There used to be anofficial thread for it, but it's dead.

The new eps are on nick in about a week. But a few of them were leaked on to youtube a head of time.

A good probability as to why you never heard of is because despite what the lot of people here think, Avatar the last airbender is not an anime.

To be an anime you have to meet the following conditions:
1. It had to have been created in Japan.
2.It would have to at least had a sub'd version once upon a blue moon.
3. Unless it was dubbed by 4kids, there should actually be some blood.

Avatar is commonly mistake for an anime because it's not like the other trash Nickelodeon puts of t.v ig it has a story and the characters aren't completely unbarble.

As to answer your question it is indeed an good show, the creator used alot of martial arts in it's creation, the music isn't bad, and the story isn't exactly average. Downsides of it though is that it's an American show which means it'll go on hiatus for who knows how long, and you won't be able to predict when they'll air it again.
