#1 kakashi did jutsu imitation and copied odama rasengan...but when used it only did a stun and no dmg?

Was Kyuubi Boost used? -If so, when in relation to the jutsu copy? -There is no way there was any destructible defense on the field that could have absorbed the damage and confused you, right? Oodama Rasengan does not stun on it's own, it must be preceded by Kyuubi boost to do so. If Kakashi copied Kyuubi boost, then that's the skill he should have gotten. Boost. If Kakashi copied Oodama Rasengan without the boost, it should not stun. If Kakashi copies it on the turn after Boost is used, /theoretically/ he should stun with it every time he uses it.
