When the chakra beast were still owned by the 1st Hokage, the Bijuu were under confinement in order to help the great nations. The beasts were mad at the Hokage for trying to control them. Then they went berserk and nearly destroyed the 5 great nation. They were contained again but the 5 nations needed a way to prevent it from happening again, so they developed a group of extremely strong ninjas. The Hokage him self was in it. It was named Akatsuki with the Hokage as the leader. This group was disbanded after the death of the 1st Hokage. Another Akatsuki was formed with evil intentions, but the desendents of the true Akatsuki remains. We will be best in n-a. We will be strongest in n-a. We are the one true Akatsuki. We are named in honor of the Hokage Himself.
