He watches shounen anime. But once he said that shounen anime don't excite him much.

Anyway i watched the first episode of Saint Seiya. I like Greek mythology. It was a preety good episode. I got used to the animation already and it is good. The music is OK too. The only thing i don't like is that Seiya uses only one attack with name for now...
Overall i like it for now.

Yeah, the typical shonen doesn't.
The kind where boy A gains mystical powers, becomes godlike and wins.
But many of great series are labeled as shonen too.
Neon Genesis Evangelion, for example.

NGE is shounen...? That must be a mistake or something...

Well, I haven't honestly heard people referring to NGE as "seinen" often.
Thought Wikipedia says it's both, Shounen & Seinen, ANN says it's rated "Teenagers"

The series itself does fill the requirements of "shonen", even thought it does play with themes that may be hard to understand for it's audience.

Yes, I do like shounen, but I'm quite picky on what I define as "good" shounen.

Hmm, the theme is just too mature and complex for younger teens. NGE is seinen in my book.

It likely is too complex. But, I personally think it's more of something between the two.
Shonen label is there likely to gain bigger audience anyways. Mecha sells. Had it been "seinen mecha" it probably wouldn't have sold as well as it did in it's airing time.
But really, the series does fill the requirements for both of the genres.

Anyways, Sadamoto's manga is labeled as both, seinen & shonen and it is published in shonen ace.

Buh, don't think I got the energy to think through this now..

Seeing as my Soul Eater download just finished up, I'll close my browser now, watch the episode and hit the hay. In other words, G' Night!

Oh boy.
I don't really know about this anime.
Firstly, I certainly love the butler's suit.
Animation is indeed detailed and looks good.
But.
These bishonens go just too far for me.
I never could really stand bishonen's.
Especially not the kinds that are like this.
Not that there's anything wrong, but I can already hear the yaoi-fangirls screaming over this anime.

Although the ending of the first episode was somewhat "OK", I'm in doubt. I may drop this.

i cant resist, but has anyone seen this anime kodomo no jikan. its really funny...so far (just started watching it). i decided to watch this after staying to long on my waiting list. and its really interesting. i really dont like anime of this kind, you will know what im talking about when you watch it.

btw guys whos your fav soul eater character??? theres so many cool characters in that anime(really)... i cant wait to see the other 4 warriors from reaper's personal unit. only 3 showed up.

i have 2 questions from soul eater:

1. the 8th warriors of reaper, are they all deathscythes or not??? cause asura wasnt a deathsycthe. and reaper was asking all his 8 deathscythes to come to shibusen after the demon lord escaped...so i was confused in this part. 8th warriors are reapers personal unit and i think it was also his deathscythe. i remember asura swallowing his sword in one of the episodes so his not a deathscythe.

2. how come crona's black blood became small, like his sword - its thinner now??? what happen... made no sense.

guys would it be a good idea to make an anime review. like ANN style fall preview.
example is we review anime/s, and each of us gives our opinion about the anime/s from our point of view.
im not yet sure if we should review the fall preview animes or some new animes that just finished though. lol.

my fav. character is death the kid and the sisters they're pretty funny, i dont really like black star though probably my least fav. out of the main characters.

alos i have seen kodomo jinkan and yea its pretty funny i enjoyed watching it atleast

Urrr, I would have to say my least favorites are currently Maka & Soul.
They're the least messed up characters.

From Soul Eater i like Maka and Tsubaki. The character i don't like is Black Star.
I have 2 questions about the character battles:
1. When will Bleach and Clannad characters be in a battle?(Don't put them in the same group if possible)
2. Was Death the Kid the only character from Soul Eater?

And Clannad after story is amazing.

I like Bleach. Do you have a problem with that?

As for Clannad's story..
Well, it's pretty much same as all Key's productions..only theme's has changed.
Supposedly Clannad is also the one with "happy ending" of all three Key's productions.
But yeah, the story is quite touching at times, thought I have to admit I liked Kanon more than Clannad.

stein is pretty cool too. i know that black star is not that cool bec his kinda annoying but his pretty decent too, esp after acquiring the fey blade. also he used to belong to a clan of assassin. i rank him alittle bit higher than maka n soul. since maka hasnt developed yet...into a good fighter. she has the demon slayer blood...

what irretates me with death the kid is how he holds his guns. i just dont like it. but his really cool. i like patty, she's just crazy. remember that episode about the test. soul was trying to cheat. and he saw patty making a giraffe. lol. i like patty's side when she becomes crazy, her personality changes completely. even kid listens to her.

but did anyone notice that asura hair looks alittle bit like kid. theres white on his hair???

also remember that part where the rat chick and the cat chick were fighting. the fish vendor was having a feast watching them. lol.

btw guys, im looking for a pic of reaper's old form. you know that time when he was fighting against asura. i cant seem to find one. i wanna use it as my ava. thanx.

Why not? They didn't cosplay just Hintata. There were even L, Tsunade, Hollow Ichigo, Itachi,Deidara, Sasori and lots more.

Well, since you've dragged cosplaying here..
I'll make it even better.

Final Fantasy Fight & More Final Fantasy Fight.

Now for ones who may not get the idea,
The thing with FFFight is that the ones cosplaying makes a similar fight to the ones seen in Final Fantasy games. Turn based attacking with characters from various shows.
Thought since the most commonly cosplayed characters are from Naruto, Bleach and One Piece in Finland..it shows.
Anyways, it's something fans do for other fans and of course, to enjoy themselves.
Neither of the videos if by me and certainly more videos can be found from youtube. I hope so at least..

While were at the same topic, here's something great, too.
