Rinnegan Abilities/Info Thread

#1 I'm starting this thread for the purpose of keeping an up-to-date listing of the Rinnegan's abilties and info about it. Discussion and theories are welcomed and encouraged. I would also like to give a thanks to LeafNinja.com for jutsu name and info. Their sources come from databooks so it should all be accurate. Rinnegan Skill Class: Doujutsu Known Bloodline-Doujutsu Abilities: 1) Body Possession (possibly only Dead Body Possession) 2) Grants access to 6 specific types of special abilities that are classified under the 6 realms of Mahayana Bhuddism known as the "Six Paths of Pain" 3) Grants unknown beserker-like increase in power that allows the user to defeat a much stronger opponent 4) Can "see" chakra and identify barriers Known Bloodline-Physical Abilities: 1) Grants access to 6 types of chakra nature manipulation 2) The Six Paths of Pain: Grants the user the ability to use body possession over 6 dead bodies transforming them into the 6 realms of Bhuddist rebirth. The bodies can share vision and resurrect each other (unknown whether this is a generic ability or if specific bodies are capable of resurrecting the others). -Animal Realm Special Ability: Capable of using any kind of summon General Uses: Unknown -Human Realm Special Ability: Soul Absorption (unconfirmed) General Uses: Skilled in taijutsu attacks -Demon Realm Special Ability: Unknown, possibly that it can turn its body into a large number of weapons General Uses: Offensive body, can cause massive damage in a short period of time with built in weapons and its own superhuman strength -God Realm Special Ability: Shinra Tensei General Uses: Unknown, appears to serve as the leader of the "Six Paths," and Nagato's chosen avatar to the world in most circumstances -Hell Realm Special Ability: Unknown General Uses: Unknown -Hungry Ghost Realm Special Ability: Fuujutsu Kyuuin General Uses: Unknown, possibly a defensive body Known Unique-Bloodline Jutsu: Rinnegan Dependent 1) Shinra Tensei: Used by God Realm, this technique allows the user to push and pull anything (physical matter as well as chakra/energy) towards or away from its body 2) Unnamed Summoning Jutsu: Used by Animal Realm, this technique allows the user to summon any type of summonable creature (including humans) and modify those summons. 3) Unnamed Soul Removal Jutsu: Used by Human Realm, this technique allows the user to infiltrate the mind of the target through physical contact and then remove the users "soul" (most likely their spiritual energy) 4) Fuujutsu Kyuuin: Used by Hungry Ghost Realm, this technique allows the user to absorb any kind of incoming attack, thus nullifying it Known Unique Jutsu: Unknown if Rinnegan dependent 1) Shouten no Jutsu: Allows the user to turn a recently deceased (sacrified) body into a perfect copy of a target ninja. The copy is controlled by the target ninja and gains a portion of the ninja's chakra allowing the copy to use any of the ninja's techniques, including Kekkei Genkai. 2) Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin - Allows the user (in conjunction with others) to seal a Bijuu. Requires the King of Hell statue to use and the length of time to seal is dependent on the number of additional shinobi (after counting the user) 3) Gofuu Kekkai - A sealing/barrier technique that involves the placement of 5 seals that must be removed simultaneously in order to remove the barrier that they sustain 4) Gentoushin no Jutsu - Allows the user to call anyone who has been taught the required portion of the jutsu and then create an astral copy of anyone affected in a desired location. The astral copy can contribute chakra towards a jutsu and allows the shinobi who was called to see/hear as if they were really at the location they have been called to. 5) Kyoumen Shuuja no Jutsu - Creates a duplicate of anyone who comes in contact with this technique out of the natural substances in the immediate environment. This duplicate possesses all the skills and knowledge of the original, including Kekkei Genkai, and will battle the original until one or the other dies. 6) Ukojizai no Jutsu - Allows the user to blanket an area in rain. The rain serves as a scouting system that lets the user keep track of masses of chakra (other shinobi) within the area covered in rain. 7) Zoufuku Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Used in conjunction with a summon. Allows the user to increase the power of its summon by creating a duplicate of the summon whenever it has been attacked and then recombine those duplicates to create a more powerful (multi-headed) version of the summon. Known Weaknesses/Limitations: 1) Can only use the the Known Unique-Bloodline Jutsu when using the 6 Path of Pain 2) Requires Chakra Receivers in possessed bodies to use "The Six Paths of Pain" 3) Each body of the "Six Paths of Pain" can only use its specific special ability Unconfirmed Bloodline-Physical Abilities: 1) Can transform any dead body into on of "The Six Paths of Pain" 2) Can infuse objects with the users chakra allowing the user to take control of them. If the object has "eyes" than they gain the appearance of the Rinnegan (this was seen in Chapter 327, page 16) Unconfirmed Weaknesses/Limitations: 1) Requires daily sacrifice of bodies to maintain use of "The Six Paths of Pain" (the comment from the Rain-nin about "Today's corpse is pretty light," implying a corpse everyday) Naruto parody RPG Character Collection
