i hate ppl who don't care for others that's why i despite haruhi.

eventhough yuki is a total book worm i like her cuz she's cool (especially in the fight against asakura and when they played baseball). plus she shows more care for the others then haruhi (taking care of mikuru on that island when she fainted, putting that jacket over kyon when he fell asleep that cold day and such) and never forces anyone to do anything.

Sure we aren't time travelers or aliens, but each of us is unique. Considering that Haruhi had the power to change the world, she did care for everyone. In some level of her sub-consciousness. Had she not cared for anyone but Kyon, the series would of only had Kyon & Haruhi in it and the world they lived in would of been different.
Besides, it was Haruhi's wish to meet up with Alien, time traveler and ESPers. Those then came there out of their own free will while being forced to come there by Haruhi's wish. It's just like in case of "God" and the people praying for him. They're free to do whatever they want, but at the same time they are not allowed to commit any of the ten commands and so on..

But true, probably, Haruhi didn't show it on outside that she cared for others, because she was ultimately interested in the aliens, time travelers and ESPers.

As the season came to end, she did start acting differently.

At least that's how I see things.

Character development

She haven't / hadn't found out it in her own conscious yet that she's just as unique as everyone else is.
But seeing that you hate the person already, I don't see much point in arguing or much like discussing of this.

oh well...

btw i really find it funny how they gave kyon and itsuke totally opposide personalities

kyon never smiles or laughs while itsuki is always happy
itsuki is haruhi's bitch (does everything she tells him to) while kyon never agrees with her
kyon is secretely a perv while itsuki is secretely gay (u'r blind if u didn't notice that lol)
