Before I explain this idea, I want to say that I'm aware that this seems far-fetched, and that it's likely to be an impossibility. However, the idea did come up earlier in the day, and I feel like talking about it.

Say that you could look into a certain game, like the final of a tournament or a ladder game between the #1 and #3 ranked players on the ladder. The game would have a special background, with the player's characters on each side. You wouldn't be able to see their available moves or cooldowns; instead, you'd see the results of each player's moves and actions. There would be no "Press When Ready" or "Chakra Exchange" to click on, but there would be the timer bar and the name of the turn player. One would be able to watch the game in progress.

Now having this option for every single game can't happen, but it would make sense to have about 8-10 games available for viewing. People could learn new teams and strategies, or simply watch their friends in a tournament game.

So what is it that would make this idea impractical? That's my question.

I don't want others to see my team though.

No team is a secret these days. Once word got around of Zabuza/Kakashi/Zaku getting a +41 streak, the general population caught on and used it consistently.

Heck, my team is commonly used. Besides, if one is so concerned about it, they don't have to be a part of it. It should be voluntary (except for a top ladder matchup). It could somewhat balance out the divide between top players and "noobs".

Most of the time, it isn't about the teams. It's about how you play them.

I think it could be a good idea, but only if it was limited in availability.

I suppose maybe add another button to the menu which starts a normal quick/private game type, but which allows an audience. Therefore the players themselves can choose whether to allow others to view their games or not.

Call it a cheap bump, if you will, but I still don't have an answer to my last question.
