Lazy's Mission Guide

Some things you may wish to know about the following team guide before I delve into the depths of strategy. In the following guide I list teams that I find effective to completing the missions listed, these teams may not fit your personal style and as such their effectiveness may be reduced. When I list a team I also give a short synopsis explaining how the team may work together and support it other factors. I may also use language that describes certain members that you may not understand(IE: DoT AoE) you may refer to my Team Guide to see what I mean by this. When listing teams for a mission if there is a team I’ve listed in a previous mission that may also aid you in said mission I will list it, but will list another team as well because one… I’m not so lazy as to give you the same teams all the time, and two because when completing the later mission you’ll have more characters and therefore more diversity when accomplishing your missions.
Exceptions will occur for the missions of the Jounin, as well as for Anko, basically for the A-Rank missions and up I'll be recycling teams due to my own laziness

Practice Session Missions

Sasuke’s Quest For Power
Defeat 12 Konoha Nin With Sasuke

Sasuke, Chouji, Shikamaru
This team is one of the first ones I made when beginning at N-A. That was before Shikamaru became the weakling he is currently, but with the amount of characters you currently have, he’s still the best fit here. The basis of this team is teamwork, you won’t get far without it because each of these characters are major threats and will be targeted if they seem to be the core of this team. Shikamaru is able to open up an opponent’s defense with his shadow bind therefore countering teams of the same nature, or teams the focus on walling or damage reduction. Sasuke is able to piercingly damage the opponents that Shikamaru is not occupied with, and Chouji, with one pill minimum, can begin to backup both of his teammates with skills to enhance the considerable damage done by Sasuke for a kill, and to increase the steady damage dealt by Shikamaru.

D-Rank Missions

The Search For Kidomaru
Win Four Battles In A Row With Neji

Neji, Gaara, Shikamaru
Yes, once again I am including Shikamaru within a team, it is not due to my fandom, rather to the fact that better characters you have yet to obtain so deal with it. Gaara can be used as bait within this team, but it is also highly advisable that you don’t use any ninjutsu chakra you receive as you can utilize him as well. Neji’s Gentle Fist attack lasts 2 turns, but commonly only hits for one of them as the opponent will tend to evade the 2nd turn of it, Shikamaru can fix this through his shadow strangulation. When Shikamaru is otherwise occupied with his strangulation you can instead save the chakra to use Neji’s 64 Palm to prevent invulnerability and to destroy one of their precious chakra per turn.

The Search For Jiroubou
Win Four Battles In A Row With Chouji

Chouji, Kin, Gaara
This team is based upon saving any ninjutsu chakra for Gaara and his instant kill while allowing Kin and Chouji to eliminate the other team members through teamwork. Kin’s attacks and increase the damage done by Chouji to a larger extent, and the fact that each of their techniques cost only one chakra (excluding Chouji’s pills) allows you to easily save your ninjutsu and not have to worry quite as much about paying random costs at the cost of another characters technique availability. Gaara can once again work to absorb opponent’s attacks, but Chouji will also be a prime target and as such it will be important to keep him invulnerable as much as possible, that is why it is extremely good to have his meat tank.

The Search For Tayuya
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Shikamaru Or Temari In Your Team

Sasuke, Chouji, Shikamaru

Shikamaru, Kidomaru, Neji
I realize the clash in this team is quite appalling but give me a chance here. The use of Shikamaru’s bloodline chakra comes at a minimum of once every 5 turns, Neji can use it on a consistent basis, as can Kidomaru. Neji may use the same combination with Shikamaru to insure that both turns of his gentle fist hit, but he can also use hit 64 palms to allow Kidomaru to strike a certain opponent with his golden arrow attack therefore reducing his health by 50 and now allowing Neji to kill him in 2 turns with a gentle fist offense.
If one wishes to take the AoE approach once Kidomaru’s used his AoE he is unable to use it again for 5 turns now allowing the bloodline chakra to flow to Neji to be used once every other turn, and to Shikamaru to allow a mass stun for two of those five turns.

Jiroubou, Temari, Kiba
First things, major WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do not under any circumstance activate Jiroubou’s drain technique while Kiba’s twin wolf is in effect as it will negate all damage done to the opposing team with its destructible defense. The basis of this team is to use AoE skills to damage the opponent, and to support it with single target skills. After using Temari’s AoE along with say Jiroubou’s AoE you will have the opponent at 45 health, unless they have reduction, and therefore you can end that characters life with Jiroubou’s single target fist of nirvana for 30 single damage, and with Temari’s cutting whirlwind for 20 damage resulting in a kill for the cost of 3 chakra which you are quite likely to gain each turn. Instead of killing with the single target skills one may also use Kiba in order to deal that 45 damage to each opponent through his twin wolf skill and eliminate all the opponents in 3 turns for the cost of two chakra instead of 9 chakra.

The Search For Sakon
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Kiba Or Kankuro In Your Team

Jiroubou, Temari, Kiba

Kiba, Tayuya, Kankuro
This team focuses of DoT AoE, the offensive moves of Kiba and Tayuya deal damage to the entire team over some time, and Kankuro, after he’s been prepped can either aid in that damage, or can use his black machine technique to deal 60/40 damage to an opponent therefore ending the DoT upon them at the cost of three random chakra. If one does not wish to use the DoT AoE portion of this team one can simply use Kiba’s Gatusga and Kankuro’s Black Machine technique with 12 damage already dealt from Tayuya for a kill. Tayuya’s stun may be utilized in either strategy to postpone the enemy and allow you to begin your DoT AoE onslaught again.

The Sounds Amongst The Leaves
Win 5 Battles In A Row With At Least One Member Of The Sound Genin

Dosu, Naruto, Shikamaru
This team has two characters which will negate an opponents defenses and render them vulnerable. Dosu is here for two reasons, one for his actual skills which add to the team and are required for the mission, and two to shut the people up who are always saying that Dosu isn’t used enough. Naruto has a stun as well as reduction, and Shikamaru has an AoE Stun and therefore can allow Dosu and Naruto to kill opponents while they are stunned rather then attempting to when they may retaliate. Dosu also gives to the team with his gen based drain as well as valuable ‘stun’ that tells the opponent if they move they’re sitting ducks for an assault.

A Rare Opportunity
Defeat Three Sand Siblings With Hinata In Your Team
Defeat Three Sand Siblings With Shino In Your Team
Defeat Three Sand Siblings With Kiba In Your Team

Hinata, Tenten, Shikamaru
Using this team one can deal steady damage with Hinata while stunning the opponent with Shikamaru and Tenten. For a mere taijutsu chakra you can stun the opponent for a turn, while they are stunned you can use Hinata’s 25 AoE as a stun, in most cases, will negate damage reduction. While each character on this team requires preparation, not generally a smart idea, it means that you may prepare your next stun while damaging already. In a perfect world one can win in 5 turns, one turn for preparation, and three that include a stun as well as 25 AoE, and one that consists of only the 25 AoE which will tend to be the 2nd turn, or the 1st after preparation.

Shino, Jiroubou, Tayuya
This team may have a low damage output, but it is able to stall the opponent, firstly by draining them once every other turn reducing their potential chakra. With Jiroubou you can deal 20 AoE every turn provided you have the chakra, and to stall the opponent you also have his earth wall technique to give your team 60 destructible defense that they will waste there limited chakra destroying while you gladly take their chakra each turn. Tayuya is able to deal some small DoT AoE as well as stun the opponent to allow you to continue a cycle is a cooldown must be waited upon.

Tayuya’s stun may be utilized in either strategy to postpone the enemy and allow you to begin your DoT AoE onslaught again.

A Downpour Of Illusion
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Shigure

Shigure, Kiba, Tayuya
Within this team each character uses 2 chakra for their attacks, as this is you are able to attack once a turn, and every other turn you will be able to attack with two characters. Each character specializes in moves that are classified as DoT AoE moves and as such their effects last over these turns in which only one attack may be used. If each of the characters on this team used their DoT AoE and the opponent waited it out and did not block any of the turns they were active they would be dead. It totals up to a minimum of 102 damage dealt over time over an area.

The First Mission
Win 15 Battles With Naruto, Sasuke, Or Sakura In Your Team

Sasuke, Neji, Kin
This team is one that has multiple strategies possible, it can focus around either Neji or Sasuke depending on your style. When focused on Neji you will use him to drain, and then slaughter with his gentle fist while using Sasuke on a separate opponent. When focused on Sasuke you will use Neji and Kin to drain the opponent while using Chidori as often as possible. Between these two strategies is a middle ground where you use both Sasuke and Neji equally depending upon the target, you use kin for her one chakra damage cost that you can do with the remaining one chakra every turn as the techniques of Sasuke and Neji cost 2 chakra. Their draining may be utilized at your own discretion but is not the focus of the team.

Dosu also gives to the team with his gen based drain as well as valuable ‘stun’ that tells the opponent if they move they’re sitting ducks for an assault.

Sakura, Ino, Sasuke
This team revolves around Sasuke dealing as much damage as possible while Sakura and Ino stall the most dangerous opponents with stuns. There is minor clash within this team but one can prioritize moves to make it work as Sasuke needs as much ninjutsu as possible, while he can go without the taijutsu so that Sakura may stun. Ino doesn’t have to worry about sharing chakra at all, and her stun will hit a random enemy so while she may be useless in 1 vs. 1 situations it’s great to be pummeling with Chidori and have her mind disturbance technique add 25 onto it…. for a grand total of 85 damage if Sharingan is active on that member of the team.

The Redemption Of Gaara
Win One Battle Against Lee With Gaara
Win One Battle Against Dosu With Gaara
Win One Battle Against Lee With Kimimaro
Win Two Battles Against Kimimaro With Gaara
Win Six Battles In A Row With Gaara

Gaara, Zaku, Lee
To the unapplied eye this team may not seem like Zaku belongs, but take a closer look, the other two characters are prime targets for an opponent. For Lee it’s the danger of his 5th gate lotus that attracts the attention, while he can be invulnerable every other turn, what’s going to protect him on the off turn? For Gaara it’s the danger of his instant kill that attracts piercing damagers to him, he can have his reduction up for 3 turns and be invulnerable the fourth, but on the next cycle there will be a turn without protection or invulnerability, how will you protect him? Zaku is our answer to both problems, with one bloodline chakra he can set an invisible protection in front of either of them once every other turn. This will allow the team to last quite a while as they must first eliminate Zaku in order to be able to strike at either Lee or Gaara efficiently. Gaara and Lee during this time will be able to quickly eliminate the enemy, Gaara on those with reduction, Lee on those without it. PS> if you didn’t know, this is a ‘cheap team’ it is only listed here because it’s damned effective

The Fifth Of The Sound
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Kidomaru
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Sakon
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Tayuya
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Jiroubou

If one wishes to take the AoE approach (not suggested) once Kidomaru’s used his AoE he is unable to use it again for 5 turns now allowing the bloodline chakra to flow to Neji to be used once every other turn, and to Shikamaru to allow a mass stun for two of those five turns.

Kidomaru, Jiroubou, Shigure
This team is quite effective in it’s AoE power as it has DoT AoE incorporated within it. Kidomaru has an AoE that gives him the most frickin’ annoying reduction in the game (IMHO) and deals a minimum of 48 damage (minus reductions). To add to that he has his 50 spike. Jiroubou has the muscle to deal some AoE every turn while Kidomaru or Shigure is sending their waves out, he also has his Fist of Nirvana that allows him to deal 30 to a single target therefore killing one member on their team if they’ve been afflicted with Kidomaru and Shigure’s DoT for more then a few turns. Shigure is here mostly as a support character and because his DoT AoE has the bonus that every turn he can deal 25 to a single target therefore setting up for single damage kills with Jiroubou/Kidomaru.

Sakon, Gaara, Kin
There is no clash in this team, and while there may seem to be no apparent reason why they are so special, if you look at it, you have one character who deals some major single damage until he activates his special… if you refrain from activating his special until it’s 1 vs. 1 or greater on your side you wont, odds are, lose. Gaara is there for the obvious reason of one, bait, and two to utilize his instant kill either for stalling the opponent while Sakon kills them or for actually killing 1-2 members of their team. Kin is here because one the only other Gen users would be entirely ineffective here as Tayuya is DoT AoE and therefore not compatible with these characters, Shikamaru is more compatible but can only use his skill once and then must wait for the opponent to die or his skill to be canceled.

Tayuya, Kidomaru, Tenten
This team has the obvious DoT AoE aspect, but in addition to that both Tayuya and Tenten have AoE stuns that they can utilize every few turns to stall the opponent. Kidomaru and here for two reasons, one if I stuck in Haku everyone would complain that my teams weren’t original and that one wouldn’t be, and two because Haku after his mirrors is near useless for the next 5 turns while his mirrors “cool down.” His spike can bring about an end to any major threat quickly, and his reduction and DoT AoE is annoying as hell and that’s why I picked Kidomaru. Tayuya has her DoT AoE, while this may be utilized I suggest not using her drain as it hurts more then helps. Tenten has the obvious AoE presence with 30 with no cooldown, this is most of the apparent firepower within this team.

Shigure is here mostly as a support character and because his DoT AoE has the bonus that every turn he can deal 25 to a single target therefore setting up for single damage kills with Jiroubou/Kidomaru.

Jiroubou, Shino, Kankuro
Excluding Jiroubou this team may seem to have a rather low damage output when speaking of direct AoE damage, limited to 15 every other turn from Shino, and 30 over 3 turns from Kankuro, but if you take into account that every other turn Shino will increase your chakra by three, that means that you’ll have the chakra for Kankuro to use his secret black technique without exhausting all your chakra, allowing you to follow it up with Jiroubou’s earth ball on the same turn for a kill.

Win 15 Battles With Haku In Your Team

Haku, Oboro, Tenten
This team is based off of the perma-stun that includes Shikamaru instead of Oboro. I have substituted Oboro as it becomes more efficient. Using Oboro you can either single stun or AoE stun, this is the same as with Haku. This gives diversity to the team as it allows you to target different members depending on opposing team. There is no clash within this team and only Tenten needs preparation in order to stun. When using this team I’d suggest you start off the first turn doing nothing, prepping Tenten maximum and save chakra for a turn so you’re less likely to get a chakra screw.

Mist Ascendant
Win 10 Battles With Zabuza In Your Team
Win 5 Battles With Haku In Your Team
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Zabuza Or Haku In Your Team

Haku, Tenten, Oboro
This is a perma stun that has no clash, but rather then using Shikamaru I’ve used Oboro as for one he has his damage with the AoE Stun, two he can single stun as well as AoE stun therefore giving the team more versatility. Haku has both single and AoE stuns and therefore plays the same role as Oboro does. Tenten just pulls it all together if you’re using them for a perma stun.

Sakura, Zabuza, Kimimaro
The first thing most people will notice here is the clash, before you comment upon it, shut up and hear me out. With Zabuza odds are you will only be using his taijutsu when his mist is in effect. Kimimaro will most likely be used for either his stun, or his AoE and therefore taijutsu isn’t too important to him. Sakura uses taijutsu to stun the most threatening member of the team, then using Zabuza you can counter all the AoE teams which are getting so prominent. Kimimaro can’t be countered and therefore if doing this at ANBU rank you won’t be screwed by Kakashi + Kurenai + Gai teams.

Win 6 Battles In A Row With Gaara Or Lee In Your Team

Lee, Ino, CSS
This team has a basis around spiking as well as stunning from Ino. Using CSS you can use bloodline chakra to gain the ninjutsu for CSS’ corrupt chidori and that will deal 60 damage leaving them with 40 health, then following up with either his DoT you can deal 25 with 10 if they move the next turn, then using Ino you can have a 50 chance to kill them with her body disruption. Lee, well he stands on his own with his gated lotus.

Win 15 Battles With Sakura In Your Team

Sakura, Ino, Sasuke
This team revolves around Sasuke dealing as much damage as possible while Sakura and Ino stall the most dangerous opponents with stuns. There is minor clash within this team but one can prioritize moves to make it work as Sasuke needs as much ninjutsu as possible, while he can go without the taijutsu so that Sakura may stun. Ino doesn’t have to worry about sharing chakra at all, and her stun will hit a random enemy so while she may be useless in 1 vs. 1 situations it’s great to be pummeling with Chidori and have her mind disturbance technique add 25 onto it…. for a grand total of 90 damage if Sharingan is active on that member of the team and the 25 hits.

Sakura, Zabuza, Kimimaro
The first thing most people will notice here is the clash, before you comment upon it, shut up and hear me out. With Zabuza odds are you will only be using his taijutsu when his mist is in effect.

Naruto, Neji, Kin
Using Naruto you can stun with this team which can support Neji’s gentle fist allowing both turns to hit, that would result in 95 damage to one opponent, then were you to use Kin’s needles or Neji’s rotation you can kill that person, and set up for another round of it. This strategy works well, but say you run into reduction….well Neji’s already fixed that hasn’t he with his 64 palms. Kin may also prevent reduction or invulnerability. This team has minor clash of taijutsu, but why would you be using Naruto’s Uzumaki Barrage when you could be using Gentle Fist.

Sakura, Zabuza, Kimimaro
The first thing most people will notice here is the clash, before you comment upon it, shut up and hear me out. With Zabuza odds are you will only be using his taijutsu when his mist is in effect. Kimimaro can’t be countered and therefore if doing this at ANBU rank you won’t be screwed by Kakashi + Kurenai + Gai teams.

Hinata, Kabuto, Kiba
This team is all based around AoE combinations. Kiba sets in his twin wolf and Kabuto his nirvana so if they try and stop it…they stop themselves. Set Hinata’s AoE with Kabuto’s boost and you have more damage same with Kiba’s Gatsuga while wolfing it. 45+20+22=87 damage, plus the 15 already being tossed into it from twin wolf that’s a kill unless they have reduction. Base this entire team around supporting and boosting each others works. Do Not Waste Chakra!

Shino, Temari, Kabuto
Besides the obvious drain factor of this team you can also see that temple of nirvana can be used in synergy with Shino’s parasites and Temari’s whirlwinds allows you to stun the opponent while damaging them and therefore end the fighting quickly and without too much pain on your part, can’t say the same for them though. There is minor Nin clash, but with the strat laid out there’s absolutely no reason why that should matter.

Lee, Ino, CSS
This team has a basis around spiking as well as stunning from Ino. Using CSS you can use bloodline chakra to gain the ninjutsu for CSS’ corrupt chidori and that will deal 55 damage leaving them with 45 health, then following up with either his DoT you can deal 25 with 10 if they move the next turn, then using Ino you can have a 50 chance to kill them with her body disruption. Lee, well he stands on his own with his gated lotus.

Team Of Gai
Win 5 Battles Against Gaara Or Kimimaro With Lee
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Lee In Your Team
Win 5 Battles Against Temari Or Neji With Tenten
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Tenten In Your Team
Win 5 Battles Against Hinata Or Naruto With Neji
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Neji In Your Team

Team Of Baki
Win 5 Battles Against Lee Or Sasuke With Gaara
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Gaara In Your Team
Win 5 Battles Against Shikamaru Or Tenten With Temari
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Temari In Your Team
Win 5 Battles Against Shino Or Sakon With Kankuro
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Kankuro In Your Team

Neji, Gaara, Shikamaru
Yes, once again I am including Shikamaru within a team, it is not due to my fandom, rather to the fact that better characters you have yet to obtain so deal with it. Gaara can be used as bait within this team, but it is also highly advisable that you don’t use any ninjutsu chakra you receive as you can utilize him as well. Neji’s Gentle Fist attack lasts 2 turns, but commonly only hits for one of them as the opponent will tend to evade the 2nd turn of it, Shikamaru can fix this through his shadow strangulation. Chouji, Kin, Gaara

S-Rank Criminal Itachi!
Win 10 Battles With Kakashi Or Kurenai In Your Team
Defeat Uchiha Itachi Once

Kakashi, Oboro, Shizune
The basis of this team if to stun the opponent with Oboro while damaging them with Shizune and finishing them with Kakashi. All the while waiting for the nin and tai you can use blood to use Kakashi’s Sharingan to reflect anyone targeting him. Shizune can heal the damages done to Kakashi and can practically save the game with a heal.

Kurenai, Kiba, Temari
This team has a strong DoT AoE base, with no clash you’re able to use any type of chakra for specific members and you don’t have to worry about prioritizing moves. If all 3 turns of Kiba and Kurenai hit you will have dealt 75 damage, you can then end it all with just an attack from Temari. Each member has their own special protection, Temari has her wall and cutting whirlwind, Kiba has his twin wolf, and Kurenai has her ‘counter’.

S-Rank Criminal Kisame!
Win 10 Battles With Gai Or Asuma In Your Team
Defeat Hoshigaki Kisame Once

Asuma, Kurenai, Shino
This team consists of all AoE user that will deal around 10-15 damage per turn with their single AoE move. There is no clash within this team, and each of the members support each other. By using Asuma’s flying swallow you can give your team reduction while allowing you to drain them and deal 40 damage each of the turns if you have the chakra. To support him Shino can drain for said chakra, and if your match has really been going well then you can use Kurenai to stun them while you damage them with Asuma leading to a kill a turn or two later from damages.

Gai, Shizune, Itachi/Oboro]
Preferably this would be completed with Itachi, but the order you complete these in is of your choice so….. But with this team you’ll focus on using DoT moves while backing them with Gai’s strong whirlwind therefore dealing piercing damage to potentially kill the enemy. Or using Oboro to stall while waiting to hit with boosted whirlwinds…Shizune is the obvious support heal for Gai’s health loss.

S-Rank Missions

Disciples Of The Toad
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Naruto
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Kakashi
Win 7 Battles Against Sasuke With Naruto Or Kakashi In Your Team
Win 7 Battles Against Shizune With Naruto Or Kakashi In Your Team

Dosu also gives to the team with his gen based drain as well as valuable ‘stun’ that tells the opponent if they move they’re sitting ducks for an assault.

The God Of The Shinobi
Win 8 Battles In A Row With Tsunade In Your Team
Win 8 Battles In A Row With Jiraiya In Your Team
Win 8 Battles In A Row With Orochimaru In Your Team

Tsunade, Orochimaru, Baki
This team focuses on using attacks in a cycle, Tsunade can deal her 30 and open up the opponent’s character as they’re stunned, then follow with Baki’s wind blade for 40 piercing and if possible using another 30 from Tsunade for a kill. Use Orochimaru for bait, or for gaining chakra. Or you can use Tsunade as bait instead and have Orochimaru and Baki work together for coverage of the 4 chakra types.

Jiraiya, Shino, Tentenb
As is obvious this team is used to deal AoE damage, 35 from Jiraiya and 30 from Tenten with no cool and Shino to round it with 15 and wall/drain aid. The strat for this team is quite obvious and if you can’t figure it out I’m astounded you’ve gotten to unlocking Sandaime.

The Resurrection Of The First
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Sandaime Hokage
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Kimimaro
Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin With Jiroubou
Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin With Kidomaru
Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin With Tayuya
Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin With Sakon

Sandaime, Orochimaru, Kurenai
This team has a strategy that is a little less blatantly obvious. Using Kurenai you can stun, counter and use DoT AoE, as such you can support the DoT skills of Sandaime and help speed the process of eliminating a foe that’s afflicted by Shiki Fujinn. Orochimaru is hear because his summon can speed the process quite quickly and his drain is useful to prevent the foes from killing Sandaime before his Shiki Fujinn is finished. This one takes a bit more finesse to pull off then most of the others I’ve given you, good luck.

The Resurrection Of The Second

Shippuden Missions

The Prodigal Son Returns
Win 8 Battles With Naruto Or Kyuubi Naruto In Your Team
Win 2 Battles In A Row With Naruto Or Kyuubi Naruto

A Girl Grown Up
Win 15 Battles With Sakura In Your Team
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Sakura

A Genius Of Hard Work
Win 10 Battles With Lee In Your Team
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Lee

A Genius Of Ranged Combat
Win 20 Battles With Tenten In Your Team
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Tenten

Pride Of The Hyuga
Win 20 Battles With Neji In Your Team
Win 8 Battles In A Row With Neji

Neji, Gaara, Shizune
This is the team that I used to unlock Neji S, it was a breeze as I lost only once. Gaara stands on his own for his coffin and funeral, and Shizune and Neji work together to enable a kill, it’s quite simple really if you think about it. The strat is obvious, use it if you wish, but this is the team I used and got him the night he came out.

Coming Out Of Retirement
Win 50 Battles With Any Sand Ninja On Your Team

Neji, Gaara, Shizune
This is the team that I used to unlock Neji S, it was a breeze as I lost only once. Gaara stands on his own for his coffin and funeral, and Shizune and Neji work together to enable a kill, it’s quite simple really if you think about it. The strat is obvious, use it if you wish, but this is the team I used and got him the night he came out. It also got me Chiyo.

A True Artist
Win 12 Battles With Any Akatsuki Member In Your Team

Gai, Shizune, Itachi/Oboro
With this team you’ll focus on using DoT moves while backing them with Gai’s strong whirlwind therefore dealing piercing damage to potentially kill the enemy. The lack of clash also adds to it’s effect and Shizune can remove any afflictions set on them such as Kakashi’s dogs.

Finding His Purpose
Win 10 Battles Against Any Missing-Nin With Gaaraa Rehabiliated
Win 3 Battles In A Row Against Kimimaro With Gaara Rehabilitated
Win 2 Battles In A Row Against Deidara with Gaara Rehabilitated

Gaara Rehabilitated, Zabuza, and Chiyo
This team focuses on using some steady damage from Rehab and Chiyo, using this team you can utilize all types of chakra, when gifted with ninjutsu chakra you can manage to deal some AoE stuns from both Zabuza and Rehab, as such you have 2 turns with which you can stall the opponent while gathering your wits to deal with the opposing team. The only clash within this team is the ninjutsu, guarding against most AoE teams you have Zabuza to use his mist in order to prevent assault from teams such as perma stuns as they’ll tend to use at least Haku and Tenten who are both ranged physical characters, as such you are now immune to most of their effects and can easily win the match.

A Blank Slate
Win 3 Battles Against Itachi Body Double With Any Of Team Kakashi (S)
Win 3 Battles Against Kisame Body Double With Any Of Team Gai (S)
Win 2 Battles In A Row Against Deidara With Naruto (S) Or Kakashi (S)
Win 2 Battles In A Row Against Sasori With Sakura (S) Or Chiyo (S)

Kakashi S, Rock Lee S, and Chiyo S
This team can be a lot of fun to use, if you one have patience, and two get a little lucky with your chakra. Not only can you heal your team bit by bit with Lee and add some reduction from him, this will aid when fighting AoE teams as you will often encounter them. Kakashi S can easily one reduce the stuns that are likely to pop up every couple games. Chiyo comes in handy in any match as she’ll pierce any defense for the full damage when using her stun and her cheap 20 DoT always comes in handy. Many combinations are possible here and often you’ll be able to execute at least 2 moves per turn, so enjoy this team and it’s perks.
Inspired by gy6tera and slightly created by him, strategy devised and inscribed by myself

A New Team Leader
Win 6 Battles Against Any Member Of Team 7 (S) With Deidara Or Sasori
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Any Member Of Team 7 (S)

Sasori, Orochimaru and Baki
The basis of this team is defense, with offense, it’s a multifaceted team and the weaker they get they have a tendency to get stronger. Sasori is a tank, he gets stronger when he gets weaker, so moves like Orochimaru’s curse seal are effective and efficient when used upon Sasori as you get extra chakra and he gets the chance to deal more damage and stronger attacks. Baki is here to fill in a chakra gap as well as his piercing movements complete the circle of each character being able to deal with reduction, also with his Flak Jacket he has some of the best survivability in the whole game. There is only minor nin clash between all three characters with Orochimaru using it once for his summon and the others for their strongest moves it seems to not be much of a problem in each instance I’ve tested it in.

Kakashi S, Kisame BD, Zabuza
This team also is extremely defensive yet holds a strong offense along with it. Kakashi S can be traded for really any of the Shippuden Team 7 set as Naruto S would work just as well yet it would have slightly more clash, Sakura S has the same issue and Sai S would work well yet seems to clash quite a bit with Zabuza. Kisame BD holds some of the biggest effect here as he’ll boost the opponents cooldowns by 2 turns for 4 turns, even if killed the move will still last until the fourth turn resolves. Zabuza here stops the ever popular AoE teams with his mist and can ignore defense with his taijutsu movements, he also has an AoE stun if need be to stall for a moment. I placed Kakashi S here because of his Sharingan Imitation and his Mangekyou, which adds a bit more offense to this team. This is as much a strategy as I’ll give you because, if you’ve gotten to unlocking Yamato S you should be able to finish the rest of this for yourself.

Return Of The Snake
Win 4 Battles Against Kyuubi Naruto Or Naruto S With Orochimaru
Win 5 Battles Against Yamato (S) With Any Other Member Of Team 7 (S)
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Orochimaru Or Kabuto

Orochimaru, Baki, Sakura
Basis of this team is cheap damage, Sakura has a cheap single stun (cost wise) and Baki has a cheap 20 piercing (once again cost wise). Orochimaru has a drain allowing this team to enter a pure hybrid category which makes it more difficult for many others to counter, the two main members of this team have reduction or a boost to their name and as such both are dangerous in 1 vs. 1 situations. Not much else to say for this other then it’s not really “noob” friendly due to the amount of pre-thought needed to properly execute it effectively.

What Lies Beneath
Win 3 Battles Against Kyuubi Naruto With Yamato (S)
Win 5 Battles Against Orochimaru Or Orochimaru (S) With Kyuubi Naruto
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Kyuubi Naruto Or Naruto (S)

Yamato, Kakashi, Sai
This is one of my more defensive teams, yet I tried to give it a bit of an offensive side as well, I did so by using characters who use several types of chakra for each of the characters. Kakashi will, odds are, be the first target in any situation for the opponent, as such having his Sharingan up is very important, BUT you can do quite well without Kakashi as you’ll still use all 4 chakra types. Honestly I can’t give you much of a strat for this team, all I can say is that it works, all you need to do is pay attention.

Kyuubi Naruto, Lee S, Chiyo
This team has a strong basis with damage around 20-40 damage as well as a moderate cost of about 2 chakra per attack though Chiyo and Kyuubi have their own formidable attacks that cost only a single chakra. This team will fair quite well against most types of teams and should only face difficulty with I’d say pure counter teams or extremely well built hybrid teams, other then that I don’t see any real complications from the opposing team affecting this team. Lee S has defensive measures that are important as all three will be major targets, most specifically though will be Chiyo. Chiyo is here only really to support the skills of Kyuubi and Lee rather then as the basis of a team as she is in several others, she can boost any of their attacks and also is able to add additional damage to the opponent reducing their health drastically. This is my team for this mission, it holds no clash and acts as a hybrid team…enjoy.

The Green Beast
Win 2 Battles In A Row With Lee
Win 2 Battles In A Row With Tenten
Win 2 Battles In A Row With Neji
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Gai

Gaara, Zaku, Lee
To the unapplied eye this team may not seem like Zaku belongs, but take a closer look, the other two characters are prime targets for an opponent.

Gai, Shizune, Itachi/Oboro
Preferably this would be completed with Itachi, but the order you complete these in is of your choice so….. But with this team you’ll focus on using DoT moves while backing them with Gai’s strong whirlwind therefore dealing piercing damage to potentially kill the enemy.

Win 6 Battles In A Row With Itachi Uchiha

Gai, Shizune, Itachi
With this team you’ll focus on using DoT moves while backing them with Gai’s strong whirlwind therefore dealing piercing damage to potentially kill the enemy. The lack of clash also adds to it’s effect and Shizune can remove any afflictions set on them such as Kakashi’s dogs.

Return Of A Rival?
Win 25 Battles With Any Akatsuki Member In Your Team
Win 6 Battles In A Row With Hoshigaki Kisame

Sakura, Neji, Kisame
This team supports both drain and stunning. Both Kisame and Sakura can stun you, and both Neji and Kisame can drain you, combine them wisely for maximum effect. While there may be clash, and it seems quite prominent, think about it Kisame uses one nin to deal 20 and stun, Sakura uses one tai to deal 15/30 and stun, and neji uses a tai and random to deal 50/2turns.

Master Of Puppets
Win 6 Battles In A Row With Puppet User
Win 10 Battles With Diedara In Your Team
Win 10 Battles Against Any Kage Level Ninja

Diedara, Jiraiya, Jiroubou
This focuses on using AoE with boosting from Jiraiya's toadmouth while there may be high ninjutsu clash if you consider how often you'll be using nin it's not that big a deal. Jiraiya pulls out his summon for 35 and another chakra, prep Deidara during these turns as after the 2nd they wont odds are attack him for fear of killing him, hit with Jiroubou often and once you have the nin, use chamber to save for 2 turns so that you can let another one of Jiraiya’s summons loose, use Deidara to invoke fear and deal cheap costing AoE.

From Teacher To Partner
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Naruto S
Win 5 Battles In A Row With Sakura S
Win 8 Battles In A Row With Kakashi

Naruto S, Chiyo, Itachi
I’m stopping still, basics is that you can stun, and ignore invul while dealing large amounts of damage for moderate costs. Survivability is high, just work on teaming up on people.

Sakura S, Lee S, Kyuubi
Self healing team, it can get quite annoying and the clash is minimal so not much of a worry there. Stun and spike them when able otherwise reduce and annoy.

Where The Shadows Lie
Win 4 Battles In A Row With Shikamaru Nara
Win 10 Battles With Shikamaru Nara In Your Team

Shikamaru, Asuma, Zaku
The team is perhaps not a Lazy original but is one of the best teams with the old Shikamaru I have found, it is an AoE hybrid based upon utilization of the defensive techniques of each character to keep the team alive. Shikamaru is here to allow stun to set up either Zaku’s AoE or for Asuma’s flying swallow to finish cooling down. Overall it’s quite a simple team and I cannot see one having much trouble at all in completing the mission with this team.

Shikamaru, Kidomaru, Lee S
As proven by my friend JDavey, in a guide of his yet to be released, Kidomaru is the most effective DoT AoE character and is a certain hit in most any team. By adding Kidomaru to Lee S you give yourself both a strong offensive and defensive base, Shikamaru is here to allow you to either prevent your opponents defense from interfering or to stun and allow Kidomaru’s spike to finish it’s target without any defense. Lee S can heal while Shikamaru stuns in the same turn, then the 3 turns later heal again giving you 30 more health from before and 15 reduction at the price of giving them chakra, just think when you’re using this team and don’t allow the opponent to stock pile too much chakra.

This is as much a strategy as I’ll give you.

Win 12 Battles With Hidan Versus Shikamaru S or Asuma S

Shikamaru S, Kisame BD, Zabuza ~BlackDragonGod
Against drains. KBD has his Water Shockwave, yeah this is the main thing to use against drains. Shika (S) is there, for one, to stun so KBD can keep going with his sharks, and for second to get chakra to keep this team going. Notice also the 50-25-25 combos, rely on this as your strategy, OR revolve around Kakashi's ko. Just remember to prep KBD for your issue there. ~strat by him as well

Hidan, KBD, Kankuro ~Millerman
I’m not going to provide a strat, ask Millerman if you want it he made it.

Really like the Naruto, Kin and Neji combo I just beat Team 7 followed by Tenten, Temari and Zaku so i'm confident that most of your teams will work for me (I just haven't tried them all)
