I thought at first the fire skill for Itachi was a typo, 30 damage for 2 rounds. Interesting that it did 60 damage total.

It's nice that it is blockable now though, not like he was doing the most damage in my team all tie time anyway.

Part 3, eh? I figured it would come before too long. The Jinmirai Meibatsu clan thread has similar issues due to its length.:push

Anyways, I haven't had the opportunity to offer my thoughts on Itachi and Kisame, so I guess I'll say a bit about them. Having not played against them yet, though, my observations will be limited.

Kisame is certainly an eye-catching character, to say the least. Chakra-efficient, above-average damage, and the potential to both stun and steal chakra. To be honest, I never thought a character who could both single-stun and drain would be brought into the game, simply because the combination of abilities is rather intimidating. However, the use of Samehada Slash as a pseudo-preparation should keep the power of the combination more or less in check. Samehada slash may actually prove to be one of Kisame's most deadly moves, not only for its efficient damage, but for the psychological follow-up Samehada Shred provides. When you face, say, Dosu, you don't really worry about getting hit by Sound Manipulation, because it really isn't much worse than the Sound Drill itself. It takes too long to have any significant effect on foes. Samehada Shred, however, presents an immediate threat. You can knock off a bit of your opponent's chakra, which can be a nasty disruption tactic that no one really wants to be hit with. In addition, you keep that chakra for yourself, further bolstering your offense during the following round. To top it off, you deal a quick 10 damage to your foe. I can already see teams using Kisame to deal efficient damage while baiting stuns and replacements out. And, of course, Water Shark Projectile Technique (WSPT or "Water Shark" from here on) deserves mention as the second single-chakra stun in the game. Kisame gains 5 damage over Sakura in exchange for a one-round cooldown on the move, which is quite intriguing. The move's inexpensive cost will allow it to be used quickly and at the user's discretion, assuming that it isn't on cooldown. It isn't quite as good as Sakura's K.O. Punch, but Kisame's low-cost offensive potential and chakra-stealing ability more than make up for this. Kisame's nin-tai chakra type, though, will keep him from being abused too badly. Most of the game's best spikers function off of ninjutsu or taijutsu (Chouji, CSS, Anko, etc.), and most of the game's best drainers need taijutsu (Neji, Hinata, etc.). Since Kisame will likely use both a good bit of nin and tai, the nastiest combinations can be dampened a bit.

Itachi...I can't assess very well right now, without knowing the details of his nerf. Does Amaterasu still continue if Itachi is stunned? If not, I think the nerf may have gone too far. Reductions, stuns, replacements...too much can foil Amaterasu, and it would be too much trouble for the cost. Could someone please enlighten me on the matter?

I honestly don't know how Itachi got nerfed, I thought his winning percentages were fine?

Anyways, before this nerf, we all knew itachi was one of the most "attacking characters in the game." And also he was one of the "Strongest" characters overall. But this nerf made him one of the weaker ones, and also made his style no longer. Now Itachi isn't the full powered cannon. He's basically only known for his Tsukuyomi. That's ruining his style. Itachi isn't known as an drainer, support character etc. He was just known as the cannon, now he's not any style. Overall this wasn't an good balance change Luap, I'd think if anything to remove his reduction on his mangekou, if you had to nerf Itachi.

I would have to say your right, but wrong at the same time. Itachi to me wasn't a main stream attacker, becuase if you centered your team around Itachi you were dommed for failure. Anyways your right we knew it was bound to happen, but that udefendable 60 is what made Itachi unique. I feel this nerf took, away what creativity this character had.
This account no longer belongs to the zebra once known. He left this game and gave it to me. :cool. I have to put this though, N-S IS ALWAYS DOMINANT

I believe it works like Asuma's attack.

Yeah, and power and level of danger..

He's just way too weak now I think. Its one thing to make his attacks incredibly powerful, expensive, and only 1 time per game.. its another thing to keep the cooldowns and cost the same but remove his power move. He's so easy to neutralize now.

Well I think Kisame is a little weak. Samehada Shred should do atleast 25+ damage or something not just 10... I know it steals one chakra but still. And I think Itachi was fine without the nerf. Maybe you could of make it like Kimi.. some1 in here already said that I idea but i dont remember who. Like make it after he uses his attacks he loses health or something.

For what it's worth, I agree.
For the same chakra, Kabuto does five more damage and recquires no prep.

I dunno. I dont think any attack that deals that much damage can be balanced out by hurting the user. If Amaretasu deals its full damage, you really dont need Itachi anymore. All he's needed for afterwards is the chakra he brings in each turn, that can be spent finishing the other team.

What happens when Itachi percentage of wins and losses are worst? Do you just change it back?
