Hey everyone. Really sorry about missing from action for so long. Been really busy with my studies and have been hoping that the council i arranged would be organised enough to handle matters in my absence. =(
And i also officially declare that jbrosrulez shall be the new leader of the clan.
I'd like to thank the founding members of the clan who have been with us virtually since the beginning, magic66, hawk442, dragon-tamer, correojon for helping me to get the clan going with the creation of our clan name, clan symbol etc.
I'd also like to thank the actively contributing members, who mostly are part of the Kusanagi council.
And to end off, our clan is definitely one of the best around with some of the most brilliant members around.
Hopefully under the leadership of jbrosrulez, kusanagi will reach even greater heights.
Though, i'll still be hanging around lol.
Update: In response to PMs asking me to let them join my clan.
Sorry, the original Kusanagi Clan (which I started) is kind of a one-man clan now because I don't have time to manage clans these days.
But don't be dismayed. The legend of the Kusanagi clan will be continued by Kusanagi ~Legends Reborn~.

The Kusanagi clan is one of the first few clans on Naruto-Arena and we’ve been around since 25 September 2006. We have grown strong since the time we were first created but we are still welcoming strong players to join our clan.
(the requirements for entering our clan can be found below)
The Kusanagi is the legendary Japanese sword that is as important to Japan's history as the Excalibur is to Britain's. Just like the Kusanagi sword, our clan will be one of the most prominent clans around once the Naruto-Arena admins release the clan support feature.
As a clan, our members help each other out in the Ninja Missions and arrange private battles on Naruto-Arena. We also discuss about Naruto-Arena stuff (characters, teams, strategies, etc), and the Naruto anime/manga on our Naruto-Arena Portal forum.
Our Naruto-Arena Portal forum also has thousands of posts and useful information on Naruto-Arena, and the "Naruto Roleplay Section". The forum is opened to everyone, so feel free to sign up as a forum member anytime, even if you are not joining our clan.
In addition, we also have our very own [url=irc://irc.rizon.net:6667/Kusanagi]IRC channel[/url], which is opened to everyone as well.

========================= Clan Requirements =========================

To join our clan, you will need to meet the requirements below.
If you meet the requirements and are interested in joining our clan, please PM HeartofSword.
Requirement #1
You need to either pass the Win/Loss Ratio Test or the Win-Streak Test.
Note: You just need to pass one of them, NOT both.
To pass the Win/Loss Ratio Test, you must have a minimum win/loss ratio depending on the number of wins you have.
Quote:
Number of Wins - Win/Loss ratio required
~ 50 to 99 Wins- 10:1 ratio
~ 100 to 149 Wins- 5:1 ratio
~ 150 to 299 Wins- 3:1 ratio
~ 300 to 499 Wins- 2.5:1 ratio
~ 500 to 999 Wins- 2:1 ratio
~ 1000 Wins or more- 1.5:1 ratio
~ Top 10 Wins (with 2000 wins or more) - Any ratio
For example:
100 Wins : 20 Losses -> 5:1 ratio
You take the number of wins and divide it by the number of losses.
To pass the Win-Streak Test, you need to achieve one of the following streaks and have a win/loss ratio of at least 2:1.
The higher your rank at which you achieve the streaks, the less the number of streaks need.
Quote:
Win Streak - Minimum rank
+30 Streak- Hokage/Sannin
+35 Streak- Jounin
+40 Streak- Special Jounin
And a minimum win/loss ratio of 2:1.
Requirement #2
Your "Highest Ladder Rank Achieved" must be between 1 to 20.
Requirement #3
This is a practical assessment of your skills via private battle.
You must meet Requirements #1 and #2 before you can attempt this assessment.
PM any of the Espada squad members, Dragon-Tamer or me to tell him/her that you want to join our clan and need to have a private battle with him/her.
We will look out for how you play the game during the assessment.
To pass, you will need to make the examiner/assessor feel that you played the game well.
Hence losing does NOT necessarily mean that you failed the test or cannot join our clan.
Requirement #4
Be loyal to our clan.
Requirement #5
You should be reasonably active on our Naruto-Arena Portal forum or our IRC channel.
Please kindly let me know if you are going to be inactive for a duration of time.

After joining our clan, kindly follow the simple instructions below to get access to our clan forum and get your clan avatar:
1. Create your forum account at http://narutoportal.forumup.com/.
When creating the account, please use the same name as your Naruto-Arena username.
Then, let either Heartofsword, Cavester or Dangerdoom know your forum username.
If you have any problems creating the account or have not received the activationn email, please visit this page.
If that does not solve your problem, PM HeartofSword.
Please do NOT create new accounts when you have problems creating or using your forum account.
2. After joining our Kusanagi Clan, your avatar needs to have "Kusanagi" AND your Username. This is to prevent avatar thefts. To do this, you can
- use one of our ready-made Kusanagi avatars and add your username.
- ask a GFX-nin to add "Kusanagi" and your username to your current avatar.
- ask a GFX-nin to create a Kusanagi avatar based on your specifications.
3. Visit us at our clan's IRC channel [url=irc://irc.rizon.net:6667/Kusanagi]#Kusanagi[/url] and add the [Kusanagi] tag in front of your nickname.

========================= Graphics-nin Applications =========================
We are also currently looking for people who have the abilities to become one of our graphics-nins.
To join our clan as a graphics-nin,
Requirement #1
You must be good at either:
- naruto fanart
- or avatar, signature and banner making
Requirement #2
You need to show us your past works as proof that you fit the bill. If possible it will be best to give us the link to your gallery of works.

Requirement #3
Finally, you will need to accomplish a graphic mission that I give you.
After joining our Kusanagi Clan, you must be actively involved in helping out with graphics requests from Kusanagi Clan members.
Being inactive without letting me know could get you the boot if many people think that you have not been doing your job.
