DRN_Shikamaru’s ULTIMATE DUMPLING TOURNAMENT

NA is filled with tournaments where people fight to see who is “the best”.
Victory! Victory! Victory!
That’s what many tournaments are concerned with; but what about fun? What about silliness?
Well, that’s where my tournament’s step in. These aren’t intended to show who’s the best – they’re intended to make you play the game like you may have never played it before.
In order to achieve this, I’ve decided that each of my DUMPLING TOURNAMENTS will have whacky and crazy rules. Some of you won’t find that appealing, and I appreciate that. But some of you will – and for those of you who *do* I hope you have a great time fighting here
So without further ado, I welcome you to the very first tag-team version of
THE ULTIMATE DUMPLING TOURNAMENT!!!
Make sure you read this properly so you understand the structure. It’s a little wild
Here are the rules. Are you ready?
Rule #1:
This will be a tag-team tournament
Rule #2:
In order to sign up, you both post confirming who your partner is, and offer a Team Name, in the following order
TEAM NAME
PLAYER 1
PLAYER 2
Rule #3:
There will be seven tag teams. The team with the most original Team Name will get an automatic bye through the first round.
Rule #4:
The tournament will follow this layout:
Team (A) Player (1) vs Team (B) Player (1)
Team (A) Player (2) vs Team (B) Player (2)
If both players from a team win, they progress into the next round. If one player from each team wins, then the two winners will play each other; the winner of that team will progress alone into the next round.
If facing a team with two players, the lone ranger will have to beat both players to progress. Any player that successfully does this will receive a prize.
You must decide at the start of the tournament who will be Player 1 and who will be Player 2

First Round - Masked Mysterios
• Some are handsome, some are scarred, but for whatever reason, they won't let you see their whole face. Whether they use cloth, bandages or highrimmed coats, they all desire the same air of mystery. Well, there was a sale on at the local Mask-Mart, and all of the ninjas rushed to get discount facial-wear. But what's this? They're out of stock of almost everything! The ninjas must now fight amongst themselves to ensure they get the mask they so desperately desire...
For the sake of this tournament, we'll be using the avatar images to decide who is allowed. The following characters are considered Acceptable for this round:
Shino
Dosu
Zabuza
Demon Brothers
Oboro
Yoroi
Kakashi
Baki
Kakashi (S)
Itachi Body Double
Haku
Second Round - Bros Before Hoes, Man!
• It's all about sticking up for your pals! Don't let womenz get in the way - they'll only tear us apart! You can only use ninja from the same village and age group, and no female ninjas.
The following list shows the Acceptable characters for this round. Each name counts for all versions of that character.
Leaf Rookies: Naruto, Kiba, Shino, Shikamaru, Choji, Neji, Rock Lee, Sai, Kakashi, Gai, Asuma, Iruka, Jiraiya, Hokages, Yamato
Sand: Gaara, Kankuro, Baki
Sound: Dosu, Zaku, Kidomaru, Jirobu, Sakon, Kimmimaro, Kabuto, Orochimaru, Yoroi, Sasuke
Akatsuki: Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, Sasori
Third (last) Round - FINAL ROUND OF DESTINY!!! Medicinal Malpractice!
• The ninjas at the hospital have rioted, and now they're out for blood. You can only use ninjas that can heal themselves or their allies.
The following characters are considered Acceptable for this round:
Sakura
Sakon
Kabuto
Shizune
Tsunade
Kyuubi Naruto
Sakura (S)
NOTE: If you do not have three characters from this list, then you can choose to use a team of characters who have been hospitalised at some point during the course of the series. These are
Naruto
Sasuke
Rock Lee
Kakashi
Choji
Rule #7:
If someone's team doesn't conform to the above rule, take a screenie, and its an auto-win
Rule #8:
If your game crashes, ask the other player for a rematch. People, be nice - if you were obviously going to lose, and their game bugged out, let them either play the rematch or open up and admit defeat. If you were going to win, then denying a rematch is allowed. But ultimately the decision lies with you. I don't want whining here, if people whine, they'll be disqualified from all future Tournaments.
Rule #9:
If neither of your opponents turn up within five minutes of the start of the round, it counts for one win. If they don't arrive for a further five minutes, it's two wins and you'll pass into the next round. If they do turn up, then you have a 1-0 advantage (if both teams then win one game each, it will be your victory)

The winning team of THE FINAL FIGHT OF DESTINY will have their team name listed in my sig, and gain a SUPER SECRET USERBAR
Plus, the winners can chose from one of three additional wonderful prizes:
(a) Special sig proclaiming your victory (possibly from mybannermaker.com, just for the lulz)
(b) Epic poem detailing your journey
(c) Some Ultimate Fried Pork Dumplings delivered to your house via Air Mail - be warned, I'm lying about this prize, you'll receive nothing of the sort 
Not So-Secret Additional Prize Section
There are a number of prizes on offer for the players of this tournament. See below for a run down of what you can achieve!
• Winners Crown (prizes listed above)
• Navigator of the Murk – Free pass through the first round for the most original team name
• Cheerleader Skirt of Win – for the best cheer that takes place over the course of the tournament
• White Heart – a small token of appreciation for anyone who accepts a rematch
• Friendly Fire – a special medal given to anyone brave enough to admit they were going to lose a match before a crash occurred
• Lone Wolf’s Memory – a special token given to anyone who beats a double-team on their own
• Friends Forever – if a duet wins the entire tournament, they win this special secret prize
