I F***ING LOVE THIS GAME!

I played the second one, and it was ok. But I thought it was interesting how
Spoiler
Jack turned out to be Garet, I think it was, and Rudy was the same as the Demons, pretty much.

if you love the 1st wild arms, then you definitely have to buy alter code f. its soooo much better than the original, with additional storyline, additional chars(yes you can use zed, also calamity jane), and fairly good graphics plus the gameplay is pretty pretty solid. rudy uses an arms now not a sword like in WA1 during battles. plus the original theme is still there, which totally rocks!. i like the wild arms series no matter what other people say bec its unique. not those common theme like sword and magic and stuff. this one has a western style theme(like cowboys but way cooler and those wicked ARMs ancient relic machines). it's fresh. no rpg has focus more emphasis on guns rather than swords.

favorite part in wild arms 1 is when you visit old man zepet's cabin.
Spoiler
there you discover rudys origins, how his good with the arms. also my other favorite part is when they found out that his a holmcross. i didnt saw that coming back then

alter coe f intro
original intro
the original was the best imo.
but wild arms 2 (2nd ignition) both intro disc 1 n 2 was so much better. i just dont like the graphics. they should have just stayed with 2d. much better. like persona 2d graphics.

thats why i bought that game. i was gonna replay WA 1 for old time sake, but when i found out about this game, i bought a ps2 immediately that time. thats how a big fan i am. the gameplay is really solid and nice. rudy now uses different cartridges - WA 2 style (like ashley van riot) rather than different arms. you can also use emma and jane's butler. alot of cutscenes too! plus this game comes w/ a dvd of wild arms tv anime. i think this game is kinda rare now.

if you enjoy WA 2, then get wild arms 5. cause you can get a costume that can change you to knight blazer(nine lives) vid. if you have alter coed f, you can use the saved game file to load wild arms 4 and 5. theres an easter egg check gamefaq.

@alexdude5: when i first heard about Mär, i thought so too. about ARMs.
