How to make a basic Forum Signature For Begginers

#1 To get the best of what i'm offering here, i'd suggest photoshop CS,CS2, or CS3. Gimp would work though. 1)Open up gimp or ps, make a new layer 400X100 or whatever size u want it to be. Make it transparent. 2)Get a render from now, u'll see why later. Try photobucket.com for example: Uchiha itachi render. u'll get alot of results. 2)Take the Fill bucket tool and choose either black or white according to your render. u can choose whichever u want. 3)after you've done that, make a new layer and put your render in it. You may have to resize it in order to fit. 4)Now for the hard-stuff, the darn brushes, lol. anyway, go to deviantart.com and u want to download some Grunge brushes for Gimp, u'll get alot of them. Either those or Abstract. they both work well with sig's. -->i chose a different abstract brushes set, but i can't find it, so this will do just fine 5)Download them! 6)After that, Load your brushes and click on your background layer (the one that's black or white) and choose which color u want, it should match the render. then just sprinkle them across the canvas. (if u chose red, and the sig is black then add some black brushing on some parts of it, make it light and not-so-showing. same if it was white). 7)After that, (i dont really know if you can do this in Gimp) just go to layer-->Duplicate layer and place the layer behind the render layer and in front of the background. -->See how the duplicated layer is behind the render layer and infront of the background. 8)Go to Filter-->blur-->Motion blur (Remember it should be in the duplicate layer!!) and make it 8xp or so. 9)By now u should have a semi-ready sig 10)now it's time for the text!! Go to Dafont.com, download some fonts! I'd recommend sell your soul, visitor and birth of a hero. 11)Just type anything there with any color, although it should make the sig look good. 12)after that, it's time for the borders! or the strokes, lol. in ps click on the background layer, then go to layer style-stroke and choose the same color you chose for your text, make it 1xp. For GIMP i think you'll find it somewhere in the filters. The stroke may not seem nice, or does not look good, don't worry! Just save it as .Png and open it again! and stroke it the same way as before, it'll turn out good Well, i made another one. it's my sig! lol 13)And there you go, a forum sig for beginners!
