#1 alright everyone listen up i haven't been updating since i haven't been playing this so much recently. i might need some help to get this mission guide back up. please message me with new teams and all, and i'll get this guide back up and where you need it. --------- Alright, as most of you know, you do missions to unlock new characters. This guide will show you what are the requirements for each mission, and what you unlock for missions. It's just for referencing, for convenience so that all the missions are on one page. Please criticize, complement, and tell me what I can do to make this guide better for you. Thanks D and C Rank Missions Mission Name: Sasuke's Quest For Power Mission Description: After Uchiha Sasuke received the curse seal from Orochimaru, Sasuke has been completely possessed by his lust for power. There is no place for friends in his world. In order to show Orochimaru that he is worthy, Sasuke has to defeat all Konoha ninja atleast once. Once Sasuke has proven himself worthy, the Sound Four will make contact and bring Sasuke to Orochimaru. Requirements: Defeat 12 Konoha Ninja with Sasuke. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura(Team 7) Strategy: Prepare any of them as soon as you can, then use Sasuke's Sharingan on an opponent. Right after use Chidori, or if u can the same turn, use Naruto's Rasengan also. Then continue doing taijutsu attacks while waiting for ninjutsu, especially Sakura's KO Punch. Konoha Ninja: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Shino, Hinata, Kiba, Rock Lee, Neji, Tenten, Chouji, Ino, Shikamaru, Iruka, Kurenai, Gai, Kakashi, Asuma, Anko, Kyuubi Naruto, Shizune, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Nidaime, Shodaime, Sandaime Mission Name: The Search For Jiroubou Mission Description: After Uchiha Sasuke left the village with the Sound Four, Naruto has been given the order to form a small group to rescue Sasuke. Akimichi Chouji wants to join, but he will have to train to improve his strength. Once Chouji is strong enough, he will be able to face Jiroubou and win. Requirements: Win 4 battles in a row with Chouji in your team. Suggested Team: Chouji-Shikamaru-Sakura Strategy: The strategy here is stunning and spiking. First as soon as you can eat a pill for Chouji, and heal him. Then use Shikamaru's Meditate and then Shadow Bind as soon as you can. During that use Chouji's meat tank and eat the 2nd pill to take out a bunch of an opponent's health. Follow up with KO Punch to the opponent thats the most dangerous, and make sure to keep Chouji invulnerable: pill-meat tank-pill-replacement-meat tank-pill. You will be almost invincible if used the right way. Character Unlocked: Jiroubou Mission Name: The Search for Kidoumaru Mission Description: After Uchiha Sasuke left the village with the Sound Four, Naruto has been given the order to form a small group to rescue Sasuke. Hyuuga Neji wants to join, but he will have to train to improve his strength. Once Neji is strong enough, he will be able to face Kidoumaru and win. Requirements: Win 4 battles in a row with Neji in your team. Suggested Team: Neji-Kin-Shino Strategy: To win, you'll need to quickly take out the opponent's chakra so they cannot do any moves. Prepare Kin first thing, and right away once u can, use Neji's Eight-Trigam Sixty-Four Palms Technique. Once Shino has bugs on all targets, you'll be on your way to victory. Character Unlocked: Kidoumaru Mission Name: The Search For Tayuya Mission Description: After Uchiha Sasuke left the village with the Sound Four, Naruto has been given the order to form a small group to rescue Sasuke. Shikamaru wants to join, and he will be supported by Temari. But they will have to learn to work together first. Once Shikamaru and Temari have learned to work together, they will be able to face Tayuya and win. Requirements: Win 6 battles in a row with Shikamaru and Temari in your team. Suggested Team: Shikamaru-Temari-Tenten Strategy: This team is fairly simple to use, and very noob-friendly. Use Shikamaru's Meditate and Tenten's Summoning Twin Rising Dragons. If you don't have enough chakra to use Shikamaru's Shadow Bind Technique, use Tenten's Twin Rising Dragons Trap. Once you have shadow bind on, finish them with tenten and temari's AoE moves. Character Unlocked: Tayuya Mission Name:The Search For Sakon Mission Description: After Uchiha Sasuke left the village with the Sound Four, Naruto has been given the order to form a small group to rescue Sasuke. Kiba wants to join, and he will be supported by Kankuro. But they will have to learn to work together first. Once Kiba and Kankuro have learned to work together, they will be able to face Sakon and win. Requirements: Win 8 battles in a row with Kiba and Kankuro in your team. Suggested Team: Kiba-Kankuro-Sasuke Strategy: Keep pounding the opponent with this team, and you can win very easily. Use Kiba and Kankuro's preparations, and once u can hit the other team with Double-Headed Wolf. The next turn, use either Kankuro's BSTOMS, or Sasuke's Chidori to take out one opponent. Just keep doing that to all 3 opponents, and you win. Character Unlocked: Sakon Mission Name: Descent Into Darkness Mission Description: One of only two surviving members of the Uchiha Clan, Sasuke is a tormented soul. Living only for revenge against his brother Itachi who killed their entire clan, Sasuke will go to any means necesary to achieve his goal, even allying with Orochimaru. What price will Sasuke pay for vengence? Requirements: Win a battle against Zabuza with Sasuke. Win a battle against Haku with Sasuke. Win a battle against Lee with Sasuke. Win a battle against Zaku with Sasuke. Win a battle against Gaara with Sasuke. Win a battle against 2 of the Sound Four with Sasuke. Win 2 battles against Naruto with Sasuke. Win 6 battles in a row with Sasuke in your team. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura Strategy: Prepare any of them as soon as you can, then use Sasuke's Sharingan on an opponent. Right after use Chidori, or if u can the same turn, use Naruto's Rasengan also. Then continue doing taijutsu attacks while waiting for ninjutsu, especially Sakura's KO Punch. Character Unlocked: Cursed Seal Sasuke Mission Name: The Redemption Of Gaara Mission Description: Follow Gaara down his path of darkness and his trials and tribulations. Can those around him guide him down a path toward light and good-will? The ultimate test of a shinobi is not whether they can defeat their enemies, but whether they can defeat themselves. Requirements: Win 1 battle against Lee with Gaara. Win 1 battle against Dosu with Gaara. Win 1 battle against Gaara with Sasuke. Win 1 battle against Lee with Kimimaro. Win 2 battles against Kimimaro with Gaara. Win 6 battles in a row with Gaara on your team. Suggested Team: Gaara-Lee-Ino Strategy: Wait until you get either two gen, two tai, or three nin before making your move. Once that happens, quickly take out one of them and the game is yours. When used carefully, you can make the opponent extremely frustrated. Character Unlocked: Gaara Rehabilitated Mission Name: The Sounds Amongst The Leaves Mission Description: Orochimaru wants Yoroi to be at full strength when he faces Sasuke in the Chuunin Exams, so he has ordered the Sound Genin to gather the necesary scrolls for both themselves and Kabuto's team. Failure is not an option. Requirements: Win 8 battles in a row with at least one member of the Sound Genin. Suggested Team: Dosu, Kin, Zaku(Sound Genin Team) Strategy: Prepare Kin and Dosu first thing in the game. Then use Dosu's Vibrating Sound Drill to take 40 damage and make the opponent unable to defend. Hit them with Zaku's Extreme Air Cutter, and then Kin's Illusion Replacement Attack. You should win easily with the right combinations. Character Unlocked: Akado Yoroi Mission Name: A Rare Opportunity Mission Description: Team 8 is watching the developing fight between the Sand Siblings and a team of Rain Genin. As the fight begins to go badly for the Rain Genin, Shigure, Team 8 must decide whether they have the courage to save him from an unnecesary death. Requirements: Defeat 3 Sand Siblings with Hinata in your team. Defeat 3 Sand Siblings with Shino in your team. Defeat 3 Sand Siblings with Kiba in your team. Suggested Team: Hinata-Shino-Kiba(Team 8) Strategy: This team might be a little difficult to use at first. If you have no bloodline during the game, then you'll practically screwed. Prepare Hinata and Kiba as soon as you can. Right away use Double-Headed-Wolf. Then take away chakra with Hinata's Gentle Fist and Shino's Bug Leeching. While they have no chakra, kill them all with Garouga. Character Unlocked: Shigure Mission Name: A Downpour Of Illusion Mission Description: There is a little known fact but Oboro and his team never should have made it to the Chuunin Exams. In fact they would all be dead if it was not for Shigure saving their lives during a C rank mission as Genin. Relive that time when Shigure defeated 15 ninjas to save his fellow Rain Nin. Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with Shigure in your team. Suggested Team: Shigure-Tenten-Temari Strategy: Prepare Tenten and Shigure, and keep hitting them with AoE(Area Of Effect) attacks. #2 B-Rank Missions Mission Name: The First Mission Mission Description: After Naruto finally graduated from the academy, he was assigned to team Kakashi. Together with Sasuke and Sakura Naruto must complete several basic missions until they finally get a real ninja mission. Requirements: Win 8 battles with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura in your team. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura(Team 7) Strategy: Prepare any of them as soon as you can, then use Sasuke's Sharingan on an opponent. Right after use Chidori, or if u can the same turn, use Naruto's Rasengan also. Then continue doing taijutsu attacks while waiting for ninjutsu, especially Sakura's KO Punch. Mission Name: Devotion Mission Description: With Zabuza still beaten and injured from his fight with Kakashi, Haku must safeguard the missing-nin from those who would try to kill him. The life a missing-nin is hard and so is the life of their underlings. Haku must win at least fifteen battles before Zabuza recovers and can join him on the battlefield. Requirements: Win 15 battles with Haku in your team. Suggested Team: Haku-Tenten-Kankuro Strategy: This is a stunning/AoE team. What you do is stun them with Tenten's Twin Rising Dragons Trap. Use Kankuro's poison on them, and once you use Haku's Acupuncture to stun them all two turns. Hit them all with Haku's Demonic Needles and Tenten's Twin Rising Dragons for two turns and you'll win. Character Unlocked: Zabuza Mission Name: A Small Test Mission Description: The chuunin exams are coming up, and Kakashi believes his team is up for the challenge. But to be sure, he will put each of his pupils to the test first. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura must each prove their endurance on the battle field. Requirements: Win 4 battles in a row with Naruto in your team. Win 4 battles in a row with Sasuke in your team. Win 4 battles in a row with Sakura in your team. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura(Team 7) Strategy: Prepare any of them as soon as you can, then use Sasuke's Sharingan on an opponent. Right after use Chidori, or if u can the same turn, use Naruto's Rasengan also. Then continue doing taijutsu attacks while waiting for ninjutsu, especially Sakura's KO Punch. Mission Name: Survival Mission Description: During the second exam team Kakashi was heavily assaulted by Orochimaru and his subordinates. In order to survive the rest of the exam and actually pas it, they will need some help. Fortunately Kabuto appears to be in the neighbourhood and willing to help. However to get to him, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura will have to survive some battles on their own first. Requirements: Win 10 battles with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura in your team. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura(Team 7) Character Unlocked: Yakushi Kabuto Mission Name: The Fifth of the Sound Mission Description: Kimimaro is completely devoted to Orochimaru heart and soul, and only continues to live to serve Orochimaru to the fullest. Despite having a wasting disease and being on his death-bed, Kimimaro will rise to any task which is required of him and will fulfill Orochimaru's desires. Now, with the sound four running into trouble and the possibility of Sasuke being rescued, Kimimaro rises to stop those who would interfere with his master's plans. Each of the Sound Four must win 4 battles in a row before Kimimaru will make his appearance. Requirements: Win 4 battles in a row with Kidoumaru. Win 4 battles in a row with Sakon. Win 4 battles in a row with Tayuya. Win 4 battles in a row with Jiroubou. Suggested Teams: Kidoumaru-Naruto-Lee Sakon-Dosu-Kankuro Tayuya-Kidoumaru-Jiroubou Jiroubou-Sakura-Chouji Strategies: (Kidoumaru-Naruto-Lee) This team has a lot of combos. One combo you can use is Kidoumaru's Golden Arrow and Naruto's Rasengan on the same opponent to kill someone. Another is using either one of Spider Web or Rasengan to stun someone, and then using Lee's Lotus for another kill. (Sakon-Dosu-Kankuro) Another spiking team. Use either Dosu Vibrating Sound Drill or Sakon's Gattling Punch to deal 40 damage, and Kankuro to kill. This team is very easy to win if used probably. (Tayuya-Kidoumaru-Jiroubou) This team is based on damage reduction and AoE attacks. Use Tayuya's Doki Summoning, Kidoumaru's Summoning Kyodaigumo, and Jiroubou's Earth Style Mud Cannonball to easily take down opponents and reduce damage done to the team. (Jiroubou-Chouji-Sakura) Use Chouji to keep invulnerable for five or even 10 rounds in a row: pill(1st round)-meat tank-pill-replacement-meat tank-pill, which equals to 3 pills taken over 5 rounds. If Jiroubou has enough ninjutsu, use Dungeon Chamber of Nothingness to make Chouji invulnerable even more. All you need to do is remember to heal Chouji. Mission Name: The Search For Kimimaro Mission Description: After Uchiha Sasuke left the village with the Sound Four, Naruto has been given the order to form a small group to rescue Sasuke. Rock Lee wants to join, and he will be supported by Gaara. But they will have to learn to work together first. Once Lee and Gaara have learned to work together, they will be able to face Kimimaro and win. Requirements: Win 4 battles in a row with Gaara and Lee in your team. Suggested Team: Gaara-Lee-Ino Strategy: Wait until you get either two genjutsu, two taijutsu, or three ninjutsu before making your move. Once that happens, quickly take out one of them with either Crushing Sand Coffin or Lotus and the game is yours. When used carefully, you can make the opponent extremely frustrated. Character Unlocked: Kaguya Kimimaro Mission Name: Medical Training Mission Description: After Sasuke left Konoha to join Orochimaru, Sakura was determined to get stronger. Up until now Sakura was always unable to play a decent role in battle, yet she had great controle over her charka and she is an excellent student. These are the exact skills that are needed to become a medical ninja. Sakura hopes to get training from Tsunade herself, but first she will need to learn the basics from Shizune. However, to actually get training from Shizune, Sakura will have to prove herself worthy. Prove Sakura's healing ability by winning 15 battles with Sakura in your team. Requirements: Win 15 battles with Sakura in your team. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura Character Unlocked: Shizune Mission Name: The Rise of A Jinchuuriki Mission Description: Shortly after he was born, Yondaime sealed the Kyuubi demon within Naruto. Leading the life of an outcast, Naruto has made it his goal to become the Hokage and earn the respect of all Konoha. But can Naruto tame the beast inside him? Requirements: Win a battle against Zabuza with Naruto. Win a battle against Haku with Naruto. Win a battle against Kiba with Naruto. Win a battle against Neji with Naruto. Win a battle against Gaara with Naruto. Win a battle against Kabuto with Naruto. Win a battle against Kimimaro with Naruto. Win 2 battles against Sasuke with Naruto. Win 6 battles in a row with Naruto in your team. Character Unlocked: Kyuubi Naruto Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura Mission Name: The Survivor Of The Seal Mission Description: Orochimaru has infiltrated the Chuunin Exams and Anko is out to hunt him down and confront him. But first she has to be sure none of the genins will get caught up in the fight, as things may get messy. Requirements: Win 2 battles with Team 7 (Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke). Win 2 battles with Team 8 (Shino, Kiba, Hinata). Win 2 battles with Team 9 (Lee, Neji, Tenten). Win 2 battles with Team 10 (Shikamaru, Chouji, Ino). Win 2 battles with the Sand Team (Gaara, Temari, Kankuro). Win 2 battles with the Sound Genin (Dosu, Kin, Zaku). Character Unlocked: Mitarashi Anko Mission Name: The Duty of A Sensei Mission Description: The students of Iruka have graduated and are now with their Jounin team leaders, but Iruka is still hesitant about returning to doing missions. He wants to know that his former students no longer need his guidance. Show Iruka his students are all grown up! Requirements: Win 2 battles in a row with Naruto in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Sakura in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Sasuke in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Shino in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Kiba in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Hinata in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Shikamaru in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Chouji in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Ino in your team. Character Unlocked: Umino Iruka Mission Name: Mist Ascendant Mission Description: Zabuza is looking to hire the Demon Brothers to do some of his dirty work, but they are sceptical of his strength. Zabuza must show the Demon Brothers he is a ninja that should not be trifled with. Requirements: Win 10 battles with Zabuza in your team. Win 5 battles with Haku in your team. Win 3 battles in a row with Zabuza and Haku in your team. Suggested Team: Zabuza-Haku-Tenten Strategy: Stunning. Thats the only word you need. All three characters have stunning moves, so you can hurt them while another two of your characters attack. #3 A-Rank Missions Mission Name: Team Of Kakashi Mission Description: Kakashi just sits on his butt and reads Icha-Icha tactics all day and Team 7 is getting frustrated. Kakashi believes they only prevailed in their last mission because of himself. Kakashi won't put down his book and rejoin Team 7 until they can prove their last success wasn't a fluke. Prove that Kakashi is wrong and that Team 7 has what it takes. Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke will have to defeat Kiba, Ino and Gaara for the chuunin exam. Requirements: Win 5 battles against Kiba and/or Haku with Naruto. Win 4 battles in a row with Naruto in your team. Win 5 battles against Ino and/or Dosu with Sakura. Win 4 battles in a row with Sakura in your team. Win 5 battles against Gaara and/or Naruto with Sasuke. Win 4 battles in a row with Sasuke in your team. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura(Team 7) Mission Name: Team 7 Fights As A Team Mission Description: Kakashi has always thought working as a team is most important. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura will have to prove Kakashi to be the perfect team. Together they will fight versus the sound ninjas. If the three genins are able to prove to Kakashi, their ability to work in a team, Kakashi will join them on their next missions. Requirements: Defeat 75 Sound, Sand, and/or Mist Nin with atleast one member of Team 7. Suggested Team: Naruto-Sasuke-Sakura(Team 7) Character Unlocked: Kakashi Hatake Mission Name: Team Of Kurenai Mission Description: The Hokage plans to give Team 8 an A-rank mission but Kurenai, their leader, objects. She believes her team is too weak and it would only risk their lives unnecessarily. After hearing this, Kiba, Hinata, and Shino set out to improve their strength as individuals. Kiba will face Naruto, Hinata will face Neji and Shino will face Kankuro. If the genins are successful in impressing Kurenai she will allow them to take the mission. Requirements: Win 5 battles against Naruto and/or Sakon with Kiba. Win 4 battles in a row with Kiba in your team. Win 5 battles against Neji and/or Sakura with Hinata. Win 4 battles in a row with Hinata in your team. Win 5 battles against Kankuro and/or Zaku with Shino. Win 4 battles in a row with Shino in your team. Suggested Team: Kiba-Hinata-Shino Mission Name: Team 8 Scouting At Its Best Mission Description: After succeeding in the Rank B mission it is finally time for a Rank A mission. With their excellent scouting abilities Kiba, Hinata and Shino will be sent to the Mist, Sound and Sand villages to ensure Konoha's world position. Meanwhile they have to face a lot of ninjas in order to survive. If the genins complete the mission successfully Kurenai will fully acknowledge her team and will aid them whenever needed. Requirements: Defeat 6 Mist Nin with Kiba. Defeat 10 Sand Nin with Hinata. Defeat 15 Sound Nin with Shino. Suggested Team: Kiba-Hinata-Shino Character Unlocked: Yuhi Kurenai Mission Name: Team Of Gai Mission Description: Being a ninja, especially in taijutsu, constant training is a must. Gai thinks his team could still improve and what is better then fighting against other ninjas? The three ninjas will get into a fight with Gaara, Temari and Hinata. If his team succeeds they will be ready for a Rank A mission. Requirements: Win 5 battles against Gaara and/or Kimimaro with Lee. Win 4 battles in a row with Lee in your team. Win 5 battles against Temari and/or Neji with Tenten. Win 4 battles in a row with Tenten in your team. Win 5 battles against Hinata and/or Naruto with Neji. Win 4 battles in a row with Neji in your team. Suggested Team: Lee-Gaara-Ino: Check Mission "The Search For Kimimaro" Tenten-Temari-Shikamaru: Check Mission "The Search For Tayuya" Neji-Hinata-Kin: Check Mission "The Search For Kidoumaru" Mission Name: Team 9 The Best Taijutsu Team Mission Description: Gai's way of the ninja is to proof that you can be a good ninja with using only taijutsu. His team consists of members that mostly use taijutsu. Gai wants his team to be the overall best taijutsu team of Konoha. In order to test this, he sets up a tournament with various battles between his members and other taijutsu genin in Konoha. Fight with Neji, Lee and Tenten versus the other Taijutsu users in Konoha: Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Chouji, Hinata and Kiba. If Gai's team wins the most battles he will join his genin on future missions. Requirements: Defeat 15 taijustu using Konoha Nin with Lee. Defeat 15 taijustu using Konoha Nin with Tenten. Defeat 15 taijustu using Konoha Nin with Neji. Suggested Team: Check above Character Unlocked: Maito Gai Mission Name: Team Of Asuma Mission Description: Asuma is troubled since the Hokage will not give Team 10 any A-Rank missions. The Hokage says the genins in Team 10 are lazy, weak, or untalented and are not fit for such a mission. Asuma knows better about his pupils and believes in them, so he pushes his team for all they are worth to prove their strength to the Hokage. First he wants them to individually train and fight. The three genins end up in a fight with Temari, Sakura and Jiroubou. Requirements: Win 5 battles against Temari and/or Tayuya with Shikamaru. Win 4 battles in a row with Shikamaru in your team. Win 5 battles against Dosu and/or Jiroubou with Chouji. Win 4 battles in a row with Chouji in your team. Win 5 battles against Sakura and/or Kin with Ino. Win 4 battles in a row with Ino in your team. Suggested Team: Chouji-Ino-Shikamaru Strategy: Stun them with Shikamaru as soon as you can, then hit them hard with Ino's Mind Disturbance and Chouji's Meat Tank. You should have at least 2 pills on him soon, because without that you won't be doing that great damage. After that it should be a easy win, unless u get low on genjutsu or bloodline. Mission Name: Team 10 Fights Vs. The Sound Mission Description: It's time for a Rank A mission! While the Sound and Leaf country are still in war, Shikamaru, Chouji and Ino are guarding the Konoha gates to defend the village. They will continually fight the incoming sound ninjas till things are clear. Since Asuma is on a different mission he cannot help the team. If Shikamaru, Chouji and Ino hold their ground, Asuma will soon come and help them. Requirements: Defeat 15 Sound Nin with Shikamaru. Defeat 15 Sound Nin with Ino. Defeat 15 Sound Nin with Chouji. Suggested Team: Chouji-Ino-Shikamaru Character Unlocked: Sarutobi Asuma Mission Name: Team Of Baki Mission Description: Orochimaru is not quite convinced of the strength of his Sand Nin allies. To win him over, Baki, the Jounin leader of the Sand siblings, has asked Orochimaru to have his spies watch them in action. Help prove the strength of the Sand to Orochimaru! Requirements: Win 5 battles against Lee and/or Sasuke with Gaara. Win 4 battles in a row with Gaara in your team. Win 5 battles against Shikamaru and/or Tenten with Temari. Win 4 battles in a row with Temari in your team. Win 5 battles against Shino and/or Sakon with Kankuro. Win 4 battles in a row with Kankuro in your team. Suggested Team: Gaara-Temari-Kankuro Strategy: This team will probably be the easiest to use out of all the A Missions. It's pretty basic, do everything you can to kill them. Kankuro's Poison Bomb, Temari's Cutting Whirlwind, Gaara's Coffin of Crushing Sand, you win. It won't be hard to lose with this team. The only problem will be the ninjutsu lack, but thats why theres Kankuro. Mission Name: Sand Sibilings At War Mission Description: The Sound and Sand have launched their joint attack against Konoha! Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro must buy time until their leader, Baki, can join them on the battlefield. Requirements: Defeat 15 Konoha Nin with Gaara in your team. Defeat 15 Konoha Nin with Temari in your team. Defeat 15 Konoha Nin with Kankuro in your team. Suggested Team: Gaara-Temari-Kankuro Character Unlocked: Baki Mission Name: S-Rank Criminal Kisame! Mission Description: Kisame, the S-Rank missing nin, has come to Konoha with his partner. Can the strength of Asuma and Gai combined be enough to drive him away? Requirements: Win 5 battles with Asuma and Gai in your team. Defeat Hoshigaki Kisame once. Suggested Team: Asuma-Gai-Kurenai Strategy: Use Gai's Counter Punch, it's pretty cheap if it actually works. Save up chakra for Kurenai Tree Bind Death, and Asuma's Finishing Blow. If one of your characters die, it might be hard to win because they all take different chakra. Character Unlocked: Hoshigaki Kisame Mission Name: S-Rank Criminal Itachi! Mission Description: Itachi, the S-Rank missing nin, has come to Konoha with his partner. Can the combined skill of Kakashi and Kurenai manage to beat him back? Requirements: Win 5 battles with Kakashi and Kurenai in your team. Defeat Uchiha Itachi once. Suggested Team: Kakashi-Kurenai-Zaku Strategy: Each character uses different chakra so it's easy. Save up two ninjutsu and one taijutsu for Kakashi's Raikiri one-hitko. Prelude To The Sannin Mission Description: The Chuunin exams are in full swing until suddenly, with the help of Orochimaru, the ninjas of the Village of Sand attack! All of Konoha has become a battlefield with everyone struggling to survive. Will the Sannin appear to aid or hinder in all this confusion? Requirements: Win 2 battles in a row with Temari. Win 2 battles in a row with Shikamaru. Win 2 battles in a row with Gaara. Win 2 battles in a row with Naruto. Win 2 battles in a row with Kurenai. Win 2 battles in a row with Neji. Win 2 battles in a row with Shino. Win 2 battles in a row with Lee. Win 2 battles in a row with Zabuza. Win 2 battles in a row with Sasuke. Win 2 battles in a row with Kankuro. Mission Name: Disciples Of The Toad Mission Description: Before Jiraiya will return to Konoha he wants to see if the fruits of his knowledge, passed down through the 4th Hokage, remain. Kakashi, once student of the 4th, and Naruto, current student of Kakashi, must prove the strength of the toad. Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with Naruto. Win 14 battles against Sasuke with Naruto or Kakashi in your team. Win 14 battles against Shizune with Naruto or Kakashi in your team. Win 14 battles against Sakura with Naruto or Kakashi in your team. Win 5 battles in a row with Kakashi. Win 14 battles against Kabuto with Naruto or Kakashi in your team. Suggested Team: Kyuubi-Kakashi-Shikamaru Strategy: This team is all based around Kyuubi Naruto. Use Kyuubi Rage as soon as you can. Then save up chakra for Kyuubi Rasengan and Raikiri. If one of them is used on an opponent during Kyuubi Rage, the opponent dies next turn. Shadow Bind them as well, so they can't do anything while you are quickly taking down their team. Character Unlocked: Jiraiya Mission Name: Discples Of The Slug Mission Description: Tsunade is off gambling again while Konoha is in danger, but some excellent talent has caught her eye. If Shizune and Sakura can showcase their talents enough Tsunade will return to pass on her knowledge of the power of the slug. Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with Sakura. Win 5 battles in a row with Shizune. Win 7 battles against Naruto with Sakura or Shizune in your team. Win 7 battles against Kakashi with Sakura or Shizune in your team. Win 7 battles against Sasuke or Sakura and Shizune in your team. Win 7 battles against Kabuto with Sakura or Shizune in your team. Suggested Team: Sakura-Shizune-Chouji Strategy: This team is based all around Chouji. Get Chouji to two pills and you will own. Keep stunning with Sakura's KO Punch, and then following up with Meat Tank. Shizune should also keep on poisoning them. Character Unlocked: Tsunade Mission Name: Discples Of The Snake Mission Description: Orochimaru’s plot is in full force and Konoha is fighting for its life. Sitting on the sidelines Orochimaru watches his current and future students, Sasuke and Kabuto, to see whether they are worthy of his presence. When they do, Orochimaru will show Konoha the awesome power of the snake. Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with Sasuke. Win 5 battles in a row with Kabuto. Win 7 battles against Naruto with Sasuke or Kabuto in your team. Win 7 battles against Kakashi with Sasuke or Kabuto in your team. Win 7 battles against Sakura with Sasuke or Kabuto in your team. Win 7 battles against Shizune with Sasuke or Kabuto in your team. Suggested Team: Sasuke-Kabuto-Kimimaro Strategy: Spiking team, use Sasuke's Chidori and Kimimaro's Dance of the Clematis while Kabuto uses Temple of Nirvana to get around the other team's defences easily and do massive damage. Character Unlocked: Orochimaru Mission Name: The God Of The Shinobi Mission Description: Wracked by the grief of the wayward ways of his former students, Sandaime wallows in self-guilt, unable to bring himself to even move. Break this dark depression of Sandaime’s by showing him there is still hope for his former students! Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with all the Sannin in your team. Suggested Team: Jiraiya-Tsunade-Orochimaru Strategy: First of all use Orochimaru's Cursed Seal Technique to give extra chakra and maybe even a summon. Keep stunning every turn with Tsunade's Painful Sky Leg and Orochimaru's Kusanagi. When you have enough for a summon, be wise with which summon you use. If you need HP, use Tsunade, damage, use Jiraiya, or Orochimaru if you need to finish off an opponent. My best suggestion would be to use Jiraiya because he can do MASSIVE damage once summoned. Character Unlocked: [/url=http://www.naruto-arena.com/sandaime-hokage/]Sandaime Hokage[/url] Mission Name: The Resurrection Of The First Mission Description: Orochimaru has begun his final attack on Konoha! He has deployed his sound nin in the village hidden in the leaves and is destroying everything in their path! Now the only thing stopping Orochimaru from completing his goal of destroying Konoha is Sandaime, the third Hokage of Konoha. In the distance, the leaf Jounins battle against the sound forces to defend their homes and lives. It seems Sandaime has the advantage in this fight, but when forced into a corner, Orochimaru has a secret weapon he has been saving for this occasion. Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with Sandaime Hokage. Win 5 battles in a row with Kimimaro. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Jiroubou. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Kidoumaru. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Tayuya. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Sakon. Suggested Team: Jiroubou-Kidoumaru-Tayuya: Check Mission "The Fifth Of The Sound" Character Unlocked: Shodaime Hokage Mission Name: The Resurrection Of The Second Mission Description: Orochimaru has moved his forces in to position for the final attack on Konoha, and has his sound nins with him to secure his victory. The signal is given, and the sound nin advance into the hidden leaf, crushing all oposition. The only threat to Orochimaru now is Sandaime, who stands defiant before him. Orochimaru did not come to this battle unprepared, and soon he will be able to perform a forbidden jutsu that will seal Konoha's fate forever! Requirements: Win 5 battles in a row with Sandaime Hokage. Win 5 battles in a row with Kabuto. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Jiroubou. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Kidoumaru. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Tayuya. Defeat 5 Konoha Jounin with Sakon. #5 Shippuuden Missions Mission Name: The Prodigal Son Returns Mission Description: Naruto has been away from Konoha training with Jiraiya for the last two and a half years. Certainly he has grown into a stronger and more competent ninja. Now is his opportunity to prove it to those he left behind. Requirements: Win 8 battles with Naruto or Kyuubi Naruto in your team. Win 2 battles in a row with Naruto or Kyuubi Naruto. Suggested Team: Dosu-Baki-Kyuubi Strategy: This is one of my favorite teams that has gotten me a +12 streak. As soon as you can use Kyuubi Naruto's Kyuubi Rage. This will do great damage every turn. Follow that up with a Kyuubi Rasengan and you kill one opponent next turn already. Also, prepare Dosu's Melody Arm Tuning so that his Vibrating Sound Drill does 40 damage. Whenver you can, use Baki's Wind Blade. WIth 4 chakra, you can easily kill an opponent with Kyuubi Rasengan, Vibrating Sound Drill, and Sudden Strike. That only takes one taijutsu, two ninjutsu, and one genjutsu. This team is extremely efficient with chakra. Character Unlocked: Uzumaki Naruto (S) Mission Name: A Genius Of Hard Work Mission Description: Rock Lee is a genius, a genius of hard work and perseverance. For the last two and a half years he has walked that difficult path, becoming a chuunin and well on his way to being the next Green Beast of Konoha. Requirements: Win 10 battles with Lee in your team. Win 4 battles in a row with Lee. Suggested Team: Lee-Gaara-Ino Strategy: Wait until you get either two genjutsu, two taijutsu, or three ninjutsu before making your move. Once that happens, quickly take out one of them with either Crushing Sand Coffin or Lotus and the game is yours. When used carefully, you can make the opponent extremely frustrated. Character Unlocked: Rock Lee (S) Mission Name: The Green Beast Mission Description: For almost three years, Gai has continued on as the Jounin leader of the best taijutsu squad Konoha has ever had. Follow Gai through these times as his and his team's legend continues to grow. Requirements: Win 2 battles in a row with Lee. Win 2 battles in a row with Tenten. Win 2 battles in a row with Neji. Win 4 battles in a row with Gai. Suggested Teams: Lee-Gaara-Ino: Check Mission "The Search For Kimimaru" Tenten-Shikamaru-Temari: Check Mission "The Search For Tayuya" Neji-Kin-Shino: Check Mission "The Search For Kidoumaru" Gai-Kyuubi-Oboro: This team can do great damage over a short period of time. Use Gai's Counter Punch as soon as you can, and then use Kyuubi Naruto's Kyuubi Rage. You should be quite a good amount of damage each turn. Follow up with a Kyuubi Rasengan and you've killed one opponent. Stun any opponent that is damaging you the most with Oboro. Character Unlocked: Maito Gai (S) Kudos: Thank you to wuggle for the teams, gaara1234511 for the description. Mission Name: A True Artist Mission Description: The threat of the mysterious criminal organization Akatsuki looms on the horizons. The storm clouds are gathering and Deidara is but the first lightning strike. Will the ninja villages be ready? Requirements: Win 12 battles with any Akatsuki member in your team. Suggested Team: Itachi-Kyuubi-Shizune Kisame-Neji-Kin Strategy: (Itachi-Kyuubi-Shizune) This is a major spiking team, along with healing aids. It revolves around Kyuubi Naruto. Like before, get Kyuubi Rage going. Follow up with a Kyuubi Rasengan. When possible, use Tsukuyomi to stun an opponent that you think is the most difficult to kill. Another combo here is Amaterasu with Poison Mist. It does a good 25 damage each turn, for 3 turns which is 75 damage. Then the Amaterasu kills them. (Kisame-Hinata-Tayuya) This focuses on Hinata. First prepare Hinata, and then chakra leach like crazy with Hinata Gentle Fist. After you drain the other team dry, use Tayuya and Hinata to do good AoE to the other team fast. #15 I like this guide. Good teams, good strategy. NOTE: Just want to point out that the "Disciples Of" Missions that unlock the Sannins have been changed. You no longer have to use two people (like Kakashi AND Naruto), but you can use them separately. The Mission goals for Disciples of the Toad have been made harder though.
