I've done a lot of number crunching for different situations for a couple of weeks now and this is the end result of all that research. The mechanics are as air tight as anything we have seen in the game and allows a lot of flexibility in any situation I have come across. I've thought up a lot of team combinations on both sides of the fence to see how things play out based on effects/chakra costs and conflicts/cooldowns. I didn't find a situation where either team would have a clear disadvantage/advantage that would be potentially game breaking based on using this character and also made sure it doesn't make any other existing character pointless/inferior with Gosuto's inclusion. I'm pretty hardcore about balance issues.

This doesn't mean I've covered every situation and there may be somethings I overlooked or didn't consider so if anyone see's anything or thinks of something I didn't please let me know so I can decide where something needs to be corrected, even if it's spelling!

Great, it got some balance on it! But isn't Touch of the Forgotten overpowered? Kabuto does 4 rounds for 1 more random... Something needs change?

No it's balanced. I looked at chakra costs and durations of both Zabuza and Kabuto when making Touch of the Forgotten. It is less effective than either of those moves thus the cheaper cost. The duration is two rounds with a cooldown of 3 rounds exactly like Zabuza's Hidden Mist. However, Zabuza also increases his defense in addition to giving him double damage on his attack. Increasing cost would kill the chakra effeciency of the character for no added benefit. Also increasing the duration of the move by even 1 round would allow 3 rounds of healing for a maximum of 90 health points before you have to prep again. This isn't Tsunade and is not intended to rival her in any way. Refer to the notes section regarding the use of Embrace of the Maidens and Touch of the Forgotten and how the mechanics work in harmony.

Hmm, did you check Kita Madaru yet, from my collection? I don't have any new posts there...
Oh, and do you maybe have time to help with the art? Just 1 of them with art, and instantly to custom hand drawn, or asking mod to look... But knowing your "Time", you don't have it. Your job is pushing you, if i remember right. But it's ok

Wait, combing your char with Zaku/Asuma and Shizune... Wouldn't it be a bit crazy?

lol I'm glad you noticed that combination too! Zaku and Asuma and Nobu is a team I would love to try out. Although people would focus on taking out Zaku asap to kill the damage potential of the team. If enough blue was available though you could get 3 soul burn sacrifices going for the 75% damage resistance for Nobu and then for two rounds at a time Asuma can give an additional 25% damage resistance for 100% damage resistance on Nobu and focus on temporary invulnerability for Zaku and Asuma with their 1 round ally protection techniques. Too bad the durations and cooldowns leave a lot of holes in the defense over the course of several rounds. But that would be fun to see how much the other player is willing to tolerate 5 damage each round that they are looking for an opening. The only bad thing about this is that it's going to cost a lot of blue chakra to keep the heals going. Taking the maximum 15 damage each round from Soul Burn Sacrifice isn't going to be reduced by the 100% defense anyway. (remember Soul Burn Sacrifice ignores damage reduction on both the target and Nobu) You can't keep healing forever, someone's going to have to die whether it's Nobu or the enemy team.

Yeah, actually when I was drawing that picture his hands were on the shoulders of the maidens that were all kneeling/sitting at his feet. When I was playing with cropping to fit it into the mission box I couldn't get it to work out properly so I cut them out of the picture entirely and I just did a waist up shot instead. Didn't think to do something different about his arm position though. Now that I look at it I might change his pose. Maybe crossing his arms across his chest. I'll probably work that in this weekend if I have time.

On another note, started a new poll on both my characters. What do you like most about Gosuto Nobu?
