Close Please.....

I've seen so many new clans being made, and close to all of them are in the wrong format.
So, I've taken it upon myself to make a topic about how clans should look before some poor player goes and embarrasses his or herself.

First off, have banners!
Banners attract potential clanless players to your topic.
Here is what you should do for a banners:
- Don't use mybannermaker.com to do it!
- Have at least one GFXer before you make your clan.
- If you don't have a graphics maker go to a shop.
- One banner will not do!

You should have links to you clan chatbox and recruitment page under the main banner.

Next on the list is writing a clan history.
Your clan may be new, but you should always have a history.
Here is how it should look:
[insert clan name] was created by [your name here] and [your co leader's name here].
The reason for making this clan is to...(Don't say to be the best, it's cliche and very noobish)
This clan was started when...
We hope to have many loyal, true members.

It should at least have those above.

After your history section you should have clan news.
It's helps your members find out what's going on with the clan.
Here's a sample:
Clan news:
November 24, 2008- Main thread was made.
November 24, 2008- Recruitment page finished.
December 12, 2008- John_the_best has joined the clan

It should be something like that.

Always have requirements!
You should put your clan requirements under the news so new potential recruits can see if they are eligible to join your clan.

Now on to the members section.
It should contain individual bios about Clan leaders, squad leaders, and members.
Here's a biography I've just made up:

Naruto_fan is a very loyal member.
He's been with the clan since the beginning and is a very good N-A player.
He's fun to be around and is a very fun and active member.
We hope to keep him around.

You want to make your members feel special.

Now a clan wars section should be placed.
You want to have your wins and losses placed above and the winning clan's name bolded.

Then there's annual tournaments.
Have the rules and regulations on top,
followed by previous winners, and then
participants.

Then there should be a little GFX section.
That would contain sigs, avatars, and banners that would be used by members.
