the suns. " You can call me Rock! I apologize if I did something wrong I'm just lost so was looking to find someone who can show me how to live these place." There was a moment of silence then a laugh so loud he fell on his knees in pain followed by a statement . " You have tainted our sacred grounds and you want to leave? The only place you're going is to the fire depths where you will burn alive for all eternity!" said another voice. " No! please spare him ! He didn't mean to do it since he had no way of knowing. " said the girl who was playing the harp. " All right ! we shall spare him but in return you will be our servant for all eternity !" said the sun like beings and she agreed then took him quickly into the room he came from. " Thank you for helping me and taking care of my injury ! Who are you and what is these place? " said Rock. " You are welcome. I have been alone here for so long I can't even remember when I spoke to someone last. I couldn't just sit there and let them make you vanish. My name is Roxi and these is the home of the thunder eaters ! All they do is to cause fear and terror because that's where they get they're power from. Fear, anger, pain ,destruction, loud noises they all are part of the chaos of war and that's what they feed off." said the girl. " Thunder Eaters ! you mean they literally eat thunder?" he said. " Yes they do . After they literary scare everyone to death in each village they visit, they summon a devastating lightning storm which levels everything and they feed off the thunder getting stronger and stronger. They wiped out another village just before I found you." Said Roxi. " So that's why we saw lightning but we heard no thunder . But why are you staying here and doing things for them? You can leave can't you?". Said Rock." I am here because I have no choice. Ten years ago when they came to my village, they heard me play my music and were fascinated by it so promised to spare it if I went whit them and served them for the rest of my life. So you see, if I run away m y family and all those that live in the village will be wiped out. I can't allow that to happen. " Said Roxi . " But there must be something we can do, they must be a way to defeat them. I have some friends who will help us when we get out of here if you come whit me." Said Rock ." No you must not do that ! these place is to well guarded, you'll get yourself killed before you get out."Said Roxi." Don't worry ! they can't kill what they can't see. " He said turning into a small creature that looked like a belt whit legs half a meter long then turned back into himself again. " I can turn you into that also and we can get out of here before they even notice". Said Rock ." Even if your plan does work I already told you I can't come . What is that thing anyways? " Said Roxi . " It's called a Quickzor and it can run so fast you can't even see it when it moves. What village are you from anyways maybe if I can find a way to protect it from them I can come back for you!" Said Rock. " My village is called Agapi and it's on the other side of the mountain , you can see it from here look. I had forgotten how beautiful the view is up here. I stopped coming because it reminded me of home. "Said Roxi while making them suddenly appear on the peek of the mountain the cave was in by swaloing a small pill and pointing towards her village. " Agapi! Agapi ! where did I hear that name before?" Said Rock to himself as he looked in the direction she pointed. Then he remembered and had a really sad expression on his face. " Is there something wrong? "Asked Roxi." Well depends on how you look at it . The good news it that you can finally leave these place, the bad news is that your village has already been wiped out by lord Naxus who has conquered most of the land recently so there is nothing left for the Thunder Eaters to wipe out if you come whit me. I was there when it happened. Me and my friends barely got away alive.

She suddenly got white in the face and started crying. " Are you sure ?" She asked while rock was holding her in his arms nearly hugging her." Yes I am , all that is left are ruins but there's a bright side to these as well, about half of the villagers were taken as slaves so they are probably still alive somewhere in some mine." Said Rock looking in her eyes as she stated to get some color in her cheeks after hearing that. " Ok then I will go whit you". When he heard that Rock immediately turned them both into Quickzors and got out of the cave. They had no problem getting past the traps which no ordinary man or animal could survive. It seems the cave was designed one way. You went in but never went out, in theory at least. Later that day Rock and Roxi stoped at a clearing to camp for the night and built a shelter together. Rock did most of the work of course since she had servants all of her life to do everything for her so she was really clumsy and had no idea of how to survive in the woods. Well at least she was willing to try. After the shelter was finished and a fire was set Rock went fishing as she stayed behind to take care of the fire. Six hours later he came back whit six fish and gave them to her to cook them but there was a little problem." Here take this fish and cook them while I go set some bear traps it's almost night"... " Well I would if I knew how " Said Roxi. " For the love of God if there anything you know how to do ? anyways what you do is take a knife start clearing the scales away like these then you cut it up and clear everything inside it , then you just put it on a stick and put it over the fire!" ..." You mean you expect me to cut it and get's it's insides out whit my hands?ewwwwwwwww!" ..." Well it's your call you either get to work and eat or just sit there watching me eat." ..." Fine ! give me that thing!" . Said Roxi taking a fish. As she was cleaning it it started to move and slipped out of her hand ending up on Rock's face making him slip and fell on his ass complaining about his shoulder hurting badly. She started laughing then helped him get up and gave him a massage as he sat on a log feeling her breath on his neck feeling his heart biting faster and faster as she got close and went on whit the massage ." Sorry about that but I never had a fish in my hands before "Said Roxi whit a wide smile on her face which made Rock stare at her for a few moments admiring it." It's OK, just take a seat and put wood on the fire so it doesn't go out , I'll cook them" said Rock smiling. Time passed by , the night got colder and colder and they got closer and closer to one another to keep warm. Around midnight they made more fires around the shelter and got in it as they couldn't bare the cold any longer. Holding each other in they're arms tight trying to keep warm looking at each other and talking for hours it was clear that those two weren't just friends anymore but neither dared make the first move. Well till morning that is because the first thing that Rock did when she woke up was to kiss her and she kissed him back. He watched her sleep most of the night while standing in alert fro intruders memorizing every curve of her face and motivating himself to have the courage of making the first move.

As they were getting ready to go they found themselves face to face whit Zero(one of Lord Naxus's generals). It seems all the generals and they're troops were sent throughout the kingdom to gadder the most beautiful girls because he wanted to choose a wife. The moment Zero saw Roxi he ordered his troops to get her and kill him if he stands int he way. Of course Rock defended her and he ended up fighting. Unfortunately for him he couldn't fight to well because of his injured shoulder and he couldn't use his transformation powers because he was to tired. The battle didn't last long and unfortunately Rock was defeated. Zero had gone ahead whit Roxi who was taped in a enchanted pendant around his neck while rock was kept busy. As one of the enemy soldiers was about to kill him arrows started to fly all over the place taking out all of the enemy forces saving Rock from certain death. " Lucky for you I was passing by mister! to bad I got here to late to save your friend also " Said a girl's voice from a tree. " Thank you ! I ow you my life , is there any way I can repay you?" Said Rock laying on his back badly hurt " Well not now but who knows maybe you can in the future! Who are you ? My name is Selena". Said a tall beautiful girl whit light brown hair, green eyes who was dressed as a man in a hunter suit carrying her bow and arrows, after she got down from the tree and got near Rock. " My Name is Rock, well that's the short version anyways. Me and the girl that was whit me were heading towards the other side of the mountain to find some friends of mine . We got separated when a tornado took me away. Do you know why they took her? " Said Rock ." Well Nice to meet you! They took her because she's beautiful and Lord Naxus is looking for a wife so he had all of the beautiful girls brought to him to choose. That bastard who was here took my sister, her name is Jenna. It seems he captures the girls in that amulet around his neck. I am going to follow them till I get My sister back. Since they took your friend also we could go together if you can keep up whit me " Said Selena." OK let's go then he's getting away!" . They both got on Selena's horse and started chasing after Zero as the rain started to go down hard perfectly matching Rocks state of mind since he was as angry as the storm that had begone but made it almost impossible for them to track Zero. I guess that's another example of the irony each of us has to face from time to rime . It was a storm that brought Roxi and Rock together and now a storm was helping him separate them.
