Hmm...according to that age test, I'm 29...when I'm actually 16. I'm getting old already...

Also, Newhope, I have no issues with you introducing people you know to JM. I'm sure we all trust your judgment.

Anyways, I'm off to check our forums.

Regarding Yoku's departure:

I think we should stop dwelling on the fact that he may never interact with any of us again and think about the requests that he gave in his "farewell letter". Considering that almost everything he has done thus far has attempted to instill ideas and behaviors into us, I think we should view this in the same light. Yoku may very well be reading the forums while logged off as to not alert us of his presence while still keeping an eye on us. The truth of the matter is that he got on MSN today and I had a discussion with him. I believe that he thought we needed a little boost from watching us these past few days and logged into MSN hoping to contact one of us *shrug* Anyway, the entirety of our conversation is posted below.

Quote by MSN Conversation with Magirawashii
Betrayer says:
o.o
Magirawashii says:
Yes?
Betrayer says:
Well, if you really are going to disappear forever...we want to say our proper goodbyes. Also, we are wondering what is going to happen with Emancipatus. I'm speaking for the clan when I say this.
Magirawashii says:
I already know and as for Emancipatus, that is merely dependent on you all.
Betrayer says:
We really won't be content with using the forum if you are paying for it without associating with it at all.
Magirawashii says:
That's the intresting part, wouldin't you say?
Magirawashii says:
interesting*
Betrayer says:
I suppose it would be interesting if you keep paying for it. It just doesn't seem right to take your money without returning anything o.o Of course, with you being the enigma that you are, it's hard to know what to think.
Betrayer says:
Anyway, I guess you could make a topic on the JinMei forums for goodbyes, check it for a few days, post a final goodbye post and we shall never talk again T_T
Magirawashii says:
May I ask you something?
Betrayer says:
Sure :/
Magirawashii says:
Have you ever considered the option that everything I've displayed to this particular point has been crafted to a certain extent?
Betrayer says:
Of course.
Magirawashii says:
Knowing that, have you ever come to believe that recent events were designed to have you develop a particular manner of thinking; namely those requests I provided during my "farewell speech"?
Betrayer says:
Yes. Well, I had to go back and reread, because all I really noticed was the "I will no longer interact with any of you." and that is where the following discussion ventured as well.
Betrayer says:
You requests kind of remind me of something recent that happened.
Magirawashii says:
And that would be?
Betrayer says:
The permabanning of Burn was up for debate between the GMs. Originally, I had voted against the permaban (Even though it was rightfully earned due to ban evasion) because I, for some reason, wanted so dearly to maintain the respect of Burn. After making the decision as well as some new "Ban evasion guidelines" (Bullshit), I found myself pondering over the decision that I had made and what made me come to that conclusion for hours. Eventually I realized that I was wrong in my judgment and we got everything straightened out.
Magirawashii says:
Quite close yet so far, however I see the connection you have establised.
Betrayer says:
Yeah, I never said it perfectly matches your requests, but it does indeed seem similar in a way x.X
Magirawashii says:
Tell me, has Jinmirai Meibatsu managed to decipher the 2nd factor needed for the original founding intention to be realized?
Betrayer says:
I...don't know o.o I guess not o.O *head explodes*
Magirawashii says:
That's unfortunate, but I suppose I'll provide some hints. My name contains the foundations needed to arrive to answers, however if fixated on, you will only be misled.
Betrayer says:
Like...your JM title? Everlasting Enigma?
Magirawashii says:
Perhaps, the name in question is up to you all to decide.
Betrayer says:
I've never really thought about this before, but if an enigma is everlasting...doesn't that mean it will never be deciphered? Because once a mystery is unravelled, won't it cease to be a mystery?
Betrayer says:
*More head explosions*
Betrayer says:
Perhaps that is the "being misled" that you referred to *shrug*
Betrayer says:
Or maybe it's the wrong name that I am pondering ._.
Betrayer says:
Whatever, I shall present the discussion to the clan I suppose
Magirawashii says:
An enigma is merely a mystery, however it can be said that nothing can truely be unknown for eternity or perhaps the term "Everlasting Enigma" reflects towards something else?
Betrayer says:
It may not refer to a single enigma, but enigmas in general o.o In that case, it would be advocating that there will always be mysteries to decipher o.o
Magirawashii says:
I'll simply say this, my "farewell speech" is not what it seems and certainly has quite the extensive background in terms of mysteries.
Magirawashii says:
Now then, if you wish, you can present this particular conversation to Jinmirai Meibatsu as I'm sure the internal hints described in my comments can surely help.

Also, if somebody could re-quote the "farewell letter" that would be nice

Also, when I have more time, I'll don my sleuth cap and help in the deciphering of these two mysterious messages - at least he's giving us something to do!

Here you go.

I always miss everything around here anymore. My stupid schedule keeps me offline whenever anything interesting starts to happen.

Anyways, it's nice to see even more applicants around. I wish everyone luck.

Also, Yoku, I think your departure actually did accomplish its goals, even though you said it hadn't when we spoke a few days ago on MSN. Everything went exactly as you planned; you created our ideals, and we embraced them. Then, the numerous incidents with Nemo fit the next phase of your plan quite nicely. Nemo decried your actions for exactly what they were intended to be; contradictory to our ideals. And then you left, ready to observe what would happen. Would we decide that the ideals in the clan were no longer worth following, or would we advance the concept? I believe it's safe to say we took the latter route. We upheld the ideals, and have thus kept JM "pure" ever since. While your departure pained us, it was because we didn't want to see a friend leave, not out of insecurity. Leaving us without a leader, however, allowed us to develop our bonds as a clan further, since we could no longer rely on you to manage the clan. We had to work as a team; that fact led to the creation of the Oversoul in our forums. JM's future seems to grow brighter with each passing day, and we haven't once lost sight of what we stand for. I believe it's safe to call your project a success.

However, there is an issue that still remains: your separation from the clan. You say that you don't intend to rejoin us, but really, I don't see why you shouldn't. Think about it for a moment. As it stands, you drop by to visit us, participate in discussions, collaborate with us on projects, etc. That describes the actions of just about every member officially in the clan. You need not worry about us gravitating towards you for leadership; if your absence has proved one thing, it's that the members of JM can stand on their own feet. The Oversoul helps to ensure member equality, and you've said yourself that you don't really like to be a leader anyways. Were you to join back up, here is what would change:

1. You could don a JM sig once more.
2. You could participate in any clan wars we might happen to have (though, as before, you need not feel obligated to)

As it is, Yoku, you're practically a member anyways. We've established the fact several times in the past that you're always welcome here, and that hasn't changed. I truly think that no harm can be done by reinstating you, in light of JM's reaction to your departure. Do you disagree? If so, why?

Well, It can be assumed that the overall intention for project "Jinmirai Meibatsu" has truly been attained, however two factors yet remain for such a thing to truly be recognized; one of which is for you all to determine rather then myself.

1. My complete removal from Naruto-Arena, Naruto-Boards and anything affiliated with such things; in other words, I will no longer interact with any of you along with any others regardless of what consequences that may bear against my overall character.

Now then, I will reveal one more truth which you, Soryuju, may be familiar with, I had named this particular clan, organization, guild, or whatever you wish to deem it "Eternal Retribution" for one reason and one reason alone: The actions conducted in order to result in a hopeful change was immoral and manipulative as I had deceived you all into thinking a particular perspective while staging certain occurrences which resulted in negative solutions.

Furthermore, I will not apologize nor will I clarify or defend against statements made against me after this particular post, however I would like to make two final requests and however way you wish to follow them is merely up to yourselves.

With that said, I ask you all to look beyond certain "facts" and "opinions" and develop your own interpretations in regards to recent events that is devoid of any outside influence; Even if your interpretation happens to follow betrayal, manipulation, kindness or whatever. Once that has been attained, I want you to question yourselves to a very critical level as to why you came to such a concept..

Lastly, I want you to remain faithful to your companions who have endured the same hardships as you have, be it within the clan or not as your relationships and intentions with them is what truly defines your character.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Farewell,
The Everlasting Enigma

Eternal Retribution... Everlasting Enigma.
