Well I haven't noticed a topic posted about this(Which I really can't understand why) so I figured I would share one of my favorite and most inspirational books i have ever read with you all. I'm pretty sure some of you have heard if it. It is called "Tuesdays With Morrie".FOr those of you who are not familiar with this book, I shall explain it in short detail."Tuesdays With Morrie" is about a very sharp and intelligent college professor who was diagnosed with ALS or more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He enjoyed eating as well as dancing. He cared for his students dearly especially one of the other main characters in the story, Mitch.Mitch is a man who has about three jobs. He has a radio Broadcast show. A local news section as well as a sportscaster for another company. He has a girlfriend who he has been together with for 7 years. But as fate would have it Mitch is always on the deadlines of everything whether it be his jobs or his personal life. His girlfriend, Janene to which he has loved for 7 years" has waited a long time for Mitch to propose to her. Unfortunately enough, Mitch is not ready yet for a relationship or as Morrie says "He is afraid of life itself".After hearing about his favorite college professor's illness he pays a visit to him on a Tuesday.Soon Mitch realizes he has much to learn about life. So every Tuesday he would pay a visit to Morrie. He would interview him about his views on life as well as on things such as Love and Death. But what Mitch soon realizes is that Morrie is actually teaching him in the process. Now then I won't say much else, because I do not wish to spoil certain parts of the book. But I do recommend that you read it if you haven't read it and are looking for inspiration.
